    For "Replacement" don't you only effect the top so should't it be {(0, 0, 1)(2, 1, 0)}

      you are right it should'nt have

      Yes, in "replacement" only one row gets affected. The third matrix in the "replacement" example should be as such:
      0 0 | 1
      2 1 | 0

      @@haroonw3726 but first the bottom row ha been scaled by 3.

    If you're watching this replacement should have been
    0 0|1
    2 1|0
    In the end, cause only the top row gets affected, you'll see this done at 9:36

    11:13 instead -5 there must have been -3 in row 3

      It's meant to be a 5, it just looks like a 3..

    can you make an Algorithm and Data Structures? i need one and i can't find anything explained in a simpler way(student here!). Your explanation are the best and i think you will explain it better!

    Is there any proofs that if we follow the properties you said will help us to find the solutions.

    How do I know which row should I change if the question doesn't clearly state that?

    • @lucci3319
      @lucci3319 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I don't understand ur question but if u askin about row reduction(simplify matrices) than u should first start from x1( Row 1) and try to eliminate x1from other rows(by making them zero with help of R1 via row operations) ... Then try to eliminate x2, x3,.....,x(n)

    this this basically gauss elimination method?

  • @doodelay

    Do mathematicians and physicists actually do all these tedious numerical computations or is there some computer that does it for them? I cannot imagine the hell it'd be to use Gaussian elimination manually

      You use a program like for example MatLab.
