Happy you gave this performance to Train/TigerMan a quadruple banger otherwise you would have missed the whole point of Elvis in Vegas. Elvis brought Rock and Roll to Vegas like he brought Gospel to Rock and Roll. I agree will this rating 100% ❤
Nothing in the world beats Elvis Live. That is 50% of the magic. you can admire him on his studio sound but seeing him will make you a convert right away. No one is better. Never will be another he just had it all. He gave 100% on every performance. You can see why he stayed so thin and these years. He just didn't ever stop moving. Thanks Seph what a great one on a dreary day. Loved it ..........Mary💗
He was unequalled on the stage! His energy, power and charisma was spectacular! He was sooo happy to be back on stage! He was born to be there! He’s your age in this performance Seph!
Elvis and his air guitar cracks me up. At one point he looks back at his band as if to say, “well, I guess I’m air guitarring now, may as well make it look cool.” So he did. 😂
BANGER! His charisma is definitely what makes Elvis...The Elvis! I really hope to see more LIVE. Wait til ya watch him sing Love Me Tender LIVE in Vegas. 😂 😘💋💋💋💋💋💋💋😂
Elvis was always better LIVE.. he fed off the audience.. I remember my Dad taking Mom to and Elvis concert in 1974. I was 7 and I still remember the outfit Mom wore.. But Dad was not a fan.. he got the tickets for Mom.. My Father came home from that concert an Elvis fan. He said I've never seen anyone put so much heart and soul into a performance.
I guess you didn’t notice that when he was imitating playing the guitar, he gave the finger behind his back to some band member/members. He did so many humorous things when he performed on stage, including 1956 on Ed Sullivan show. Many TH-cam new to Elvis reactors, have commented that they can’t keep their eyes off him when he performs. People even get captivated just watching his facial moments.
I definitely didn't pick up on tooooooo much because i was only half paying attention on this one, I didn't realise it was actually *Real* and not fan made to be honest haha
There's little energy required here compared to his earlier performances. What's funny is that the lighting effect makes him look like he's moving a lot, but he's barely moving a muscle. But Elvis knows how to move. so it looks cool.
Fabulous Elvis! The ultimate rock star live in Vegas... Gorgeous to look at! Phenomenal to listen to. Phew... 😅Shirley Bassey was in the audience there...
Yay - a quadruple 💣💣💣💣 absolutely love this but then I love everything from That's The Way It Is - could watch that film 24/7 amazing - he had so much energy and charisma and was so gorgeously handsome - can't wait for you to react to Love Me Tender from TTWII you will have a fit with the amount of fans he kisses 😘
Yep, when you see His early stuff you will see one version, but when you see him perform them Live he does a whole new thing. That's what kept him so fresh and interesting. Nothing like seeing him live, what a star he was. Thanks
- - - - - Rufus Thomas was right.... "Elvis injected something into black music that made it different, Elvis had a style of his own...." Comparing Junio Parkes' rendition (the original artist who did it), his was slow, almost depressing, and the guitar solo was almost an after thought, but when Elvis covered it, it shows us the difference between Blues and Rock & Roll. Check out all of Elvis' original 1954/55 Sun Studio songs (not live versions) and compare with the original artists. You'll see how he morphed Blues, Country, and Bluegrass into Rock & Roll. Very stunning results.
Seph, the images you saw of Elvis kissing women, that's what I told you about Elvis' performance singing Love Me Tender, and in the middle of the song he interacts with the female audience... the video is really cool
Seph great reaction to Elvis you always bring a smile to my face, did you see Elvis when playing the air guitar with his lower right hand he gave the middle finger to the band and laughed and kept on playing the air guitar 🎸😂 🤣 Also you must react to 1970 live Las Vegas (Love Me Tender 4:36) kissing all the girls 🥰 Elvis loved his fans and we loved him The girls wanted him and the guys wanted to be him, but don’t worry the boyfriends /husbands didn’t get mad about their girls getting a kiss from Elvis they loved to brag about it 💄💋😘 so sit back and enjoy this one Lol just for fun you might want to count how many girls 👧🏻 🔥🔥🔥😂
What fun!! Great reaction, Seph. I got excited all over again watching this with you. Just like the first time in the theater. Yes, the energy!!!👏👏👍💃🕺❤️❤️❤️
Elvis did Tiger man on the 68 comeback special you actually missed a fare few songs from that' show and there's another video off the sit down session called, one night with you when you reach the end of 1977 you will need to see both in full
I honestly wasn't looking at the video much because i thought it was Fan made and not Original 😅 if i had known it was i would have realllyyyy paid attention haha
Great reaction, great editing, total drive and excitement, and on my special list for DVd performances.. On your re-run of song listening I really hope Stranger In My Home Town and Memphis Tennessee will find their way out of 'E' . Both songs absolute minimum 'B' for me 🙂
"He just kissed that woman! Lucky bloody woman." (1:02) "And I got to see him kiss a load of women. Woo! Lucky bloody women!" (5:33) This kissing bit. Wasn't Elvis well known for kissing his female fans? Or am I thinking of somebody else? Did he ever kiss his adoring male fans? I caught your Easter Egg again. Of course we're never going to hate you, Seph! (5:10) We love you. Quite the tension there between the "E" ranking and the "Quadruple Banger." I have become mesmerized by your new cut and trim. Your barber did such a nice job.
@@SephPlays yes there is a song. It's a medley of Mystery Train and Tiger Man. And the music sounds pretty damn cool. However I realize that this is your channel and your personal preference. I just don't see how any Elvis fan wouldn't put this one high up on the list. But that's just me.
Seph: Both songs go back to Elvis’ early days at Sun Records. Tiger Man was recorded by Rufus Thomas and written by Sam Philipps & Joe Hill Louis. Elvis & Rufus Thomas were both recording artists for Sun Records which was owned by Sam Philipps. (Rufus Thomas, who was black, praised Elvis till his dying day, and rebuffed anyone and everyone who said Elvis stole his musical style from black music). I believe it was true that Vernon told Elvis he should sing Tiger Man. This is NOT the opening scene of the original version of the movie “That’s The Way It Is”, but is from the 2000s re-edit version. Once again, I recommend when you get to the entire movie- you should watch the original directors cut released at theaters in 1970 before you watch the re-edit. That is the way we originally saw it and formed our opinions. I prefer it.
I think you should have reacted to the first time he performed Tiger Man at the 68 C.B. You are not following the right order. For me this is top notch Volcano Elvis. You just saw the opening number of the That's The Way It Is documentary and live shows.
@@SephPlays Nice of you - going to this performance for the song Tiger Man. As mentioned Elvis sung more of it and much better in the 1968 Special and also he did this medley in his 1969 shows, also better versions than this.
Can you imagine if Elvis had done live concerts in the 60s 🤩 I love the movies so much, but a few live shows in between would of been phenomenal, so sad it never happened 😢

He Picked That Song, Because Tiger 🐅 Man
Was His Karate Name.

The 68 TV special has a great version of Tiger Man
Glad you had this version which gives the credits of everyone involved.
When i watch TTWII this opening always sets me on fire.
I love his air guitar playing.
He would have won a trophy in any competition. IMO

I'm so excited. I can't wait to see you react to the live performances. I hope you will watch "Love me tender" from "That's the way it is" (1970).
A phenomenal live performance. Nobody like him.

Elvis' Dad Vernon told Elvis he should record Tiger Man as it was Vernon's nickname for Elvis and it is also used as his name in Karate.

You’re going to love this. EP flips the upside down finger 🖕 to Charlie during JB’s guitar solo. Most miss it. A little extra tidbit. 👑✌️

Seph, if you want to See Elvis kissed a lot of womans, you need to watch « Love me tender » live in Vegas 70’s.
At the 2:57 MARK Elvis flips the bird to a band member behind him...heheheh watch carefully.

Seph you have to watch That's The Way It Is in its entirety! This was such a tease 😂
Where is Jailhouse Rock (the classic original) on your list? It's probably Elvis' greatest song ever.
Just dont get any better than that.
This is the beginning of the elvis that's the way it is movie
You have to watch Love Me Tender from the same set. You bloody said you would. I sent the link...
