Thanks Ike for this video and your sweet comments, you re the greatest, after ELVIS of course.. You seemed amazed that this concert was made 29 years before you were born, for you it sounds like a long time, however, it s not, when you think that our planet Earth was born 4,57 billion years before you were , now that s a long time.......

In 1970 Elvis' critics said he was washed up lol boy did he prove them wrong. A movie was made from this 1970 performance called That's The Way It Is. Thanks your wonderful reactions as you discover the greatness of Elvis ❤

Good review! Elvis was something else! Love your reviews, not just because we are both from Louisiana, but because you pay attention and get into it. How about doing Aaron Neville and Linda Ronstadt singing I Don't Know Much at the Grammy? They win.

It's amazing the impact he had on Vegas. This is when it was literally 'Sin City'. Elvis changed the whole dynamic and did what still hasn't been duplicated today. He didn't really need to travel abroad because when he was announced to appear, they came from all over the world to him! Funny thing is, he only usually did 2 engagements a year (2 concerts a night for a month straight). The rest of the time, about 80%, he was touring nearly nonstop across the country. The lack for a better name 'Vegas Elvis' refers more to what he was able to accomplish there in such little time with a lasting impression that's totally evident today transforming Vegas. The ability he had is quite startling and continues to show no signs of fading. PEACE!

I saw this full concert and others on video. Husbands were boosting their wives up at the stage to be kissed by Elvis. I saw another clip where a wife is waiting in a big crowd when Elvis is getting into his limo. The wife is having a hysterical fit and crying, trying to kiss Elvis. Then, she turns back to her husband and the husband is comforting her, patting her like "I know... I know...". Men understood and they really liked Elvis, too. They weren't even jealous by this point because Elvis was such a legend. Like visiting royalty, so men thought he was great and didn't even want to compete. Going to Graceland was like going to Buckingham Palace. Seeing Elvis in person was soul changing. He was otherworldly.

I'd be crying to get to see him live! 😂❤ now I wouldnt throw my undies at him but I'd be screaming and crying wishing for a kiss but probably being to nervous to even shake his hand lol ❤
I love how the lights shine on him as he goes down!

This is one of his songs, that he first released early in his career, back in the mid 50's, that he did again, late in his career. The songs he did that with, I much preferred his original 50's versions of them, over his 70's versions. This was still a great performance, but it was magical with Scotty's guitar licks. Elvis, Scotty, Bill and shortly later DJ, were 4 guys that seemed like God Himself put them together, to change the world. I guess He did. All of them were pretty average musicians, until they came together. That was when Greatness was born.
