My first 'successful' base/clear job used Urekem Base (Midnight Blue Pearl) with a different clearcoat a very high-solids reputable one. I was very happy the pearl base behaved very very well for me. 5 years ago now still looks super.
It's very similar to our products
Right around 150-200 for pro grade clear , and holds up for 5-10 years no issue !
Beautiful finish from the single stage paint job Marco, I love the colour it's yellow but it looks like it has an orange tint to it I think it really suits the truck, the paint went on really flat for a single stage as well it's almost like a clear over base so it just shows what a good gun you used and that you are a pro at your job👏🙏👍John UK

That’s the same color as my 71 Ranchero. It’s lawyer, and looks flat. That matches it but has a good gloss to it. Good looking color.

Man I think that thing turned out great! Very impressive! One question though. What's with the black design on the front quarter panels? Is that something you made up or is that something that caterpillar has on their rigs? I only ask because I've never seen it before.

Looks so nice for cheap summit paint. Can’t wait to paint my Explorer with the Speedokote gloss black single stage. I’m going to be painting a couple cars in SS soon and I’ve heard of spraying 2 coats, sanding with 800 and then respraying two more coats. One car will be sprayed in an acrylic single stage enamel as well. Trying to get a super deep finish as I will be blocking, as well as finishing with the trizact 8000 grit then cut and buff.
