I just did every dmc game (DMC5 is a work in progress) last week and i agree that dmc2 was the worst one of them all. It was fun but other ones are just better. DMC 3 is the best one.

I’ve never seen fans for this game who aren’t being ironic. 1 and 3 were just so far superior, (especially 3) and I just can’t get used to the sluggish way Dante moves and dodges. Plus the op guns make it less fun. I feel the way about 3 you do about 2, I guess. To me it’s one of the best action games ever made and always a challenge on hard when I come back or switch to some weird style. (Royal guard for life.) but yeah I dropped 2 after the first few missions, Dante feels like Conker does on the Matrix movie mission part of CBFD. I got too used to how he normally feels: heavy and fast. Like he has weight.
Kinda unrelated but I do like how you used “Moondus” instead of “Muhndus” since the latter was just the DmC way but most people use it. Nerdy stuff aside congrats on the successful challenge! …How about DMC 2 though?
Now I'm wishing I tried out my holy waters on bosses during my intial playthrough, I always just assumed it wouldn't work so I never tried it, would've made some bosses so much easier
I almost thought you were playing the HD collection version of the game. Which if I remember correctly has at least 3 of the games and maybe 4 as DLC I think? Which I know it’s annoying on my part, but I think if you played that version playing all 3(DLC doesn’t have to count since that is sort of a separate purchase) would be required.
@@dash3075 there are no puzzles and stuff, and you don't go back to places you have been before in levels. The game focuses on what it's good at, combat.

I actually did this with dmc2, speedran the game in a single night cause I needed an official dual shock controller to play ffxii
Dmc2 is an easy enough game to beat in less than 2hrs anyway.

The holy waters are fairly useless on anything above normal difficulty, I don’t use them outside of speedrun tactics
