Worked like a charm. Though I was doing 45k damage per hit with level 1 sp attack and sp turbo abilities. Still able to breeze through no issues. Thanks and thanks for sharing the easy farm video as well.
Just wanted to say thank you for the guide, used it today and it worked like a charm! I only used 1 Phoenix Down with this instead of the 10+ with the Costly Punch method.

I did it first try even though I forgot to put on an accessorie to have unlimited AP. Had to drink some Soma's mid fight but still works great. I even forgot Mog and doesn't used a single phoenix down
This was super easy to do I was doing far less damage 30 or so thousand with high and 18 or so thousand with drain but I managed to wittle her down eventually perhaps getting Rush Assault LVL 5 helped on that bar as I wasn't getting past 100% but it completely destroyed it which was the last time she went for it although I survived the last one so who knows.
I just took the the easy way to beat her and that was you SP master, gill toss, hp break limit . I had over 40 million gill from grinding and stealing from the holy tonberry 😂
Kinda sad im at the final boss fight and i forgot to talk to a npc so im missing a single mission would start over but want to beat her for the item before i go back to ng+
Nice. My set up is the same except I didn't add stats and I need the genjis. I do 99k crits tho with high jump on normal bosses 10 star enemies so I probably need to grab that gear and farm a load of sp and gil Before using sp turbo and sp turbo attack I was doing 12k now I swing for 25, 85k hard hit with buster non crit and high jump 99k with and without crit. Aka I'm not prepared yet but I'm shocked how easy things get after breaking 9999 dmg and hp then the zeidrich and black cowl for all missions minus Minerva. Dualcast electrocute does 480k atm. 10 million HP is gonna be tough and I'm gonna try Minerva without anything else then try with the full thingy
Very nice! Yeah I definitely recommend trying her with your current setup just for fun! The way I beat her was cool but not as satisfying 😅. I made it TOO easy.
When she does the Judgement Arrow move it will one shot you but he used the Phoenix down immediately. @3:27 ish should show it. I think the move specifically eats your phoenix down lol.

I seriously don't get it... I'm higher leveled than this, maxed out stats... And she's still hitting me for 99999 damage when hits do land. I get her down to one or two hits left, and she KOs me... Then immediately does it again before I can get another phoenix down on. I do NOT remember her being this difficult on PSP. I wish it'd had trophies so I didn't have to do this crap again.
@@kurchak My stats are 255, all but luck. I'm doing about 90k damage with 4-star sp materia, but even blocking her attacks I'm still getting wiped. The biggest issue is the last couple of hits away from beating her. She *ALWAYS* wipes me, and attacks immediately after I'm up before i can get another PD on, even when I'm mashing the button to use it. It's frustrating. I'm hoping now that I've complained about it online, I'll beat it next time xD

Hmm... Good question, I've been on a couple other games since I played CC, but if I remember correctly, all I did was farm the Dark Matter (because it was so easy to farm), and then I "converted" them to other stats (like luck, mag, str, vit, whatever), by adding them all to a materia EXCEPT for the last two points (like get the SP Turbo to 98 Mag first) and then fusing that final point with a SINGLE "luck item". Does that make sense? Because then all that 98 magic will be converted into 99 or 100 luck (or whatever skill item you used last). Edit: yeah, it was definitely the Dark Matter items that I used for most my stats. I have a video linked in the description that I used to get 99 Dark Matter. Then I would fuse my desired materia to 98 Mag (or whatever Dark Matter does), then I would use a single item for the last fusion to convert that 98 Mag to whatever skill I wanted. But keep in mind that some materia fusions will FORCE you to convert the materia itself to something dumb that you don't want. So it's important to do a little test fusion first (or at least line them up, you don't have to actually fuse them), and make sure you have two materia that you can fuse and end up with your original desired materia. I messed this up once and had to redo the entire materia lol. Always do a save and/or cloud save backup (with auto-upload turned off) just to be safe. Also, avoid using master materias because they frequently turn into something else when fused (fucking Quake man... That shit was the death of me. Seemed like everything I mastered wanted to become a damn Quake lol)
Aerial Drain actually takes the enemies health and gives it to you. It doesn't have quite as far reach or high damage so I only use it when my HP drops.
Materia fusion. It's a real grindy process. You can farm Hero Drinks (fusion items that increase attack by 1) by stealing from the robot things, I forgot the name of them on mission 9-6-3. Then fuse High jump
Also, check out the link I put in the description. I farmed dark matter or whatever it was called (been a while) and then full your stat up that it gives you, and right before you get 98 or so you convert the 98 over to the stat you actually want.

Hi. I'm getting ready to take on Minerva. I do not have gengi armor. I have genji shield, helm, gloves, and ziedrich. My level is 72. I guess my question would be. Do I need to be at level 96 and have over 10632703 SP like yourself and have the genji armor?
Hmm, yeah the gengi armor and lots of SP certainly made it an easier fight, and being 96, but it is not all absolutely necessary. You'll notice that I did literally nothing but tap the same attack button the entire time haha it was basically cheesing the boss so hard that it became a joke. If you are willing to actually fight her for real (I did basically nothing lol) then you can definitely get through her. You gota watch out for her moves that are power moves (hit SUPER hard). You WILL need the max HP tho, like I have, otherwise she is going to one-shot you easily. How are your current stats looking?
@@chrismason1167 yeah that's excellent. The VIT and SPR are the two that matter most. Fighting Minerva is all about staying alive and not getting one-shotted. Do you have 99,999 HP?
@@kurchak I have 9,999 HP. I think because I'm using the genji shield for auto guard so I'm not breaking the HP limit. I'm only on chapter 4 at the beginning in the church. I was wanting to beat her early so I can continue on with the rest of the story. I played it on PSP so I know the ending lol.
@@chrismason1167 haha very nice, yeah I played the PSP version but surprisingly not till a year or two ago! And I'm a huge FF7 fan. I just didn't have a PSP as a kid haha. Well I gota say man, IDK if you can beat her with 9,999 HP cause some of her attacks hit for 90,000 in one shot. And that's with 255 VIT and SPR. There might be some trick online tho? People do some incredible things so I wouldn't be surprised if there is some crazy method to get it done haha
What are your stats? And do you have the same materia as well and with the same levels? Also, the "abilities" on the center of the screen, are they the same? And how much SP do you have? Oh sorry, yes this was on hard mode. She takes your phoenix down when you are on hard and you can see that happen to me during the fight.
@@fridvince it's been a while now but if I remember correctly it was one of the Genji accessory/armor items that bumps your HP up. And I believe your Vitality has to be maxed out. I think the Genji item removes the cap/limit, allowing a 255 Vitality to give you 99,999hp. Double check this tho cause like I said I haven't played since uploading this haha
Man, I am forgetting more and more as time passes 😅. I don't remember which specific item converts it to luck, but if you Google the list of which item gives which stat you can see. Then you use the dark matter to get a materia up to like 97 or 98, then you do the final fusion with just ONE of the "luck item" (whichever it is) and it will convert all that magic stat over to luck. I did this for every single stat I think.

@@rsnori21 good question. It's been a while since I played this. I think during this part I was on normal because for platinum you don't have to beat her on hard. Don't quote me on this, but I THINK it still works as long as you keep jumping which dodges most of her attacks and always replace your phoenix down whenever she uses that judgment or ultima attack or whatever it's called you can survive it.

How did you get 100 luck on your SP Turbo Attack? You have to farm those greens from the kactar. But they are hard to take out.

@@keestar8740 it's been a while since I played, but I suspect it might be the SP Turbo or something like that? Do you have an SP Turbo mastered and equipped? I think that was the final key to hitting 90k

Hi. I'm getting ready to take on Minerva. I do not have gengi armor. I have genji shield, helm, gloves, and ziedrich. My level is 72. I guess my question would be. Do I need to be at level 96 and have over 10632703 SP like yourself and have the genji armor?
Hmm, yeah the gengi armor and lots of SP certainly made it an easier fight, and being 96, but it is not all absolutely necessary. You'll notice that I did literally nothing but tap the same attack button the entire time haha it was basically cheesing the boss so hard that it became a joke. If you are willing to actually fight her for real (I did basically nothing lol) then you can definitely get through her. You gota watch out for her moves that are power moves (hit SUPER hard). You WILL need the max HP tho, like I have, otherwise she is going to one-shot you easily. How are your current stats looking?

VIT 255
MAG 159
SPR 255
LCK 145
@@chrismason1167 yeah that's excellent. The VIT and SPR are the two that matter most. Fighting Minerva is all about staying alive and not getting one-shotted. Do you have 99,999 HP?
@@kurchak I have 9,999 HP. I think because I'm using the genji shield for auto guard so I'm not breaking the HP limit. I'm only on chapter 4 at the beginning in the church. I was wanting to beat her early so I can continue on with the rest of the story. I played it on PSP so I know the ending lol.
@@chrismason1167 haha very nice, yeah I played the PSP version but surprisingly not till a year or two ago! And I'm a huge FF7 fan. I just didn't have a PSP as a kid haha. Well I gota say man, IDK if you can beat her with 9,999 HP cause some of her attacks hit for 90,000 in one shot. And that's with 255 VIT and SPR. There might be some trick online tho? People do some incredible things so I wouldn't be surprised if there is some crazy method to get it done haha

What are your stats? And do you have the same materia as well and with the same levels? Also, the "abilities" on the center of the screen, are they the same? And how much SP do you have?
Oh sorry, yes this was on hard mode. She takes your phoenix down when you are on hard and you can see that happen to me during the fight.

how did you reach 99999 hp?
@@fridvince it's been a while now but if I remember correctly it was one of the Genji accessory/armor items that bumps your HP up. And I believe your Vitality has to be maxed out. I think the Genji item removes the cap/limit, allowing a 255 Vitality to give you 99,999hp. Double check this tho cause like I said I haven't played since uploading this haha
What's the best way to get 100 luck on a Materia?
Man, I am forgetting more and more as time passes 😅. I don't remember which specific item converts it to luck, but if you Google the list of which item gives which stat you can see. Then you use the dark matter to get a materia up to like 97 or 98, then you do the final fusion with just ONE of the "luck item" (whichever it is) and it will convert all that magic stat over to luck.
I did this for every single stat I think.

@@rsnori21 good question. It's been a while since I played this. I think during this part I was on normal because for platinum you don't have to beat her on hard.
Don't quote me on this, but I THINK it still works as long as you keep jumping which dodges most of her attacks and always replace your phoenix down whenever she uses that judgment or ultima attack or whatever it's called you can survive it.
