Practical Living We love each other because he loved us first. -1 John 4:19 Often, we hear preaching that only emphasizes what we’re supposed to do for God. So, when we go to church, we start feeling guilty because we don’t measure up. We’re not giving enough, or praying enough, or evangelizing enough. We need to learn more about what God has done for us. In doing so, we’ll gain a greater appreciation for Him, and we’ll want to do more for Him. As 1 John 4:19 reminds us, “We love each other because he loved us first” As we read the Bible, we will find that the primary emphasis is not what we should do for God but what God has done for us. Now, that is not to say that the Bible doesn’t have plenty to tell us about how we are to live and behave as believers. But we need to pay closest attention to Scripture’s emphasis on what God has done for us. In the first three chapters of Ephesians, the apostle Paul lays out what God has done for us. He’s essentially saying, “Here’s what God has done for you. In light of this, it’s time for you to walk spiritually. It’s time for you to use what God has given to you.” We could compare the first three chapters of Ephesians to being on a mountaintop. When Jesus was transfigured on a mountain, Peter, James, and John had the privilege of seeing it. And Peter, overwhelmed by what he saw, said to Jesus, “Rabbi, it’s wonderful for us to be here! Let’s make three shelters as memorials one for you, one for Moses, and one for Elijah” (Mark 9:5) In essence, Peter was saying, “Let’s never leave this spot. Forget about the troubles down the mountain. Let’s just set up camp and stay here.” In the same way, we could read the first three chapters of Ephesians and say, “Forget about the next section. I like hearing about what God has done for me. Let’s not go any further.” But we have to move on. And as we transition from chapter 3 to chapter 4, an important division takes place. Ephesians 4 begins, “Therefore I, a prisoner for serving the Lord, beg you to lead a life worthy of your calling, for you have been called by God” Notice that Paul begins with the word “therefore.” As I’ve often said, whenever you see the word “therefore” in the Bible, find out what it’s there for. It is always drawing on what has been previously said. While they were on the mountain with Jesus, Peter, James, and John didn’t know there was a man waiting with a very real need. He had a child who was possessed by demons and needed a touch from Jesus. Sometimes, we wish that the Christian life could be a constant state of euphoria in which we’re always experiencing God in some wonderful way. But we cannot live on the mountaintop. We need to come back to the valleys, to the real world of practical living.

Loving Ed's rework. He's fun to play and see in motion. I'm hoping they go into more backstory of Dadrog. 😅 With the red top and blue shorts, I saw a hint of Terry Bogard.
4:55 so I absolutely hate that the level 3 and the DP can so this. I really wish they had made level 2 214214P (QCBQCB) because doing it the other way either causes a DP to come out sometimes and make the level 3 miss just like this Or… some combos that call for double DP’s end up calling the level 3 early no matter how cleanly I try to do the inputs. In the corner specifically there’s a combo where you can do drive impact into wall splat, MP, HP, 236HK, 623LP, 623MP (HP also works if you do it really fast) But regardless if I try The medium or heavy uppercut; if I have 3 bars the super will come out every single time. I’ve ever tried to do it as slow as possible. (But you have to do it as soon as you recover from the light uppercut or it’ll drop) And even when I do it slow enough that the combo would drop anyway, it still comes out as the level 3… This problem would not exist if it were a QCB super (and psycho blitz is better to super into anyway!!!) As for the level 2, just make it 214214K
Hmm, 7mins, going 8min and 50secs in. So if you block during that ball and throw escape, you still get hit by the ball after. If you EX out of it and the player blocks it, it leaves you for a punish after. The only way out of that cheap outcome is the player screws up, yet it still leaves you to figure out what the player going to do. Yeah, it is pretty cheap.
Fun fact mid screen if you do target combo into lvl 2 with the heavy uppercut and walk forward you do heavy snatcher and the dash punch you get a safe jump.

But it was the same way when Aki came out. I remember looking at my history from back then (when you could check on that bucklers boot camp thing) and it was 10 solid pages of aki mirror matches

We love each other because he loved us first.
-1 John 4:19
Often, we hear preaching that only emphasizes what we’re supposed to do for God.
As 1 John 4:19 reminds us, “We love each other because he loved us first”
As we read the Bible, we will find that the primary emphasis is not what we should do for God but what God has done for us.
It’s time for you to use what God has given to you.”
We could compare the first three chapters of Ephesians to being on a mountaintop. When Jesus was transfigured on a mountain, Peter, James, and John had the privilege of seeing it. And Peter, overwhelmed by what he saw, said to Jesus, “Rabbi, it’s wonderful for us to be here! Let’s make three shelters as memorials one for you, one for Moses, and one for Elijah” (Mark 9:5)
In essence, Peter was saying, “Let’s never leave this spot. Forget about the troubles down the mountain. Let’s just set up camp and stay here.”
In the same way, we could read the first three chapters of Ephesians and say, “Forget about the next section. I like hearing about what God has done for me. Let’s not go any further.”
But we have to move on. And as we transition from chapter 3 to chapter 4, an important division takes place. Ephesians 4 begins, “Therefore I, a prisoner for serving the Lord, beg you to lead a life worthy of your calling, for you have been called by God”
Notice that Paul begins with the word “therefore.” As I’ve often said, whenever you see the word “therefore” in the Bible, find out what it’s there for.
The duff is back, with THE GREATEST Of EASE!At least until they give us DUDLEY!!

Smug u gotta qualify for capcom next season bro it was be so hype if u made it
Ed punching literal toes looks so silly. Acting like he wouldnt get his nose shattered with a bazooka knee or something
dudley did the same
Balrog too lol
It's dumb but you either choose between them attacking below the belt or them literally not having lows
@@TheVirginMeri the more you think about it the more it doesn't fit in right where everyone else will use their legs too
Glad you’re enjoying Ed, and that beautiful combo at the beginning? (Chef’s kiss) 😎👍
Boxer SMUG let's go!!!
Been waiting on this Smug lab!! Time to bully Justin!!!😂
what's wild is that Duds can still make it in cause ED is an outboxer while Dudley is definitely more of an in fighter. IPPO VS MASHIBA
SMUG GOT HIS BOXING GLOVES EVERYBODY RUN!!
Loving Ed's rework. He's fun to play and see in motion.
I'm hoping they go into more backstory of Dadrog. 😅
With the red top and blue shorts, I saw a hint of Terry Bogard.
The fact that Juri had a 15 game win streak while exclusively wake up jumping or dp is insane
watching smug boxer is always a breath of fresh air! I can't wait to see how good he gets.
Season 2 hopefully we get Balrog,Dudley,,Sagat, Vega,Makoto,Sean, Mayor Cody, M.Bison controlled Falke, Menai in season 3
This Ed i played tore my ass up with one punch and DI 😅the whole game
SMUG CapCupXI winner w/ the greatest of ease, I'm callin' it rn! My main man's back in the GAME, boi!
FINALLY ive been waiting for this post for days
This character looks like some kind of mix of Dudley and Yamazaki...
Just glad to see Smug get a real boxer again. Its been a minute.
4:55 so I absolutely hate that the level 3 and the DP can so this.
I really wish they had made level 2 214214P (QCBQCB) because doing it the other way either causes a DP to come out sometimes and make the level 3 miss just like this
Or… some combos that call for double DP’s end up calling the level 3 early no matter how cleanly I try to do the inputs.
In the corner specifically there’s a combo where you can do drive impact into wall splat, MP, HP, 236HK, 623LP, 623MP (HP also works if you do it really fast)
But regardless if I try The medium or heavy uppercut; if I have 3 bars the super will come out every single time.
I’ve ever tried to do it as slow as possible. (But you have to do it as soon as you recover from the light uppercut or it’ll drop)
And even when I do it slow enough that the combo would drop anyway, it still comes out as the level 3…
This problem would not exist if it were a QCB super (and psycho blitz is better to super into anyway!!!)
As for the level 2, just make it 214214K
@21:11 my main man Smuggles' response to getting a parking ticket.
is your moment smug
He got in that yamazaki moves now.
I heard Ed hit juri so hard he knocked her socks 🧦 off 😂 that's why she always bare foot
In street fighter alpha have u ever had a cut seen finish
Ed getting the classic controls I KNEW Smug would dominate!!!
Duff city is back!
Can't wait to see Dudley vs Ed!
Duff Jr. is back
Think I'm gonna wait a little for the hype to die down so I don't have to play 10 mirror matches in a row.
I can't wait to hear low tear. God cry about this character.
I keep hearing Ed say TOMAHAWK like T.Hawk in SFIV...
So smug do you still want dudley to return now that ed is out or dudley style play is way different .
Been waiting for this
Smug, would you be happy if Dudley come back in sf6, u were killed and smoke lots of player
time to head back to duff city.
I knew you was gonna love this character
Now it’s time to tune in. Smug bout to take norcal regionals
I can’t wait to run into smug in ranked with that new worldwide update
I knew this video was coming as soon as Ed’s trailer dropped.
Why Ed got barcodes on his shoulders???? Is it from being experimented on when he was younger?

Why everybody is not using psychoupper for anti-air ?
hold on is that Xombat from the beginning of the vid is the same pro mortal kombat player Xombat?
Yea thats him.
Nice slow fireball scheme.
Duff city is back.
Duffy City back in this piece!! Time to hit the lab and show them what those hands can do, @SMUG. LET'S GO!!! 🦾💯🔥
That cobo was nasty af
Pretty sure the charged HP can be canceled into a duck dash
It can but only during a certain window and not the backwards dash just foward
@@ΚρανίΩahhhh okay
Hmm, 7mins, going 8min and 50secs in. So if you block during that ball and throw escape, you still get hit by the ball after. If you EX out of it and the player blocks it, it leaves you for a punish after. The only way out of that cheap outcome is the player screws up, yet it still leaves you to figure out what the player going to do. Yeah, it is pretty cheap.
Ed right now is just ed and dudley mixed
Took me two hours to do that first combo lol
Fun fact mid screen if you do target combo into lvl 2 with the heavy uppercut and walk forward you do heavy snatcher and the dash punch you get a safe jump.
YEAHHHHHHH
Need to use standing HK for anti-air.
Me like : pressing like on your video before watchin it 🤷🏾
Yo why does Ed look like the DMC version of Dante?
ED. Stand for Evil Dudley. This they new Dudley. Blk Dudley not coming bacc, sorry Smug. Get use to it 😂😂
Is it me or does smug love boxing characters? lol
Your late! I been waiting for you to post this video for hrs!!!! Looool
Finally got something to watch again! Hahahahaha good show smug! How you liking Ed??

Thanks for liking my comment I really appreciate it so much
Thanks smug I appreciate you so much keep up the good work
😂😂😂 am just from having a 2hour argument in a comment section with abt a hundred people about why SMUG will wash the fgc with this character. Bros been boxing since like forever in all sf editions
This could have easily been Dudley DLC smh been patiently waiting to Keep it Classy on somebody
Wouldn't be hot if Balrog taught him and in sf7 dudley teaches
???
Balrog did teach him. He's kinda a father figure for Ed in SF5 till Ed defeated Balrog. Also, hot? Wait what? 😂
@Urd-Vidan I'm saying we know that Balrog taught him in sfv which leads to his play style is sf6 now it would be crazy BTW s6 and s7 dudley teaches Ed
That's all I'm saying
Let’s go Smug!
Is Ed going to be his new main?
No anti air for ed?
finally a boxer in sf6 ? where is balrog
They need to nerf Eds speed.
