G'day Dave,
In my 50 odd years of fishing i have never had a hook or treble in my hand. I put it down to using a small potatoe hession bag to hold the fish. However I was in my garage and stepped on a treble on the floor and one went into my foot i pulled it out with pliers and cleaned it up. You wouldn't read about it. I now make sure i don't spill tackle in the garage. Once again the most beautiful colours in the Kimberley and the mighty barramundi. I only like eating barra around 59-65cm. The rest have their freedom there is a sense of satisfaction when they swim away.🤠🎣👌👍🤙😀✅️
Hey mate yeah I don’t keep a lot of fish myself as well only enough for a decent feed and fresh is best Chris.
Definitely don’t plan getting another hook jammed into me that’s it now 😂

been watching for a long time now and have often thought when you're holding up a fish for the camera.........geez if that was me I'd be getting the lure out first.......but you didn't even get to hold it up.😁
Haha I know 🤦♂️ crazy how long it took to take out was in pretty deep 😂 was definitely one of the hardest trebles to get got that’s for sure.

Well, the treble in the finger was less than ideal. One of those times you just suck it up and rip it out.

What a fantastic trip Dave. So many options in the Wyndham area with all those rivers . I suppose False Mouths would be a bit of a stretch in the tinny hey ?
Glad you got that hook out mate. I know it would hurt like f$%k but could you have clipped it off at the curve in the treble and pushed the barb through the skin instead of pulling it against the barb. Ive done this with a much smaller treble but a big treble like that could be difficult

Hey Lyndon, Not at all mate I go to the False Mouths and will do a trip about that way soon. Just got to pick the right days with weather and tides. Smaller trebles is ok to push threw but this on was just in a bugger of a spot 😂. It worked out at the end so all good 😁
