I love your consistency in what you do Matt. You allow us to feel like we're there with you. No pointless banter, no obnoxious music, no hard sell. Just great pure fishing. Please keep up the great work !!!
#facts
Very true about the no hard sell. He doesn't even do the typical like, comment & subscribe or here's my fishing tackle affiliate link mumbo jumbo.
@@JayRosin Best fishing channel out there. For me at least, nothing else even begins to come close.
Just fishing, that's it!
Agreed, I get tired of and sometimes annoyed by the hundreds of so-called "professional" angler channels with their clickbait titles, product and company promotions, and rambling. "Triple your bites with this lure modification", "tournament secret", "other pros ate gonna hate me for this" lol "forward sonar is hurting fishing". "This works best in 5-8' of semi-clear water during the shad spawn when the mayflies are hatching and there's a full moon". I kid you not, one of these guys has a "bring your gun when you're fishing" video with comments from several idiots saying it's a good idea. L O L
Man I love Saturdays.
In so many ways.
Despite been a "dink fest" it's amazing the strength and energy they had making it a fun day for sure!! getting up at 2am and go paddling a kayak the whole day? You are my hero!! like you said, it is well worth it!! Thanks so much, know Me and 393K are watching you!!
Gotta make the most of those calm days! We only get a few of those a year.
This guy is the Bob Ross of fishing. Thank you so much, Matt. For those who are constantly working and caught up in the urban environment and can rarely get on the lake or river, this is VERY therapeutic. The sounds of the birds, reel spinning, the water, bugs. This is just pure nostalgia. Thank you, sir.
This channel completely represents my life goals
No forward facing sonar, just a man with decades experience putting down the hammer.💪
Nothing more relaxing than watching you fish and listening to your calm commentary. Thanks for posting.
Don’t change anything with ur videos man, it’s therapy. Tight lines!
Bob Ross of fishing.
This is hands the best fishing channel on you tube it feels like a Bob Ross fishing trip
This is your best video. A new lake you hadn't fished before and you nailed em! Shows your true love of fishing, it's why I watch every video 😁
A few videos ago someone in the comments said you're the Bob Ross of fishing. I think that's such a great synopsis. I always feel relaxed and at peace watching your videos. Cheers!
We'd love to see a video on how you cast. So accurate and consistent. Also, how you utilize different techniques. Pretty impressive.
Thanks for the videos!
Up 😅
Sweet sassy mollasy!! DEC just stocked my local creek with rainbows and hooked into some nice ones yesterday. Man I love fishing😁
The thing that we all take for granted about your channel... Is that you find these amazing fishing spots.... And you're the only person I ever see fishing!!! Except when your fishing with the person .. but wow. Like this video. Don't other people like awesome fishing spots??
Great Saturday morning study break!
How relaxing. Im living vicariously through you and loving it
The way that first bass dinked into the kayak had me dying for some reason.
Pretty much the most solid rod setup you can have.
I picked up the new BassX rods and I’m looking forward to trying those this summer! They feel more like the old ones I had here rather than the previous generation.
Thank you so much, Matt, for another enjoyable, relaxing Saturday enjoying a cup of good coffee while spending time with you on a beautiful lake with no interruptions just casually catching some very healthy bass! Take care and be safe!
Man what a beautiful morning. I love the water when it’s calm as glass. It’s very relaxing.
Fresh coffee beans going and another awesome fishing trip we get to come along to. Saturday is off to a great start. Thank You for taking the time to share!
Love it. Out on the kayak. . Quiet..enjoyable.
Best fishing content hands down man!!
went fishing yesterday at a 20x20 feet pond and caught 50 small game fish bluegill, creek chubs, rock bass etc
This lake has so many spots to fish! Great spot. Thanks for taking me/us out with ya on such a nice beautiful morning. Stay safe and FISH ON!
I’m with you on this, what a beautiful lake and a beautiful day. Even if you don’t catch anything it’s memorable!
Yeah I think I only covered about a third of the lake. I think it would be a fun place to take my daughter in the future, clear water and lots of fish swimming around, a couple eagles nests, and lots of islands to fish around and explore.
What's this lake called? Would like to try it out!!
I know you said you didn't show your small fish catches on your footage, but us fishers like to see All your Misses, small & big catches on your videos. It's what keeps us interested.
All i could think when you where in those lilly pads where your in bass fishing heaven
Howdy everyone
That lake is very much like so many around here. Lots of bass, but most are 1.5lbs or so. When I do find a "honey hole" I keep it secret. Twice in my life I have seen trophy bass waters ruined. The last time, as "luck" would have it, as my friend was photographing my PB 8.6lb bass, a reporter was secretly photographing us from hiking trails along side the lake. I ended up on the front page of the town paper, and by the next weekend not a parking space was to be found at the launch. Invasive weeds were introduced, and over 2 decades later the place is still choked out and fishing is poor at best. I appreciate the fact you still post videos of less than impressive catches, it speaks volumes to your character. Hats off to you man. Tight lines and happy fishing.
The first one t-boned that spook! Thanks for the video and greetings from Germany
It's always beautiful to be on the lake just as the sun is coming up. With a smooth flat surface. Nothing better....thanks for taking us with you 😊😊😊😊😊😊
I love your videos
Another great video. It’s always nice when you’re catching bigger ones, but I’m happy just catching fish.
The bob Ross of fishing
Love watching The Bob Ross of TH-cam Fishing! 💯 🐟 🎣
I finished my 71st trip around the sun and I fish in an 8' PondProwler with a trolling motor but I have saved myself a fortune with the ability to cruise into shallow areas and retrieve jigs and lures and sometimes flies! Pretty lake and I love that mirror finish on the water.
Thank you for helping me with my severe depression. You are BY FAR my fav channel on TH-cam. The beautiful scenery and your soothing voice are better than any drug that any doctor could ever prescribe to me
Such beautiful scenery on that lake...that Lilly pad area looked SOOO FISHY
Plenty of positives even if the fish were on the small side. That is a beautiful lake for sure, and the mist rolling up when you arrived was very serene....and it looked like you had it all to yourself.
I recently got myself a fishing kayak and im enjoying it alot. Just discovered your channel and i am enjoying it, as well. Tight lines! 🤙🐸🎣
Beautiful lake, nothing wrong with top water action.
Awesome video!
Looking forward too visiting Minnesota and experience some of this fishing for myself!!
Thank you!!!!!!!!
I love you and your vibes mr yak angler from North Dakota
Best mornings are Saturdays all thanks to you Matt!
Always a pleasure to see your videos! 🤟🏻👏🏻
Can't beat a calm sunny day on a new lake you have all to yourself.
I ran into a lake several years ago that was slammed with 12-15 inch bass that were so fat. That was one of the most memorable days of fishing. Your commentary is great.
Those smaller fish fight hard if they’re well fed! This was a fun lake, I might take my daughter back there once I get her into a tandem kayak with me.
A most entertaining video in that gorgeous lake.
I got to fish up there in the mid-80’s and it sure is fun fishing new water👍
NDY! You've inspired me to also share content here, Thanks! - You ever make to the East
coast, let me know, I'd enjoy taking you fishing (I have 2 kayaks).
I like how youve got fishing for year round :) it helps give insight to what might be available in different seasons and locations
Beautiful country and lake. Seems like crowds were not a problem lol. Great viewing for a rainy Saturday here. Cool video.
Can’t wait to see what you catch today!
Next time it may be a good idea to bring an Ultralight rig for having fun at Lake Dink. At least your catching fish & it won't be long till the next vid & bigger fish . Minnesota is a fantastic place & you never know what you may catch but the time i went for 2 weeks with friends we had a blast & not one day we didn't do well for Pike , Walleyes , Large & Smallmouths , Rock Bass ,Bluegills & great Black Crappies. Every lake is a challenge & beautiful as can be.
What a lovely place to spend a morning. Thanks, John. UK.
Love this!
I cant wait til we can do this again...soon
2:09 that’s a funny coincidence 😂
Said it before I'll say it again because of you I'm a slayer with the spro rat. Keep it up.
One of my favorite lures! I’m really glad they started making them again.
You should do more red river cat fishing I’m still trying to catch a big one there or you should try the sheyenne river in west Fargo.
Beautiful scenery 🎣
All the right choices brother 👌 👍👏
thanks for taking us along the small ones are fun also!
Man, you make me want to get the kayak out so bad. Looks like such a fun day!
I love these videos
Matt, you rock! Love the channel and content. Peace 🤘 💥 ✌️
Talk about a great time! Those are healthy bass so before you know it they’ll be monsters.
I could be on that lake all day and not catch anything, and it would still be a fantastic day.
These videos and outings are an absolute treat. I love the explorer mentality and although it didn't produce monsters you said it best. Might be a great return lake for you to bring your daughter. That's the good stuff after fresh ground beans and brew in the pot. Any of us would take a good numbers lake trip. Blessings this Easter brother
I was thinking the same thing I bet my daughter would have a blast on this lake with the clear water and fish swimming around all over!
Beautiful color on those bass.
Love the simplicity...love the Zillion21 standardization. I've found myself over there past few years picking two the three presentations and living or dying by them on any given day.
This man is the Bob Ross of fishing. Truly remarkable videos my man.
Even though they weren't lunkers, it was still a good day of fishing.
Thanks for the ride.
Excellent! Thanks for taking us along.
@NDYakAngler
I love the scenery of this lake! Can you please tell me where in MN this is at? I live in MN and would lover just to go kayaking there. If not I understand.
Keep exploring new lakes man. You've got so many to choose from, and you know eventually you will land on better waters with big fish potential. It's fun watching you challenge yourself yet so rewarding seeing success, despite fishing new water.
I will fish and catch that size all day. No problem. Love being out no matter what
That view around 5:40s is incredible
"Hands down one of the best fishing Channels on TH-cam"
Another awesome video! Thanks for sharing. Tight lines!
I love calm water in the morning.
Someone else has fallen in love with diawas. They're incredible.
After seeing so many videos of you throwing the 75 Whopper Plopper, I finally went out today to get one and try it out. Ended with 3 fish and 3 missed bites in less than an hour. Such a better size than the 90/110.
I’m sure I don’t speak for everyone, but I’d rather watch you catch twelves all day long versus some jackass with three hundred sponsors catching lunkers off his 100k+ boat. It’s not necessarily about catching the giants. It’s quality videos with no music or flair. Keep em coming, bud.
Amen
Thanks for sharing this with us. This was awesome. Nice lure choices. Little surprised no whopper plopper.
That water is so clear
I live for this stuff waking up at the ass crack of dawn and fishing topwater
I usually have to get up at about 3am in the summer if I want to drive out to a lake for first light but it’s totally worth it! Having no traffic to deal with on my way out of town is great too!
2:30? AM? - Dude... that's my normal bedtime. You're one dedicated man. This is simly a beautiful video on a new lake. This is why fishing new places can be so exciting! ..I would also suggest that you include a few quick shots of some of the small fish you catch. You know.. prove that you really are human, not an alien! Same thing with some tree and bush casts. Seriously.. totally enjoy your videos! You are truly blessed!
I’m a night person myself, those days I get up at 2:30 I might get a couple hours of sleep before I’m up getting ready to go. If I’m catching fish I don’t get tired while I’m out fishing though!
Good day on the water my man!
I'm waiting tooo see a new video of a soon too be new kayaking set up. How hasn't any company wanted too pair up with this awsome fisherman.
Agreed!!!
Christ be with you my brother. Much love.
the bob ross of fishing love ur vids brother
New fan and a new video nice , been watching lot of the older videos loves the channel . Got me hungry for fishing again
I was going just to observe that looked like a great spot for an Old Fashioned Black Jitter Bug & Boom Spook pulls a decent one in on the second cast
I watch these videos and wish we had freshwater Bass in the UK, look like such good sport to fish for.
Babe wake up, new NDYakAngler vid just dropped 😎😎😎
Many of those dead trees look like they were sawn off. Great looking lake.
I’d imagine the DNR or someone probably cut some down to prevent them from falling and creating floating debris for boats to hit.
Nothin better than fog rising and topwater crashing!
You’re my hero dude
