  • We finished up and dyno the 3.2 VR6 swap we did in this MK1 Rabbit Truck (Caddy). This ends the 3 part miniseries. You definitely don't want to take this thing for granted out on the street. Power to weight wins with this MK1s.

    The old TT with the Borla??? I remember when TT and autotech were some of the only vw/ audi tuners. Its physically impossible to make a vr sound bad. Man do I miss mine! Great work on the swap. The ecu relocation to the interior is good for piece of mind instead of worry about it possibly swimming in the raintray. Caddy's rock.

    That old truck should have a 1.8t or 2.0t. 300+ hp to the wheels easy but not sure it could handle it! That VR6 tho..always sound killer.

    Nice truck! Was this running performance software or immo delete? I would have expected around 210 stock.

    • @COMotorsports

      Most definitely is running both. No way it would work in this car without it.

  • @brandonb2985

    Question! Are you guys running the stock a3 returless fuel rail to a fuel filter with a built in fpr? I'm looking to run a 3.2 touareg engine I'm prepping for my mk2, and was considering using the stock return less fuel system (mk4 r32 fuel rails are becoming harder to come by, so I'm looking at my alternatives). Can I run a returnless system on an mk4 r32 ecu? I've found very little information on going this route, everyone always seems to run a return and fpr in the bay.

    • @COMotorsports
      @COMotorsports  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      This swap was from a WE which was returnless, which is how we ran this car (with proper filter/FPR.

    Do you happen to have note of what wires are used from the 3.2 harness? And what they wire into on the mk1 doing the same swap rn

    • @COMotorsports
      @COMotorsports  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Each on is slightly different, depends on chassis the engine came out of. We generally just work through the harness per application.

Transmission I’m getting is refurbished $1500. Limited slip is $900. Labor to install is $3000 not including extra tuning. Definitely not cheap but I’m going for it..
