ever wonder what the differences are with these? well heres what I've managed to gather from other owners and the world wide interwebs. mine obviously isn't the most well preserved example so it'll have to do until i can film a better specimen.

I had a red one in the 90’s. I put Subaru brat seats in the back and ended up selling it to a guy that shipped it to the Virgin Islands. Years later while on vacation in USVI i passed a garage and seen it on jack stands with the transmission in a million piece all over the shop floor!! Miss that truck all the time! I only ever see the diesels. That thing was tons of fun!

I had a Silver 1982 Rabbit S.
It had the standard 1.7 cis with freq valve and O2. 5 speed tall gear box, sway bars front and rear.The door panels were almost the as the 83-84 GTI, mine had white stripe instead of chrome stripe. The 82 S had Orange badges on the hatch only.
I enjoy watching all of your videos and have the same passion.

thanks! they are regular mk1 fitment feet and bars but with the wood slats that i added myself.

thanks man! led conversion isn't too popular, personally i swear by hella h4 conversions with added relays. there are the trucklite brand drop in less which a few of my friends have; a bit expensive at like 3-400$ for the pair but the beam cutoff/pattern is real nice and they are super bright so they are worth the price. but again the h4's are my personally recommendation, here's a video i made about the h4's.

yes you want the mk2 recaro power seats/power bases, the very backs of them sit a few inches lower than other seats when you position them all the way down. a rear bubble window will also give your head rest a few extra inches to lean back. when you adjust the power seats al the way down it limits how far back you can recline it.

no. its a heavily modified ABA on carbs. built big valve head with a big cam. turns 8k rpms

J-Customs yeahp! never super pressured to sell it but always throw it up once in a while to see if there are any bites. i’m fairly convinced i’ll be stuck with it for years to come lol.
