- We dyno MK1 Caddy with the AAZ Turbo Diesel before swapping in the 3.2 VR6. We also chuck a set of Scale coilovers, rebuild the 02J transmission with a Peloquin differential and discuss a few items that need to be considered when doing the swap.

I had the old 1.6 diesel in my caddy. The AAZ would have been a powerhouse compared to mine. 🤣 I am much happier with my 2.0 ABA.
Where are you guys located? I own a body shop in Bethlehem PA and we’re getting ready to build an 82 Caddy. We’ve got an 03 Gli with a 24v and 6 speed as the donor car. I’m having second thoughts about the 6 sp. looks like everyone uses the O2j 5 sp.
Located on Eastcoast of Canada. Most due yes as the 6spd is a much larger trans comparably.

Great video, doing my homework to get everything needed to do a VR6 3.6 on my S2. Can A/C compressor be used? Since I live in Arizona would really be nice to have it during the summer. Where can I source the adapter you used on the fuel line? Thank you
If you're referring to an Audi S2 then it will be a completely different swap from this.

I'll be swapping a 2.8 24v into my mk2, I have a 02A trans and would like the mk4 shift box, do you know what kind of shift tower should I put in my 02A?
Thanks! You’ll want a 02J shift tower in the 02A. Bolts right in. Good luck with your swap!

The owner has flipped the switch on me and we're going quite a bit crazier with the build now. More to come as parts arrive.

i have a 2002 vw golf 2.0 automatic but i also have a mk3 vr6 2.8l gti manual. would a swap be a bolt on from mk3-mk4? or what other things would i have to do to make a swap like that work?
The MK3 VR6 block doesn't have the provisions in it to bolt into a mk4. You'd need a mk4 VR block.
