When he yelled at Bob to get out of the car and it wasn't even words anymore kills me every time..
One of the funniest parts of any movie very relatable 😂
Saaaaammme!
Richard Dreyfuss killed it on this role.
Get out lalalala!
Getouttadagaaaaaahhh!!!
"Gone?! He's never gone!"
"Is this some kind of new therapy?"
"SEE?!"
And: "GETOUDADAACAAAAGAHGAHHHH!!"
😂😂 so classic 😂😂
I lost my co-pilot today, and I honestly didn't think I was capable of smiling, let alone laughing out loud. Thank you, J, for spreading your joy and infectious laughter into the world. You don't even know how much you mean to your heathens.❤
Condolences to you. Take time to heal then share all that love with another co-pilot. So many need us.
Sorry for your loss friend. They'll be at the Rainbow Bridge for you :)
I'm so sorry 😔 they are family for sure. Hang in there
Condolences to you. I lost one of my co-pilots on July 2. I now have a trainee co-pilot, 4 months old and a quick learner. As long as we remember them, they are not gone.
Incredibly sorry for your loss ❤
This movie is even funnier watching a second time knowing that Richard Dreyfus hates Bill Murray to this day and he wasnt really acting the hate by the end of the movie.
Oh wow! I never knew that
It really drives his performance to perfection. I think Bill might have taken his role too far and tried to annoy Dreyfus on set, but he should thank him because it elevates the movie to classic level.
yeah, it's well-known that bill murray is one of the most difficult people in hollywood to work with.
Murray is funny in this but it’s Richard Dreyfus who the funniest 💯
You’re going to love this movie
Bill Murray is known for crashing parties, weddings, any event. There are many videos on YT of him just showing up in some random person's house and doing the dishes during a party, or crashing a wedding photography session and sitting in for a few pictures. Very cool guy,
Bill Murray came to this small diner my sister-in- law worked at. He was very nice and posed for pictures. His son went to a University near here.
“Is this some radical new therapy?” Cracks me up every time.
Same! I have loved this movie since it came out 😂 always a favorite.
J needs to take baby steps when watching this video.
😂😂😂😂❤
Bob is like a stray dog that wants to be your friend. Sometimes we all need to accept love when it arrives.
I totally agree, I love this movie. One of my favorite scenes is when Leo yells at Bob at the dinner table and then takes a huge bite out of that chicken leg, all stressed out. 🤣🤣Dreyfus did a great job. Watching Leo slowly unravel is hilarious.
“Would you stop that, please!”😂😂😂
The girl you recognized is the female lead in Airplane. She played the stewardess who blew the autopilot.
The best part of your reaction was your changing from hating Bob to hating Dr Martin.
"Blew the auto-pilot" is such a great comment 😂😂
Julie Haggerty. Old school SNL alumni along with Bill.
I worked at the theater when this came out, and I still laugh out loud at this movie 😂
I highly recommend “Analyze This”
And then to complete the psychiatric comedies... Dream Team.
I love this movie. It's a perfect example of how anyone can overcome their problems, or completely lose their sanity in a very short period of time.
Yes, it sucks that it wasn’t a bigger movie. It certainly deserved to be
Dr. Leo Marvin: "July 31, Bob Wiley, introductory interview. Multi-phobic personality characterized by an extreme need for family connections." He ends up being 100% correct!!
killroy: And while he still failed to understand the diagnosis he gave Bob, it really is inappropriate to have a personal relationship with your therapist. haha
Leo: "Thanks for playing!"
Bob: "Bet?"
"Try to relax."
"I'm relaxed."
"Take a vacation."
"I'm OONNN VACATION!!" 😂😂😂
The director of this film was Frank Oz.
You know him as Yoda or Miss Piggy. Another great comedy he directed was "Dirty Rotten Scoundrels".
You have to watch it!
The Blues Brothers - "One prophylactic, unused...."
The story of a villainous psychiatric patient that cons his way into the personal life of his psychiatrist, drives him mad, and embeds himself into his family while chipping away at his psychiatrist's life until he loses his mind, his dignity, and his vacation house.
And then marries his sister!😂
Have you seen the TH-cam video which recuts the trailer as a psychological thriller? Hilarious.
@@zatoichi1I'm going to look that up. Because, let's face it, a slight change in tone and dialogue, and it can be a thriller or horror. haha
This movie is in my top 10 of all time. Very underrated so I couldn't wait to see ur reaction. I laughed until I cried with you, but when Bob said, "so you want me to leave," and your M Whistle Classic headtilt had me rolling. Great Reaction!
Yes, this is one of the movies that’s underrated. It should’ve been bigger than what it was… it didn’t get the attention or credit that Ghostbusters or Groundhog Day were
I absolutely love the Bloodsport shirt ❤
I was just thinking "now I need a Bloodsport t-shirt" 🔥
He could deal with giant man-eating shark in the ocean, but he couldn't deal with Bob on the lake.
I don't know too many people who have heard about this one, so it's a pleasant surprise to see this one here.
I looooove this movie, it's a hidden gem in comedy 😂 Can't wait to see your reaction
I didn’t know until now that Kathryn Erbe was Anna Marvin cuz I never really paid that much attention to her but her voice is now recognizable now that she’s apart of the law and order universe
"Honey, they're just kids being kids.", about their little boy and Bob is my favorite line!
8:31 Neil Diamond has written some of the top pop songs for other singers. He's probably best known for his song Sweet Caroline.
and being terrible
@@BrettShadow terribly successful . . . he's written and recorded 10 #1 singles and is 26th on the list of best selling artist of all-time.
@@CroMagJohnson He is garbage. Overrated no talent yeast infection rock music
i seen this as a teen in '91. Even now now, 32 yrs later, I still tell ppl "Baby steps, Bob. Baby steps"
"I will not participate in this" gets me every time, J! 😂😂
The bust in Dr. Marvin's office was Sigmund Freud, not himself, and he brought it to the vacation home with him for the interview.
I think you thought Bob said, "For the first time since Evelyn, I feel free," because you started talking about Bob ever having a girlfriend. He didn't. He said, "For the first time since Eselin, I feel free." Eselin was a powerful anti-psychotic drug no longer on the market.
Well, you _had_ to be wide awake early Saturday morning, because of _cartoons!_
I love this movie and your reaction was great!!
Esalen is a place in California known for its hot springs and different therapies.
@@lisaspikes4291 Eselin the psychoactive drug and Esalen a spa resort both make sense in his context, but I lean just a bit more toward your homophone than mine.
When this movie came out on VHS everyone bought it! Still a great movie that your entire family can watch. Unfortunately family movie like this don't exist anymore.
Later testicle head, bosom beaver! LMAO God this movie is such a classic. Richard Dreyfuss steals the show every time Dr. Marvin blows a gasket, especially at the mental hospital. I also love the Guttmans, they hate Dr. Marvin soooo much LOL
Directed by the guy who voiced Yoda(and Foxzy, etc.)
Neil Diamond's best known song is "Sweet Caroline " .
I've only watched this movie once and it was at the movie theater. Bob made me so angry that I was pissed off during the movie. It's pretty amazing when actors and directors can evoke such an emotional response in a move... they did their jobs well.
Yes, I’m not sure if you knew this but Bill Murray intentionally tried to piss off Richard Dreyfuss behind the scenes. But Bill Murray is an asshole anyway
Leo? Is that really you?
Dreyfuss was sublime
This is an absolute comedy classic. Richard Dreyfuss is brilliant in this!!!!!😂❤
GET OUTTA LALALALA!!!! 😂🤣😆
@JL Low key this has always been one of my top 25 comedy's, just several laugh out loud moments and amazing acting from the entire cast
"That's right! Put your foot dow......Bob is stupid!" That instant transition had my stomach hurting!!!!
"oh! Bob an asshole!" I can see it now. 😂
Random movie request... Overboard with Kurt Russell and Goldie Hawn please...I'd love to see that reaction!
This brings me right back to my 90s childhood. “Bob. Bob! BOB! Wake up BOB!”
I forgot to mention. Dr. Is Richard Dreyfus, JAWS, CLOSE ENCOUNTERS OF THE THIRD KIND, THE GOOD BYE GIRL, and a few more . ❤❤❤
Rosencrantz & Guildenstern are Dead
That 'gotta go to work' and he steps 3 feet to his desk has to resonate with a lot of us now.
Sad part is there is ppl out there that JUST DONT GET IT!!! Super Funny movie!!!
One of mine & my grown children's favorite movies. No matter where or when, if we hear the name Bob, one or all of us say "what about Bob?"
Awesome Movie and Work Bro, Thanks 👍👍👍👍👍 Greetings from Helsinki, Finland 🇫🇮🇺🇸🇫🇮🇺🇸🇫🇮🇺🇸
J’s laugh has become therapeutic for me 😅
You gotta see "Stripes" "the man who knew too little" and "caddyshack " all funny Bill Murray movie
All of those movies you mentioned were bigger than this movie
Hey, I just realized that Janice from the Sopranos is the ho that calls pretending to be Dr. Marvin's sister.
Bob ?!...oh heck no !...🤣...
I'm a Dr Leo...intrusive crazy folks like that would never know where I went..gone !..lol... I would divorce my whole family..😁...
Hi J..hi Blank.hi Friend who does the thumbnails..(Sean ?)..👋👋...
Always a treat..see ya soon..🌿🌿🌿
"Buttholes and fingertips everywhere! What you doin'?" LOLOL
Esselyn was a self realization program that was popular in the 1970s. That’s what Bob was talking about at 15:56, it was not a woman’s name.😂😂
Great movie - best line: 'death therapy Bob, death therapy'
Top five movies of all time. At least for me😅.
This is one of my favorite movies. For me Bill is very funny but Richard steals the movie always has me cracking up when I watch this.
I thought this said "the blob". Lol. I'd heavily recommend the Steve McQueen blob as part of your Halloween movies. It's gross and amazing.
I think you would enjoy "Down and out in Beverly hills" and "Ruthless People".
16:04 If you think this is "the most 'Bill Murray' movie you've ever seen," then you really need to see the movie "The Man Who Knew Too Little." THAT movie is as "Bill Murray" a movie as you will ever see. It is non-stop laughter for the entire run time. Other than Ghostbusters, that is my most favorite Murray movie.
b4 we even start ur gonna crack up. this is one of my favorie movies. bill murray is an icon im proud 2 share his last name. this is gonna make me go watch it again
The actress who played the wife was also in the movie Airplane as the love interest and one of the stewardesses.
A uniquely funny movie that didn't really get much attention starring Bill Murray is "Quick Change."Also has Geena Davis and Randy Quaid, plus a shit-ton of random cameos.
Bob said “I haven’t felt this free since Esalen” which is a hippie retreat in California apparently. Love your reactions keep up the good vibes 🙌
Richard Dreyfus' role as Elliot Garfield in "The Goodbye Girl" (1977) won him the Academy Award for Best Actor.
"Goodbye Doesn't Mean Forever" song by David Gates 🎶
LOVED this movie as a kid. Absolutely hilarious.
This was one of my favorite movies growing up. Every part is hilarious
This is one of those movies that gets funnier every time you watch it. Even now I catch things I never noticed before. Love the reactions, love the channel!!!
Seriously. You watch the best movies. So great ❤️🇨🇦
As an orderly in a state asylum we had orientation for a month. We had movies we'd watch like girl interrupted, one flew over the cukoos nest, etc. What about Bob shows Bill Murray as a obsessive compulsive disorder and Dr Marvin is showing many traits of Narcissistic Personality Disorder
Which was fun cause I loved this movie as a kid
Bill Murray not only has received and showed up to fans invites to birthday parties or events
One of my favorites had him go behind a bar and bartend all night and no matter what anyone ordered he'd pour them tequila shots
I LOVE this movie! I’ve not seen it in years… great choice! So funny …Bill Murray was so good in this movie but Richard Dreyfus was insanely good 😂
It’s a feel good movie ❤️
Bob doesn't get to socialize immersive with safeness
This movie is underrated. People always react to Groundhog Day. I think this movie is a lot funnier.
Salute to the Gutmans! Hugh Aldedge 1928-2011 and Susan Willis 1925-2009. The petty couple who helped make this a great movie! An example of the old saying that there are no such things as small parts!
I was so excited to see that you reacted to this movie! It's great! Ever since the first time I watched it, whenever I hear the name Bob, I think to myself " Bob? Not Bob! AAAAHHHH!" I still love this movie. Glad you enjoyed it.
My family and I use lines from this movie all the time. Especially "baby steps to the bus!"
My husband has tried waking me up before yelling, "Cockadoodle doo!" the way Leo does. Pisses me off and makes me laugh at the same damn time.
I was only 10 when my family went to this at the theater at the time, We loved it and saw it again the next day.
"You think he's gone? He's not gone. That's the whole point! He's never gone!"
"Is this some radical new therapy?"
"YOU SEE?"
Fun Fact: Julie Hagerty is only ten years older than Kathryn Erbe, who played her daughter.
Location Location Fact: The vacation house where this was filmed was actually in Virginia on Smith Mountain Lake. For the scene in which the house blows up, producers used a 3/4-sized model replica of the actual house that they detonated on a nearby lot.
Financial Success Fact: Director Frank Oz was very concerned the film would flop as he, Bill Murray and Richard Dreyfuss all had different opinions on what would make the movie truly funny. However the film turned out to be a surprising critical and commercial success and was Touchstone Pictures second highest grossing comedy of the year after Father Of The Bride (1991).
Apologies. I fell asleep right as you uploaded the video. I really wanted to be at the premiere, honest! 😢
Go in Peace and Walk with God. 😎 👍
My family's been watching this movie for years. Glad you checked it out. Also "baby steppin' in her drawers" is a great line hahaha
This film has been in my top5 Murray films since it first hit cable in the 90s. I can't say enough great things about it. J, loved your reaction to the ppl watching the baby step to 4o'clock 🐡
He is attentive to reality because it can slip out if his grasp
You killed this one like you always do... please keep them coming.
I have 2 Richard Dreyfuss suggestions I'm sure you'll love:
Stakeout 1 & 2
AND
Let it Ride (one of my all time favorites)
One of my favorites....watch it every year
One of my all time favorite movies; thank you!! Nobody ever reacts to this one, and I'm glad you did.
Not buttholes and fingertips!!! I'm dead! 😂😂😂
This is such a great film. Rumor has it that Richard Dreyfus really couldn’t stand Bill Murray. Their personality types just clash.
As always, great reaction. Thanks for what you do. May your views and likes always be equal.
jeanine: Way back, when Dreyfuss was still a struggling actor, he worked with my mother. She said he was The Nicest Person. Here's a story she told me:
There was a woman who was a coworker that had a few problems. Divorced, kids, stressed, and came off as off center, strange.
People would make fun of her behind her back. But, others were nice to her. Dreyfuss was one of those people. So nice that he asked her out on a date.
They only went out once or twice, but it was friendly and it really helped her. She seemed to get better after that because she was more open to talking to the people who were nice to her. It seems Dreyfuss might've encouraged her to be more open to people who understood what she was going through. It worked.
So, every time we watched a movie with Dreyfuss in it, my mother would tell this story.
Murray, on the other hand, has a Lot of stories of him being an a-hole on set, sarcastic and rude to fans, and a jerk in general. I never met him, so I don't know if it's true
Thank you Shawn!
Now you HAVE to watch Captain Ron. (Kurt Russell and Martin Short)
Oooh yess good one, classic!
This, along with Fletch, Funny Farm and Quick Change are some of my favorite comedies from that period.
"Buttholes and fingertips"!😂😂
Hey,, great reaction to a FUNNY movie!
If you going to watch more Bill Murray, " Kingpin " is for sure right up your "Alley " !! And Bills' hair in Kingpin =💯🔥
P.S. your laugh is infectious 😂❤
Have you watched Dirty Rotten Scoundrels with Steve Martin and Michael Caine? Classic, perfect comedy!
That also came to mind as it was also directed by Frank Oz, I like that one even more. Oz was big part of Jim Henson's Muppets. He voiced Miss Piggy, Fozzie Bear, Animal, and Sam Eagle on The Muppet Show (1976-1981), and Cookie Monster, Bert, and Grover on Sesame Street (1969-2013).
Frank Oz is an amazing director
This and Groundhog Day are my favorite comedies. They stand the test of time. Thanks for the video!
This movie is hilarious, unless you're a therapist, then it's a horror movie.
I'm so bummed I missed the premiere and the chat fam today!
I'm just now sitting down to watch this reaction and I'm stoked for the giggles to follow! As always...much love and laughter from Oregon.☺💚
Oh ! Oh ! Oh !...Blank !...
Gotta suggestion for you...
💥...The Commuter...Liam Neeson
Bet ya haven't seen that one..😁...
🌿🌿🌿
I laughed when you mentioned Dr. Leo's clean beard line because I simultaneously commented on the same thing. But man, you ought to go to a barber shop and have them dudes hook you up! You got a good beard to work on, that sucker is dense! Am I right, people? The barber knows how to cut those lines to go with your face. It could be a game-changer!
Hell yeah! I love this film. Thanks for the reaction!
Movie directed by Frank Oz. The voice behind Fozzie The Bear, Miss Piggy and Yoda.
Frequency is a great movie.
The shadow becomes the man..the man becomes a shadow
