@Lenn thanks so much! Yes, I love me some Small Munsterlander! She has great prey drive and is a real sweetheart. She wasn't trained by the best (me) but she puts in the effort for sure.
I love mine! As for waterfowl, she isn’t as gung-ho as a lab...she works her way into the water, none of that dock dock leaping for her. Not sure if they are all like that though. I love having a versatile breed!
Hi DG, I got her from Herzcoff kennel (Herzcoff Bird Dogs?) unfortunately Melissa Herz passed away a couple years ago! All her dogs were placed with new owners. 😢
Guys that’s the kind of hunt video I’d be pleased to see more of… real hunters, a dog trained by a real hunter instead of farmed out to a pro, a few calls that might sound like mine have been rumored to sound like, and yet still enough birds to call it fun. Really enjoyed seeing the dog have some fun - I’ve been looking for a Small Munsterlander pup to join me in my hunting and paddling adventures and seeing yours work gives me a good sense that they can find some fun in water work. Enjoy another good hunt or three this year as well!
Uncle Jerry missed, he missed bad... 😂 Well, that's all part of the hunt, I like seeing that kind of details in hunting videos! 👍
Lol, we had a great time giving each other grief!
@@SaltWaterSalmon speak for yourself. I was traumatized and cried all the way home.
@@mofekka 🙄🤣🤦🏻♂️

Yes sir!!!
Awesome video! I live in Ontario, Or and will have my first small munsterlander coming home in April. This just makes me all the more excited!
That's Awesome! Our girl has tons of prey drive. It's great having a versatile hunting breed!
That was a ball watching this video. Almost like I was there.
Thanks Royce! You will be soon enough!
Wish you could have been. I got my start duck hunting with you. Good times.
The production of this video is so cool, thanks, i want to hunt duck as well. I also really want a small munsterlander or a working cocker for this!

Nice dog, nice hunt. Have fun!
Thanks! I can't wait to get her out this year. Just picked up my Federal duck stamp about an hour ago!
New sub here. Dog did great! Good job guys!
Thanks Reef Robber!
@@SaltWaterSalmon you’re welcome. Also feel free to check out my channel if you care to.
Making me jealous Quin!!!!
Awesome footage, I’m looking into getting a Small Munsterlander for duck hunting myself.

What blind were you guys in? I hunt the refuge a few times a year.
I'm pretty sure that was 15. Let me go verify on the map...
@@SaltWaterSalmon Thats what I was thinking, we hunted there mid Dec. and their were tons of mallards! They were big dudes too, small geese size!
I was wondering what kennel you got your dog from?
