Well we totally love ours! Probably any dog you will love…lol. Our SM lives indoors with us…and she sheds something fierce! Gotta have a Roomba to keep up with it! This season will be her 7th in the field. She turned 8 in June.
@@bassinontheelkhart4871 unfortunately very little, we stumbled upon the breed and the breeder we bought from has since passed away. Many folks held her program in high regard. Her name is (was) Melissa Herz. She had Herzcoff Gun Dogs, then Herz Gun Dogs after she separated from her partner. If you could find dogs from her line I would get one. I’m really not sure where her dogs ended up though. Her Kennel was in Powell Butte Oregon.

HEY don't give away the secret to getting access!!! I always carry wine/beer/cheese in my rig too in case I want to go knock and talk. Works FAR more than you'd think!
Retrievers are always soft mouths, in so they hold the retrieve so softly they have to reposition their hold of the bird. They are not chewing it up !! They are getting a better grip.
After thinking about your comment and remembering what my birds look like when I clean them, I must say I don’t recall any additional damage I can attribute to her gnawing on them. Thanks for the lesson!
She's getting worse @@arnoldlayne9469! She's old and grouchy Lol. In June she'll be 10 y/o and this past season I had several birds that had torn up breasts...several dogs were present but I do think it was her...
Hey Riley, thanks for watching. I use GoPro, this one was with the Hero9 in 4K. This is only the second time I've uploaded a 4K video. Due to the strain on my laptop, I had been filming/editing 1080p but that doesn't cut it anymore...IMO. I believe TH-cam compresses (or something) all uploads so 1080p isn't really 1080p anymore...neither is 4k but it is of course better....Cheers.
Hey, great question! So I got her from Herz Gun Dogs in Powell Butte....unfortunately Melissa Herz passed away a few years ago! I really don't what happened with her dogs...they got scattered amongst friends I bet... River is now 8+ and I want another one!
LOL you talk about how can shoot across a dirt road because there is no access on that road in your other video. 3:30 Here you are shooting across a highway now.
@@mofekka I had to cut out the footage of me killing the semi diver. His tractor-trailer unit skidded off the bridge just ahead and exploded in a fiery ball of toxic gasses. I’m really glad the cops never found out!

So I bought a Skydio2 drone that tracks a beacon I had in my pocket….once I launch it, it’s basically fully autonomous!
