- Diah Mutiara Sukmawati Sukarnoputri, the third daughter of Indonesia’s founding father Sukarno has stirred controversy again. At 70 years of age old Sukmawati has converted to Hinduism. Sukmawati’s decision appears to be influenced by her late Balinese grandmother Ida Ayu Nyoman Rai Srimben.

@@schatz998 many things are similar in Balinese & Indian Hinduism & few things are different. Indian Hindus never eat beef. Mostly Indian Hindus avoid to eat meat. They prefer to eat vegetarian food. Most importantly, in Bali they have so much religious ceremonies.. In India.. Not much religious ceremony in comparison to Balinese Hindus but our routes are same.. & I am proud of them.

No such thing as conversion in Sanathana Dharma (Hinduism), you can only revert back to the origin. That means, before any religion, there was only Sanathanam (Eternal way of life). You simple become Sanatani by not associating yourself with any religion 😊 🙏. So so proud to call myself as Sanatani.

Biarkn sja, itu urusn pribadi ibu sukmawati, tntang pindah ke agama hindu. Toh agama hindu trmasuk agama2/keyakinan2 yg diakui/terakreditasi sah di nkri, yg brazaskan pancasila. Nkri bukan negara yg brazaskan satu agama (sprti negara2 di timur tengah, msalnya), tpi brazaskan pancasila. Jngan mmprovokasi sara, krn indonesia sngat beragam dlam hal sku, agama, ras, & adat-istiadat.
Kita tak bisa mnilai pribadi sseorang dari sdut pndang satu kyakinan/agama sja, tpi "suka tak suka" & "mau tak mau", kita harus mnilai sseorang dari "sdut pndang" "pancasila"
Juga sseorang brpindah/brganti kprcayaan, itu bukan suatu "kejahatan" atau "bukan tndak kriminal", asalkn agama/kprcayaan yg baru dianut, msih agama2/kprcayaan2 yg "diiakui sah atau terakreditasi" di nkri, jdi sekali lagi gunakan sdut pndang scara "azas pancasila", "bukan sdut pndang" dari "satu agama/kprcayaan" trtentu sja.
Ada yg branggapan bhwa sseorang dng kprcayaan/kyakinan tertentu, mka perilaku orang tsb akn "lbih baik" & "lbih innocent'". Apa nytanya dmikian? Lihat itu kasus2 sprti a.l.
-pmbunuhan ibu & anak di subang, purwakarta yg hingga kini msih blum trpecahkan;
-lihat itu ksus pngembang perumahan yg mlarikan diri & juga mmbawa lari uang calon2 pmbeli rumah, pdhal pngembang tsb mmbawa2 nama agama/syariah:
-lihat itu ksus ayah yg mmperkosa 3 anak kndungnya sndiri di sulawesi;
-lihat itu ksus oknum2 polisi yg mncabuli istri trsangka ksus narkoba;
-lihat itu suami yg mmbunuh istri sirinya;
-lihat itu cowok yg mmbunuh pacarnya yg sdang hamil, krn tak mau tnggung jawab, lalu jenazahnya dibuang kbun bmbu;
-lihat itu bayi2 yg lahir hasil hubungan gelap, lalu dibuang atau dbunuh;
-dll msih bnyak contoh2nya
Jdi ksimpulannya adalah perilaku "baik/buruk sseorang" "tak ada kaitannya/hubungannys" dng "kprcayaan/kyakinan yg dianut".
Jdi "siiapapun", dng "kepercayaan/keyakinan apapun", bisa sja mlakukan tindak kjahatan/kriminal
Suatu hal yg pnting itu trkait dng kepindahan agama ibu sukmawati ke hindu, "ketua umum muhamadiyah" mlah mmberi "respons/ tnggapan positif" yaitu dng brkata ("kalo tak salah"): "tak usah trlalu dirisaukan", krn "itu suatu hal yg personal/brsifat pribadi" & "itu sdah jdi pilihan/kptusan ibu sukmawati", "srmoga ibu sukmawati dberi ketenangan/kbahagian/kdamaian/dll harapan positif".
Jdi ksimpulannya: "tirulah beliau" (ketua muhsmadiyah) yg brpikiran "tak emosional"/"tak mnilai dari sdut pndang kprcayaan/keyakinan trtentu", tpi beliau mmandang dari sdut pndang "azas pancasila" di nkri".
Dianjurkan kita2 yg wni di nkri yg "berazas pancasila" supaya mngikuti "sikap/respons/tnggapan positif" beliau tsb ("ketua muhamadiah")
