Damn I'm not Indian. I am Caribbean but I so love that response " we dont have to make appointments to meet our parents"
We share the same sentiment
Oh I love carribbean Islands atleast once i have to come over there and partying hard with carribbeans as they really love to enjoy patties 😛
I am also from the caribbean. I am 30 years old, and my parents and little brother live with me. This year, I bought the house that we have been renting for over 10 years. We are together and taking care of each other still.
I’m Mexican and I can relate. A lot of other countries too, we kinda of don’t make it a normality to just move out and what not. We can if we want, but there’s nothing wrong with living with them if that’s what you want. Or them living with you. We value family very much idk if it’s like that for other countries as well, but I do see it often.
As an arab I agree with you sir
@varunrastogi9379 I have to be specific. I am not exactly carribbran. I am more south America but people don't understand this. We are a part of CARICOM. I am from Guyana 🇬🇾 but because of that connection. We share exactly the same culture as the people who actually live in the actual Caribbean. We have a habit of referring to ourselves as Caribbean people due to culture but only Caribbean and Guyanese people seem to truly understand that
The US audience was very supportive when she said we don't have to take appointment to meet our parents 😂
Yeah very supportive wen he muttered n all had a good laugh ,but unfortunately it didn't last long 😅😂
Muslims must boycott Bollywood because they support Zionism
I don't get that as late night talk show hosts are always joking around. Am sure the common question to ask a person from eastern countries is living with parents. It's not meant to irritate anybody, Americans also have joint families. But a Seinfeld episode explains it best that adults who stay with their parents are not married and not stable in professional life. All kinds of jokes are made about.
Respect goes both ways..
She was being gentle and polite.. Untill the sarcasm 😂

So intelligent that she doesn't know that there's no national language of India
@@CaptainLEVIasArkhamKnightevery nation has their national language(s), then why not Indians? OR maybe you people indulged into foreign languages (i.e: English, French, Spanish, German & Italian etc.) so much, that you are afraid/ashamed to recognize your own native tongue/language(s) I guess.
@@Mjr.Nuke-Hazard_089 it's because India has the most languages compared to any other country. It will be unfair to other languages. He was trying hard to make her look dumb but she was so fluent and spontenous with her answers that made him startle, I wish to ve this kinda confidence

I can't believe all the Indians on here convinced Dave Letterman was trying to insult the guest or make her look dumb. Strange culture you all have where everything is an insult. He's just playing around - it's not a big deal to be mildly irreverent in a playful way in the West. We don't take ourselves that seriously.
@@wandertreeoh so you people never take yourself very seriously huh? Beneath that absolutely gorgeous figure she resides in, there is an even better personality she has developed. What a great answer to the question about living with the parents ! I can't understand how she was able to grasp the insult hidden in the question and then give back the insult with her answer so quickly. A proud ambassador for India. Ah yes, an innocuous question about mere cultural differences - insult. Let's give it to those Western bastards with their sly ugly manners. I’m not India, but in our culture we love to stay with our parents and taking care of our parents like they did when we were young,we don’t take our parents to housing homes for elderly like Americans do to their parents…it’s like God gave us blessings by looking after our own family and their happiness..
For the record Western society (especially the America) is built on the notion/ideology of endless greed and selfishness, give & take (just like a business deal/transaction), a place where kids move out of their parent's home after turning 18 to earn and live life for their own selves (on his/her own terms & conditions), rather than compromising or sacrificing their wishes/dreams for the sake of their elders or loved ones, and that's one of the reasons why marriages and family system doesn't last longer & forever in western countries, and why those nations have such a high divorce rate.
