To be honest I would had done the same if I was doing an ironman run, the arena doesn't give you time to think about yielding. But once again, I wouldn't risk throwing a main character in.
Well Lyn can double the pirate so she could have won. And besides, she had 100% chance to hit so it would have been done if he did not leave the arena.
He had no way of knowing Lyn was doubling the pirate at that point. Pirates often have pretty impressive speed, and that's not even considering the outrageously bullshit units that can generate in the arena. He would be gambling everything on the pirate being more than 4 speed under Lyn, and the 33 displayed hit (20 true hit) failing to connect. You don't get very far into Ironman runs by casually risking a 20% chance at a game over for some measley experience points and gold.
Leif at least has a personal sword with 1-2 range. With how obnoxious the early manster chapters are, he can be a decent combat unit with the stat boosters you can get. Contrast that to Lyn who's basically unsuseable on her join chapter in HHM.... Wellllllll

Eliwood had so much hit on the guy. Nobody would have done what you're saying because hitting that Sleep is even far less unlikely than hitting with a 95% hit rate. Moreover, this is double RNG so that 95 was really close to 100. It was just bad luck that Eliwood missed not bad tactics.

Eliwood had so much hit on the guy. Nobody would have done what you're saying because hitting that Sleep is even far less unlikely than hitting with a 95% hit rate. Moreover, this is double RNG so that 95 was really close to 100. It was just bad luck that Eliwood missed not bad tactics.

@@Fraudkuna Impossible. Canas had already moved before Eliwood even attacked. Plus, had Canas missed that Sleep before healing Eliwood, Mangs would not only have to worry about Zephiel he'd also have to worry about Eliwood dying.

Also he could’ve moved Canas, attempted to sleep from close range, then attacked with eliwood if it missed. So yes. It was bad tactics. It was a bad play in a tense situation. Only difference from the rest of the deaths is that this one caused a game over.
@@GobaGNon It wasn't bad tactics. Eliwood was also not at full health so even if it did work out the way you say it would have there was still a big chance that Eliwood could have died instead. Moreover, Moving Lyn close does solve the problem but is not something you or anyone else would have done considering that Eliwood had, in true hit, literally 99.55% on the Hero. It wasn't bad tactics. It's simply bad luck. If you say that you would have moved Lyn before Eliwood then I'm sorry man but you're probably just talking out of your ass.

each time he sells his member card for secret shop access like at 9:40 or when he finished the chapter before recruiting a unit never gets old, even for a thousand year it makes me laugh at 100% chance, mistakes happens nobody is perfect, i'm not laughing because of his mistake but his reaction that makes my day, hang it there Egg, you learn from your mistakes thats how you get better in FE series, everyone can improve if they want to
