To be honest, the very ending itself is tragic. Zephiel murders every last member of Roy's army in cold blood, until he kills Roy himself. The young lord tried everything, losing all his allies down to his childhood friends on the way, only to fall at the very end to the man who took everything from him, regret pouring out of him together with his life, slowly escaping his body. Not only that, little Fae, completely defenseless, unable to aid in any way, watches in horror as the last person dear to her falls on the floor, cold. Then, Zephiel himself approaches her, a dragon, covered in blood of the young lord, and bows to the higher being, while the poor dragon child is scarred for the rest of her life, however short it might be with Idunn looming in the darkness.
I really appreciate how he lost no units in chapter 7 - one of the hardest maps in the game showing great skill, however immediately loses a Knight Crest and Barth in the slower and easier next chapter
I'm pretty sure Lot was full health and could have fully protected Barth from the Armour slayer with no risk of death. So it was completely preventable even after failing to check enemy inventories

Hum, you mean the opposite right ? The most unique thing about this series (that makes it stand out compared of the other tactical RPG) is the units/characters' permanent death but here is the proof that this feature is just for show : it doesn't even bring a strategic aspect to the game (this would be a brilliant idea if it worked). Most people will reset anyway but even if you lose some units you can win which means there is pretty much no difficulty in the long run. The only difficulty left is the "tactical" one ... which doesn't really exist because of the dumb IA and the fact that you often have units with broken stats. If there is no challenge, then I don't need to master the different aspects of the gameplay to win. Consequences : the game is boring but it also means that there might be depth to the gameplay of this game but I would never know it.
@HighWay Star Yeah the first FE are special. They were designed with the idea that you could lose some units and it's no big deal but at the same time are very poorly balanced with most of the recrutable units that are literally useless because of their weak base stats and bad growth rates (if you give me units to replace some the ones I lost at least don't make them with worse base stats that the ones I get earlier). Is FE12 like FE11 ? I think the vast majority were his fault the fact he forgets to check his units at the beginning of a turn cost him Marcus, Leaving a single unit in a hoard of enemies is just asking for trouble which is what happen to Shanna he stops caring after the run had already gone to shit and just takes even bigger risks, selling Lot for 20 bucks was hilarious. Dumbest ones of all was Reigh,Rutger, and Roy. He sent his final healer into a horrible situation after using up his last potion, His big brained strats of not killing the physic bishops because he didn't want to fight purge bishops cost him dearly, then the cherry on top was wasting Roy's binding blade trying to get some level ups before the final show down. Edit forgot to mention how fucking dumb Cecilia's death is anyone who has played GBA fire emblem games knows there are fucking reinforcement points and blocking them can prevent disasters. The stairs are the most fucking obvious reinforcement points, not covering them is asking for bad news. Anyways Mangs is fine as long as he takes his time plans things out, if its a thing he is doing for entertainment expect no planning and everything to fall apart.
New headcannon: just before Roy dies, Guinevere transported him to another world where he encounters many of the same people but everything is different. Thus begins the saga of Roy the Mad from Mang's earlier Civ 5 playthrough.
Watching this man manage his troops reminds me of that Simpsons episode where Lisa keeps adopting cats and they keep dying till the vet says "these cats rather take their chances with the gas chamber than you"
I don't agree. The vast majority of the ambush reinforcements only show up in places where your units likely aren't going to be as a turtling disincentive, which is a good thing. The bad ones like Rutger or Echidna are extremely few in number and otherwise don't detract from the game for me, and are easily avoided on subsequent replays. Meanwhile no matter how many times you play BB, you can't magically become good at dealing with the few terribly overtuned bosses like Dory, Henning and Kel. Dory is just a slow and tedious process of constantly rescue dropping to keep him with his Hand Axe equipped, Henning is a crapshoot if you don't early promote Rutger so you can double him and he can just crit Rutger with a low percent crit at any time and Kel has obscenely high evasion because he has nearly capped Speed and high Luck, making the easiest way of dealing with him just letting him break the Light Brand by waiting for a bunch of turns at 2 range, since he's stuck dealing a fixed 20 damage if he doubles.

I'm just gonna parrot Mekkah and say they were all his fault
what happened when fir died? did chat goad him into doing it or did he think he had picked rutger or something like that?
New headcannon: just before Roy dies, Guinevere transported him to another world where he encounters many of the same people but everything is different. Thus begins the saga of Roy the Mad from Mang's earlier Civ 5 playthrough.
13:03 is the equivalent of doing a flip while you jump off a bridge.
8:25 that's what you get for letting Fir die and having to get Echidna over the legendary Bartre.
Watching this LP was one of the greatest times I've had in a while. It's boring when the player never messes up. We love ya Mangs!
"Good luck getting through here"
Crit: "don't mind if I do"
That Barth clip was amazing!
8:28 Everyone's reaction when Sophia is attacked in Arcadia
Watching this man manage his troops reminds me of that Simpsons episode where Lisa keeps adopting cats and they keep dying till the vet says "these cats rather take their chances with the gas chamber than you"
"Good luck getting through him now boys!"
That merc with the armorslayer: I'm gonna do what's called a pro gamer move.
Sophia dies.
Mangs: "My Guiding Ring!"
Epic.
Fae was the only survivor cuz Zephiel planned to put her in charge of the new dragon-ruled world
His first mistake was trying to "haha funny meme" in an iron man run of FE6 no less. Maybe Mangs will pay attention in the FE7 run...or not 😂
Lance: gets destroyed by unlucky RNG
Also Lance: Lord Roy.... I wish you luck...
Lance wished Roy better luck.
Godforbid mangs keeps Marcus alive for a single Elibe Game
13:02 Garrett just caught it with his head
One death in and Mangs is already in tears...
*This is gonna be good*
The consequences of your hubris washes over you like a golden shower every time.
Imagine if he had even one more unit for that final chapter.
@@ChillstoneBlakeBlast yeah preferably lol
Dragon war may hav ended it even before the chapter begins
Oh man i sure love watching a egg die inside over and over again for 38 minutes and 43 seconds
"38 minutes of internal screeching"
37:44 And so, as foretold, Darkness prevailed, and Light expired...
Ngh! I... I miscalculated...
Poor Sophia didn't even reach the bench...
Please keep doing this Mango! These iron mans are a lot of fun.
Unlike Mekkah, you're constantly challenging yourself in your LP's.
“Wanna see this boss kill with devil axe”
Out of all of them
I think being confident with a devil axe is the biggest pitfall
I think everyone can agree binding blade sudden enemy spawn is the biggest load of bullshit this game gives.
