I’m so glad I picked this Mini up, one of the best sculpts at the moment. You’re tutorial will be used when I did mine as you did it justice .
Awesome 👍🏻
What a gorgeous sculpt and paint job!
Thanks!
Another great video as always!
Thanks!
This looks bloody fantastic!
Thanks!
Considering I already screwed up the building process by making him lean to far forward, I will do what I can
Commander Far-Lean
@@stephen.s5089 I both hate and respect your comment
@@random1ghost819 Sorry I just had to go there 😅 hope it turned out ok in the end 👍 I've made plenty of mistakes myself building and painting Warhammer 🤦♂️
Me too, any suggestions on how to fix this ?
With my tau I just snap it off and re glue it
... lovely!
beautiful paint job mate
Thanks!
Great vid!
Thanks
This video still holds up! I’ve just got my Farsight and was a bit unsure if a few of my colour choices, but your tutorial has just shown me I was right on what I thought I would need so thank you for this!
Sweet
Ah yes, I was hoping this would come along.
Finally
Coach, we need some Seraphon videos in this channel🥺
Maybe maybe when the new ones are released 🤔 I have a busy busy 8 weeks
@@ThePaintingCoach Now your channel and Warhipster are 2 of my favourite channels. Warhammer TV's tutorial quality has dropped a lot after 2 painters left...
Thanks!
what did you do for the base? like the way you did the rock and curious for the branches
Based the rock in a dark blue then dry brushed it up from dark, medium and light grey. I also drybrushed the branches too.
Then I put wyldwood on the branches and dry brushed them with karak stone. The blossom was based with kabalite green, then highlighted with sybarite green and gauss blaster green - hope that helps!
Hi, did you apply the nuln oil on the black parts ?
Anyway, i love your mini !
No I didn't - and thank you!
Great video! Did you prime black first and primed red over the black primer?
I think I went straight with Mephiston Red
When can we get a lion el Johnson tutorial ?
When he is released hopefully!
Damn it put of stock be trying to get this
Hopefully back soon!
Another great tutorial.
Can't wait for when you do the Tyranid tutorial especially that guy with the big brain. Are you going to be doing like a battle ready version of your tutorials also as with mids we're going to have hundreds of little guys to do so quick is the best. And of course the big guy done with all the garnishes of course
Hive fleet leviative ftw
Cheers - I think I'll do a kind of speed painting army tutorial for them all
@@ThePaintingCoach awesome My favorite tutorial yet was good old angron.
Your tutorials are the best as a lot are way too sophisticated with 50 layers of paints, And you need to be Leonardo da Vinci to be able to replicate it. Lol
Yeah plan will be easy and fast :)
@@ThePaintingCoach dry brushing is my best friend quick simple good results.
would it be ok to prime in black and painting the red on? I'm sorry, but I can't be asked to be that steady around the details
Yes might just take a bit longer to paint
Would you suggest soulblight grey for Fire warriors primed with white scar?
Yep 👍🏻
Thank you! Also thank you for being the sole reason I have improved my painting skills so much. @@ThePaintingCoach
Glad it has helped!
Why does everyone always prime him red? Just curious.
Saves base coating him so cuts out a lengthy step 👍🏻
Which works better: rattle can or airbrush?
I used a rattle can for this but I use both - mainly depending on the weather!
Just paint straight lines ..... Yeah that's the problem. 😁
😁
So i really really like how you painted it but i do have to say i think the blue you added kinda takes away from the really clean look
It looks really cheap
You can always go for a different colour or leave it off altogether👍🏻
@@ThePaintingCoach yeab im gonna follow your video cus goddamn did you make it pretty but im gonna see ajd think what ill do to make those look like they give off power/heat
Why does nobody ever show how to paint the Base and the scenery??😓😓
Base is done in a dark blue, then drybrushed with a dark grey, medium grey and a light grey.
Branches and blossom drybrushed at the same time then covered with wyldwood contrast paint, drybrushed karak stone. Blossom is kaballite green, sybarite green and gauss blaster green
@@ThePaintingCoach Thank you very much for the help, although I will probably paint the flowers as if it were a cherry tree, I think it would give it a more Oriental touch
