If I believed I was cursed, I wouldn't want to drag my friends and family into my impending doom.
Personally, I think he was dying from the heart condition and was having hallucinations associated with it.

I remember when this happened. I had just started working at Muzak the previous October (1990). People were really freaked out over it, as we all knew the circumstances surrounding his sudden death.
It was a while before anyone moved in to his old office.

Bedtime Stories No. I was in another department at the time, but went past his office daily, so I knew him on sight. Muzak may have been a well known company, but the corporate HQ in Seattle only had about 350 or so employees, so everyone was pretty familiar with each other.

funko freak If only the poor man had recognised that crucifixes/salt/water without being blessed by a priest and without faith from the holder of the objects won't do anything to help you to shield yourself against the powers of darkness. So many more perish without any help because they lacked knowledge and refused to seek or acknowledge that there is a war being waged for your soul, that God exists and the principalities pledged to satan are present and causing ruin. Satan has truly blinded the people into ridiculing believers that he doesn't exist. Only when you are faced with something like this is when you try to seek God. Seek HIM now so that your eyes maybe opened. Witches exist and they work for darkness. There are many in the music industry, be aware that satan was the master of music.......

@@ligayabarlow5077She probably realized her actions had consequences after that person’s death. Any practicing witch worth their salt would never dare try to hurt another person especially intentionally. There’s a saying every action comes back three fold, a saying I keep in mind as a druidess/volvar. My actions have been based on getting rain after days of heat by chanting rain but that was back in Connecticut where I was living in the countryside (and strangely enough it was effective because the very next day it would rain). I go to meetings online (my university has a group of people who are practitioners of magic/believers of pre-Christian religions and they hold meetings online) and we never talk about harming another person using magic. We have kept it to making star charts, talking about different beliefs and definitions of the various sects.

This has so many parallels to a friend who died suddenly, age 30, but had been displaying signs of illogical thought patterns and unusual behaviour for about a month before. If there is an illness related to myocardia which also affects the brain, but is not widely known about yet, that could explain a lot. If you feed an idea to someone already affected by an illness, albeit one he was not aware of, then it's no wonder it exacerbated his situation.

If you have ever been haunted or lived in a haunted home alone, where your pets hiss at things you can't see but you can feel, you would know how this effects the body. Not everyone is as sensitive to these things yet if they want to be known they will be. You feel it in your whole body and especially the back and chest area. It gets extremely bad. To me, it seems perfectly logical he would have a heart attack. He was literally scared to death with the help of malevolent demons. This makes me so sad. Most people who enjoy mysteries want to deal in facts and empirical evidence and not the woo woo stuff. Why didn't he stay with friends or family to help validate his experiences? Why not stat at the church if he thought crosses could save him? If he thought a witch had cursed him why not tell someone her name? This begins to sound like a case of paranoid schizophrenia which can cause the person to avoid the logic that would disprove their delusions. Often times those with mental illness use music to soothe their impulses. The stress of a long distant "friend" and turning away a potential mate could have made this worse. Since his mind believed it strong enough it killed him. More information from his family and friends could of course disprove or afirm this.

Fear. In old lore a dark witch would target a person of their anger in order to punish them. Also he might have been afraid if he told anyone her name her wrath would extend to his loved ones. As a neo-druidess and a somewhat scholar on magic I know belief has power in the mind. I think in the end he was suffering from an undiagnosed anxiety disorder which might have impacted his physical health as well as mental health.

I favor death by sleep deprivation. If he were sleep deprived that could make him crazy too. i once had sleep paralysis. I was so out of it I didn't notice the "shadow people" attacking me in my sleep weren't leaving so much as a scratch. also mental health is a spectrum, i'm on the autism spectrum and according to my mom I don't always do things that make sense to her either. but to me they make perfect sense, and I can't see how her way is easier. If Christopher were in THAT mindset, sleep deprived and/or had some kind of learning disorder, well if he died from sleep deprivation that's like being drunk and passing out. No seriously, scientists have studied this. A couple days of sleep deprivation gets you about as impaired as being mildly intoxicated, buzzed I believe is the slang word.

Most likely answer is that she used a false name or she was from a different state. I don’t know how far back you can go to find every guest that stayed at a hotel. My theory is that she was forced to move after her coven found out she cursed a man for not accepting her advances. In magic consent is a big deal plus this was roughly around the period of satanic panic so if her coven found out she cursed someone she was kicked out and was so ashamed she was forced to move. That is if she was part of a coven and I’m speaking as a solitary practitioner (not entirely by choice. My anxiety and my current living arrangement has made it hard to find a local coven so I stick to discord).

The Greek word pharmakeia appears in Galatians 5:20 and Revelation 18:23. Terms from the same root word appear in Revelation 9:21, Revelation 21:8, and Revelation 22:15. These are typically translated into English as “sorcery,” “witchcraft,” or “sorcerer.” Ancient Greek uses of pharmakeia closely mirror the generic modern English word drugs ; the same Greek root word produced English terms such as pharmacy and pharmacist.

A feeling of "doom", for want of a better word, is a known precursor of a heart attack. If this was the case with Chris, he may not have been aware of this fact and put more pressure on his failing system by conflating it with the words of the spiteful woman he'd encountered. As for being found in the bathtub, trust me, when the heart attack strikes, you are not fully aware of what you are doing in reaction to it. Poor bloke - he knew something was very wrong. If it hadn't been for her, he might have gone to the doctor. Instead, he followed the wrong path.

If I was a forensic pathologist working on this case at the time I would request a tox screen in order to find traces of plant-derived poisons such as aconite, belladonna or digitalis (which is from the foxglove plant). I suspect she might have done this before and that there might be similar cases to Chris’ that have never been connected back to Chris and the elusive woman. It might be the detective in me but I think she had knowledge of medicinal and magical properties on plants so she likely knew which plants are poisonous.

Okay so let us imagine that this woman, considering herself a witch, had a strong determination to drive one particular man to the death and was ready to go to any lengths.
    What was her options?
She could have get some sort of deliriant on her hands, for example, a gas, or other agent. The "whispers" then could be a byproduct of the mind under hallucinogen influence. Or other means to drive one person crazy. All that is plausible if she knew the address of the victim.
The sensation of someone strangling you and lifting off the bed is simply a Sleep paralysis. I have experienced one myself with a similar symptoms. It is caused sometimes by being under a lot of stress in recent days, the sleep deprivation (you would be under the great stress, if nights before you thought you've heard some whispers) and sometimes is accompanied by inability to move and having mild hallucinations. The scratches on the hands could be self-inflicted during the troubled sleep or sleep paralysis itself and the victim wouldn't remember it.
The rest is easy explainable as the victim was being further driven insane. The more you deprive the mind from peace the more insane it becomes, until it reaches the climax, resulting in suicide or heart attack.
    P.S.
Or.. the woman had nothing to do with it, but Chris was determined that something is happening. He was a loner, nobody knows what was happening in his mind and what he was going through. Maybe his imagination was the sole architect of his own madness.

Good evening, Pagan. I've been a trauma physician for over thirty-five years, & seen events - both paranormal, supernatural, & quite simply, the unexplained. Not unlike Mr Case, I am considered a rational man - but that is not to suggest that I would discount another's experience out of hand. As far as I am aware, none exist; that too, does not necessarily say that it does not exist; the anaesthetic drug, Curare - sourced from South American jungles is one of the oldest (& most potent) neuro-muscular blocking agents, ergo, muscle relaxant (& where an anaesthetic machine/apparatus, takes over the action of respiration). However, this is an instantaneous compound; it is of course possible to be gradually poisoned with minute doses of (almost) arcane sedatives, no longer used - but again, administration must be consistent - at least daily. As far as the Bedtime Stories team are concerned, no-one else physically interacted with Mr Case in his final week for him to ingest, inspire a gas/vapour, or any other toxic lethal agent - perhaps you might ask them, directly, to see if they've deliberately withheld any aspect of their reportage.
Thank you for responding to my post :)

    • @andrewtongue7084
      @andrewtongue7084 6 ปีที่แล้ว

As an addendum to my last response, Pagan, you will be aware of plant extracts utilised since the Bronze age, with anaesthetic properties, & in some cultures, Shaman (male & female) still employ ancient practices/rituals to assist &/or curse others - but it is primarily for the good of humankind :)

The strangling thing sounds like sleep paralysis, which can be an incredibly terrifying and upsetting thing to endure (especially if he'd never had one before), add the woman's 'curse' to that and you have a combination of things that could have stressed him out to an incredible degree. If he barely slept and his mental state deteriorated, not eating, etc it might have been enough to feed the delusion/paranoia, boost adrenaline and trigger a heart attack or another similar problem that ended up killing him

These whispers were very rapid, unintelligible, and not unlike the whispers on this episode.

I've seen a family member suffer a psychotic break and without us there to help I don't even want to imagine how she would have ended up. She also suffered from days of sleep deprivation and was absolutely paralyzed with fear, suicidal and experiencing terrifying hallucinations.

I love your channel kid. I woke up in intensive care February 2019, back in December I was quite sick and could not breath. I had a dark entity come visit me at night. I think whatever it is can sense a person is in mortal danger and its like they feed off that. I had a seizure, took kidney failure and fell into a coma when I took a bleed on the brain. I had a 98% chance of dying within 10 days and 100% chance of dying within about 60 days in a care home according to the doctors. I have a son and his mother is no good. I am his only chance, so I fought harder than I ever fought in my whole life. I came back from the grips of death...

The problem with such stories is that we know so little about what actually happened and we take so many things at face value. Everything that begins with "his friend told the police later..." immediately raises red flags to me. Even more so when his friend claims to be a psychic herself according to the article in seattle times. Is it possible his friend just made most if not all of that up? Yes it probably is.

The video says "It makes no sense" that he was a stable individual and became a wreck of a man the next day. This is not true, symptoms of schizophrenia might linger unnoticed and suddenly quickly manifest. Also this took place over a week not a single day. He was alone and it seems his family and friends were in another state. From a rational point of view, going to a psychatrist instead of buying crosses might have saved him.

Rogers427 well , there’s a spiritual world around us : to get power , some people turn to magic or satanism . For glory, fame and power , people sell their soul to the devil : and yes , there is a devil and his first lie is to make believe that he doesn’t exist . Witches aren’t ugly with brooms and big hats : they are like almost everyone else , spends their time making sacrifices (animal or human) stealing the destinies of others, etc and spend their time for witchcraft, I spent a lot of time in the Caribbean, and people over there are familiar with witches , warlock , etc.... as if I ever met a witch , of course I did : and you probably have too....if you want to open the Pandora box , check how many Hollywood celebrities got their fame ..... you have a lot of witches on tv and movies ....

There are lots of folks on the West Coast who practice black magick, that's a given.
