Technique Tuesday, Gel Press Play
Hi everyone,
Jo here from the design Team, thanks so much for popping in.
Today we are going to be using our gel press to create a couple of nice, simple backgrounds.
We have had so many crafters telling us that they just haven’t taken their gel press out if it’s box…so come and join me. Let us do it together .
I am sure once you have created one background you will want to make another, and another.
It really is so much fun.
So let’s dive in…together.

Products used.
Multifarious card stock- laviniastamps....
Acrylics blocks-laviniastamps....
Roland , printing press- laviniastamps....
Elements ink pads, Blue Lagoon and Bermuda- laviniastamps....
Brayer- laviniastamps....
Brusho powders-Yellow and Turquoise-laviniastamps....
Fan brush - laviniastamps....

Gosh girl I learned s much from this!! I need this block and press, unfortunately I bought two big ones, I thought ok spend a little more buy the biggest 😅 still sitting on a sad shelf.i will file this vid away it is beautiful art!!!

Well I have watched this video numerous times and struggled every time I attempted this technique. And then ... I watched it again. HIGHLY PIGMENTED DYE INK PADS. That is the key. And if adding Brusho's, I had to make sure that they were diluted quite a bit in order to reduce the chance of the Brusho's taking over the colour of the ink on the gel plate. I will sleep well tonight.😁

Thanks Jo I remembered the tip you gave me when I met you at Harrogate about the brusho pots and keep the little tab on the lids on the outside so they are easier to remove it works
