Mindful Monday with The Tall Dandelion on a gel press meadow
Hi everyone, Jo from the dt here again.
Thanks so much for popping in today, it is always a pleasure to spend time with you.
Today we are going to create a gel press print. First we will add some elements inks onto the gel press to create the background then we are going to stamp our floral designs direct onto the gel press using Versafine Clair inks. A few gentle splashes of water in the sky and then we will 5ake a print…this is just the most fun thing to do…and the results are amazing.
Our pastel pencils and some stickles glitter glue will add the finishing touches.
So plump up your cushions and get the kettle on.

Wow, how incredible! It was a clearer image to us putting the copier paper underneath. I so love how you created a whole scene on the Gel press and it's not "sad" to reuse your mask, its genius, economical and saves the planet too! ❤🧚‍♀️

I saw the design better once the copy paper went under the gel plate. I have gel plates but am nervous to try them, and my braying isn’t brilliant at the best of times, but thanks to you Jo I am going to give it a go. I love this design. Thank you for sharing.

Putting the white copier paper under the gel press made the design come really visible. Good call. When you put the gel press to the card, I was amazed at how lovely the print was. Dog and cat both napping; cat is snoring. 😀

Lovely! Jo, what size is the Roland gel press? When I see it on the website for Lavinia, it says it in centimeters. So, I've not bought One because I've got to be careful of the size of My Card's.

Thanks so much for watching, yes it will work with distress inks, oxide inks, etc , you just get a little more beading as they have a higher water content in them xx💛
