    These are great. I use my gel plates on cut paper but never on card blanks. I love the masking borders you did but have not used masking. I'm going to try that the next time I'm gelli printing. Great idea!!!!! TFS 😊 😊 😊

    Heating tape with a heat gun softens the adhesive, asking it easier to remove. Learned this from Keren Tamir on TH-cam. The gelli plate is so fun to play with and the more layers, the more interest. Great video!

      Oh that is a great tip! I will try it! Thanks for sharing ❤️ And thanks for the shout out to where you found it too! I will definitely check out Keren's channel.

    another suggestion: if you do any stamping, this would be a great technique on blank cards that may have stamping mistakes. You'd be covering up the mistakes with paint. I'm guilty of messing up a few ;-)

    They're so beautiful... I've never printed directly on the cardbase (too scary!), but I'll be brave and give it a try now because it looks very professional. I love it, thanks Kim! ❤

    • @KimDellow
      @KimDellow  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      I know! It is a little daunting but remember that if you get prints on the card blank that you don't like as much you can always cut them up to make embellishments!

    realy cool, thanks.... yesterday i took my 8X10 gel press plate and cut it in 1/2 to and then took one 1/2 and cut that in half so i have 3 smaller plates. I had only used my larger plate 2 times in 3 years. Yesterday I spent about 2 hours making prints using my smaller plates because i found it so much easier to use the smaller plates than the one big plate. Wish I had cut it down so long ago.

      @KimDellow  6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      That's great! I hope you enjoy your 'new' plates! Have you also tried jigsaw-ing some or all of them back together? I wonder if you would get some interesting line patterns in the joins?

    • @KimDellow
      @KimDellow  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      I can't really tell the difference personally. Both work really well and are great products so I don't think you can go far wrong with either.

    what fabulous foundations for partially layering over! So many possibilities! What if you used plain low-tack tape? I feel certain you can find some that is a better price than washi tape ;-)

    • @KimDellow
      @KimDellow  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hiya Deb, Have you tried That's Crafty? They have a nice range of stencils. Also you can sometimes pick them up from Amazon, like the one I have used in this video, the link for it is in the video description. But you need to make sure you aren't paying too much for them on Amazon so keep an eye on the recommended retail price for stencils to decide if it is worth it for you. I hope that helps and I am glad you are enjoying the tutorials.
