I've found that you can avoid contaminating your inkpad by smooshing your inkpad on your craft mat- or putting a blob of reinker on the mat- and picking up the ink from there. A good white pad is like finding hens teeth, so this saves your inkpad. (Shaz)
Love your techniques and backgrounds ...such friendly tutorials. They make my day ...thank you so much for your time in making them 💗. Sam from sunny Cornwall x
Hi everyone, thank you so much for your lovely comments, the stamps that I have used are from Lavinia stamps and the stencils are from Aall & Create They are LOTz of Dotz and Totally Dotty,,,. Hope that helps...xxx
Hi Jo. Love your work. This technique is subtle I’m going to give it a try. I’m in regional Victoria Australia. (Geelong). We are in Stage 3 lockdown but metropolitan Melbourne is in stage 4 as we go through the 2 nd wave of this dreadful COVID 19. It is very hard to get motivated but your video has inspired me. I love Lavinia stamps and these backgrounds are ideal . I look forward to seeing more of your tutorials. Thank you.
I love your videos Jo. They are fantastic! You explain things clearly, not only the technique but why you do certain things. Keep it up! Leanne from Canberra, Australia
Just love your videos, I am in my crafting room in NZ at 4.30am just playing and trying different technique. This is my favourite time of the day as I have hours ahead of me without interruptions so I was thrilled to see another Jo Rice video pop up. I am too far away to attend one of your classes but this is a wonderful opportunity to work along side you. Thank you so much for sharing your skills so freely.
When I looked for the Wildflower stamp it said it was a steel stencil....but it looks like a stamp when you use it. Can you tell me if it is metal or a clear stamp? Can't find it as a stamp on Lavina, only as a stencil!
Katharine Cooper . It is a stamp called wild flower and is available from Lavinia stamps...it is so useful, I hope you can get one,,,enjoy xx😊 laviniastamps.com/product/wild-flower
Just found your channel and loving it! I'm in Florida USA. Your voice and accent are so soothing and pleasant to listen to, and I love all your techniques! Thank you for sharing, and God bless!
You’re amazing with backgrounders .i have been trying some of the backgrounds been so happy . Your right this brings back your mojo. Thanks so much !! (US)
I’m really enjoying your videos. Thank you for sharing yet another technique. I have taken lots of pictures using the bokeh effect, but I’ve never done it in my crafts. This is definitely a technique for my calendar.💚💚💚💚
Did a couple backgrounds with distress spray this morning, this would be the perfect technique to enhance them 👍🏻. Your cards are very pretty, love listening to you 😁
Hi Jo. How can I clean my stamps. I use Stazon black ink and it dosent come off. I did use nail varnish remover but it melted my stamp. So please can u let me know what cleaner to use on stazon jet black ink . Thanks hun your brill at showing your cards. Regards Nikkie.x
nikkie mock hi Nikki, I must admit that I don’t use staz=on ink unless I am stamping on acetate or shrink plastic as it can be quite damaging to the stamps. There is a specific Staz-on cleaner which I use when I do use the ink. My ink of choice would be a VersaFine Clair ink, Nocturne is the black one....hope that helps....thanks so much for watching and commenting xx
Yes Im in Cyprus and makes me want to cry, miss seeing the craft demos at the fairs and being able to buy supplies without the anxious 4 week wait to see if they will arrive through the post. Lovin your demos Jo x
I love this Jo and I have your stencil from years ago when I was a certain company stamp fanatic . I could listen to your lovely voice all day long . Wish the swim across the pond wasn’t so long . We are slowly opening more stores and restaurants where I live and our weather has been beautiful except for rain today but the flowers are in their heaven drinking it all up . Joy and more joy . Jan

Thanks Jo for this reminder. I was finally able to obtain this ink-it was out of stock for some time? Then I forgot how to use it. This is great for me to finally use this ink.
I have just got to try this, your teaching methods are so inspiring and beautifully done.Thank you. Also I tend to forget about my white inks ,not any more though.
Recently discovered bokeh so have been watching what videos are out there. This one will be at the top of the best list. The finger-blending tip was great! Thanks!
miriamabela miriamabela , the great thing with crafting is that you can adapt techniques, so I would try with other colours, and see how you like the results...xxx
Hi, Jo, I love watching your tutorials. I notice that you use Versa Fine Clair ink for stamping. If you don't have Versa Fine inks what other inks can you stamp with. I live in Australia and it seems to be hard to find. I have Versa Fine ink and Gina K amalgam ink and My Favorite Things Hybrid ink. Thank you for sharing.
Joanne Collis , thank you for watching , as far as I know the VersaFine Clair inks are just the new improved version of the VersaFine ink pads. I find them great for detailed stamps. So I would use your VersaFine, and keep your eyes out as the Clair ones may reach you soon. Archival ink is good for silhouette stamps, too...hope that helps...xxx
@@JoRice Thank you so much for your help and advise. l love the Lavinia stamps only new to them so l will keep watching your tutorials for more great ideas. Thank you once again. 🤗🤗
