Yeah I have a spare on the way from Amazon, I will get it cut and program it. I also have a couple of door lock cylinders and some keys coming so I can lock the door again.
may I ask why you didn't put the key into the on position then press the pin in as you pull out on the cylinder. the way its assembled it can only be removed when in the on position sir. hopefully this helps you in the future.
The replacement key and cylinder u used, it came out of a used vehicle? What all models etc can I use to replace the cylinder an key? And can I be certain all will program ? Can u use a new replacement?
Jus have a salvage yard look it up in Hollander, it can come out of a bunch of different Fords from a bunch of years. Yes the key will program for didn't change PATS system for many years.
sorry but for me the new cylinder will not recess completley to lie flush like original into slot but will turn ignition it look like urs is off about same as mine is this normal please respond on urs

Because the key is lost, as the Title of the Video says. That is why I am doing this in the first place.

look for a piece that broke off down in the bottom
what a pain, I hope I don't need to do this. I need another key. I don't think my truck has a chip key
Oh it wasn't that bad. You can just order a key on Amazon and have it cut at bakers, and them program it with you scan tool if it has a chip.
