Carwow test was on early facelift M3P - which had software issue with power output when SOC was less than 80% and/or outside and hence battery temp was below 20c. Was a problem with the heat pump in 2021 models sucking too much heat out of the battery.....this was fixed some months later with an OTA update and the performance of the 2021 models is now a tiny bit greater than 2019 - stock for stock (ie factory wheels)
@@mastodon5220 i have Tomason TN25 instead of the Uberturbines now, they are about 4kg less weight per wheel. Guess what? My 0-100 didnt change at all. Another factor to note is that the car is in track mode. The 0-60 time for track mode tends to be a little slower than without it. I've been able to achieve 0-60 in 3.26s and have seen others hit below that.
Must be in a super warm climate state. Normally you have to preheat battery and have a 90% or more charge to get this kinda numbers. Most of the time it’s around 4-4.25.
Me in my car and 80% battery charge, A/C running with heavy 20 inch wheels and allseason tires 0-60 mph 3.12 sec. 0-100 Mph is 8.2 sec. Plenty for a daily driver, and enough to kill 99% of the cars on the road. Also 30-50 mph: 1.1 sec and 50-70 mph: 1.7 sec...

Especially impressive since there were two people in it.

Track Mode actually slows it down. I did 11.271 @ 121.79 mph for the 1/4 mile with proper preconditioning.

@@LearningFast how long does it last tho?
60-130 is disappointing. They need to release a faster version of M3 with performance closer to S Plaid!
That would be crazy lol 😂
New one is much faster and quicker
The 2024 is 2.9 sec to 60 not much faster then a 2021 with 3.1 sec
that dude on the bike shit him self not hearing you zip by at 135

I keep getting 3.5 in mine too. I think Tesla got their 3.2 number after factoring in "roll out".

143mph on a 50mph road ho lee sht
Instant ban and probably jail too in the UK, speed cameras everywhere
140 in a 50. Nice
What about 146 in a 65?
Ouuuuu

70-0 mph: 147 ft and 100-0 mph: 296 ft...both are excellent. Also 0-100-0 is 13.5 sec. Amazing

Shouldn’t the 60-130 be faster?
Not really, as you approach higher speed, air drag gets more and more intense.
