    Thanks for the information. Based on this video... What is the court deciding when a landlord is taken over non repairs? If they didn't not fix the water heating problem do they forfeit the rent for that month or portion or is it just with held and you will end up paying the withheld rent anyways?

      Thank you for watching. There is no automatic reduction of rent in these circumstances. A judge would need to determine any reduction that may be appropriate. We recommend that you reach out to an attorney for guidance. If you cannot afford an attorney, contact a legal aid in your county to see if you qualify for free legal advice.

      @@LawProgram89 thanks for the information. One last question. What if they use the 3day notice for a other categories than rent. Or if they photo edited documents to forge your signature or name. Just curious.

      @@YodamboY I would recommend that you contact a legal aid in the county in which you live to discuss your concerns with an attorney. A general answer would not be possible without review of the documents you mention.
