I had a brand new one (125 miles on it) as a loaner when my E class was in the shop. I really wanted to like it because someday my E 300 will need replaced and I was thinking I could do a step down without too many problems. The exterior was beautiful (obsidian black metallic) but unfortunately when I got into it my first thought was “There’s no way that this car is worth $52,000!” $32,000 maybe but not $52,000. If i had to give a short answer to “how did the day with the E 300 go?” the answer would be "rough and unrefined”. The 48 volt hybrid system and the turbo 4 are jerky and the auto stop start was jolting. No matter what i did i couldnt adjust the seat to be comfortable. Tons of cheap hard plastics and the buttons felt very delicate like if i pushed with normal force they would have broken off. I guess I’ll be keeping my E class for a long time!
Base model is Rear Wheel Drive!
There you go, keep it up buddy

Yeah the quality has definitely changed. I’m sure being 1-2 years “old” the c300 will be worth the price. But I agree!
