Wicked! This reminds me of the whariwharangi hut in the Abel Tasman national park. It’s an old farmhouse that was built in the 1800s and is now used as a doc hut. It has some interesting old wallpaper and stuff like that to look at and as it’s a doc hut you can light the fire, spend the night and be transported back in time. It’s also in a really nice location and in the cooler months you’ll most likely have it all to yourself
Great explore ive been here last year but in the autumn and we could drive right up to the cobb house so they must have a chain up during the winter season to stop you driving past it.
Yes that's correct they do chain it up at the bridge to keep the winter traffic out due to the road not being maintained with heavy snow etc, Thank you for watching and commenting 😎👍
We looked at the bricks behind the cobb house and thought perhaps it was a bakeoven back in the day but it also could be a boiler like you said.
