Thank you for the positive comments, hopefully people will understand how much BSA has done for this country and how much was sacrificed by a very brave group of people. Thank you BSA and Thank you one and all. Stay safe Andy.
Thank you from 'across the pond ' in the US for a poignant reminder of why all we are so fortunate, and how common people help to change the world by their decisions & actions. Here in the US we sometimes forget that things might have gone differently in the world - the entire world, mind you - had you in the UK not shown so much grit and determination before we belatedly got involved in working with you and preserving freedom in that conflict. Thank you, UK. You have so much to be proud of. We all work best together.
Brilliant introduction Andy! The history lesson was not just highly informative but also very humbling, it was also noted in the end credits that women as well as men tragically lost their lives that night, take a bow sir! Very well presented, and the rifle ? Wow, absolutely stunning!
What a brilliant video, the history of B.S.A factory brought a tear to my eye, the turds that gave this a thumbs down have no respect for hero's and should take a long look in the mirror. if you don't like B.S.A guns, the history lesson alone should be enough to give it a thumbs up. Well done Andy.
I used to play down beside the BSA works in the late 60's and when you could get through the fence (which I never did) there were loads of 303 stocks and barrels and the old leather ammo pouches which we then used to play with. Then later on in years I watched the demolition of the BSA factory it was heart breaking if you lived that side of the city you new someone who worked there. Or done their apprenticeship there, things are forgotten so quickly now a days with not a thought for the people who enabled us to have the luxuries we take for granted now. Thank you Andy
My Friday ritual - get the kids off to school, walk the dogs then sit down to watch the latest AAR vid. Doesn't usually include a tear in my eye also though. What a moving tribute Andy, I could tell you were quite emotional and you can tell BSA that you've sold them at least one...looked it up and ordered form my local gun shop. Well done and thank you sir!
That was a beautiful show, thank you. My Nan worked at BSA when the bombings took place, she survived. When my dad entered the workforce, he apprenticed as a toolmaker at BSA. Eventually emigrating to Canada, my father would tell of his time there and other history’s of BSA. He hated guns because of war, and would not allow me an air rifle as a youth. Time has passed, he has passed. The great stories of a proud Englishman still ring fresh in me, his son. I am now an avid target shooter and adore your shows. Keep up the fantastic job you do and thanks again for one of my favourite episodes. Unfortunately where I live, Canada, we don’t have an importer of BSA or I would surely and very proudly own one. Keep well Ted Miles
WOW! This week's history lesson was absolutely epic! Never been personally into BSA airguns - but this showed at least why it is good for one to have the decency to respect BSA. Just an awesome episode off AAR this week. THANK YOU!
I have this in the .177 and .22... Beautifully made gun that shoots beyond my own expectations. This is a fantastic tribute, Andy is a great guy who we had the pleasure of meeting.
My family lived by the BSA when it was bombed. The Germans used the view of the moonlight in the canal as a guild to follow’ to find Armoury Road in Small Heath. My nan told me of a family who drowned in their air raid shelter when the canal burst it banks, after being bombed. Ive bought one of the rifles you mentioned , in memory of all the people who lost their lives. God bless. Dave chubb
Thank you Andy. Great bit of remembrance and nothing shameful about being reminded about how lucky we all are to have the freedoms we have because of the many sacrifices of others. What a rifle too I was smitten as soon as I saw the colour. With just 160 made I never thought I would be in with a chance but just found out that my email and phone message scattergun approach has worked as I have managed to secure one of those beautiful rifles. One very happy and fortunate man.
Well said Andy,, My grandparents were from Small Heath where the factory is and my great uncle was a fireman during the air raids so your tribute to them struck a chord with me, thank you for your heartfelt tribute to them and the factory. I just hope I manage to bag one of these beautiful rifles when they land at Vector air !!
Managed to buy one last week. Thrilled to bits with it. First venture into a .177 rifle. Borrowed a mates Gamo a few months ago and am seriously impressed with BSA. Very pleased.
That was a beautiful tribute Andy! I'll admit it did bring a tear to my eyes! I wish some of my fellow Americans knew more about the sacrifices and accomplishments of our countrymen on both sides of the pond. It is truly astonishing.
I dont normally comment on your videos, but i felt compelled after watching this one. Wow. The start of this video was not only really enlightening, but truly humbling. Thank you for bringing to light the historical contribution the BSA have made. If BSA would ever have you on a historical tour video, that would be great.
A really great review and well put together. I was born in Birmingham 70yrs ago and have been a fan of BSA air rifles from the moment dad brought home a second hand Airsporter that he’d bought from a chap in the pub for a “fiver”. Did I want it? You bet. I’ve never lost my affection for the brand but what surprises me is how few people know that the Germans concentrated so much of their bombing on that area. It was only this year that I watched a documentary setting out the history as Andy described it and the fact that Birmingham was rarely if ever mentioned so as not to give the Germans any indication of how successful they might have been. Even mom and dad who had connections to both Kynochs and Dunlop’s never mentioned how focused the bombing had been. A very well kept secret. As for air rifles while I’ve had dozens of makes + models over the years I’ve never lost my love for the early Airsporters and I wonder whether BSA have ever thought of doing a 21st century engineered version that looked exactly the same as the early models ( no frills ). There’s a lot of us that still think the early ones were the most beautiful springer ever designed. A memorable review of a great British company - thanks Andy.
You're a class act Andy....👌 Thank you for sharing a bit of 🇬🇧 history. My new found respect as American for BSA and the bravery of the Brits is greatly appreciated. Thanks for keeping us informed.👊
Well said Andy and well put together at short notice. 👏. Lovely tribute to all those that died at Bsa serving our country. I own the bsa R10 th and its a fantastic gun made by a fantastic company. 👏
Thank you Andy for showing this superb history of one of our greatest small arms manufactorers in Great Britain. A most beautiful rifle with a great package too. Well done ol' lad.
I purchased a BSA R10SE about one and a half years ago. It's right hand walnut in 177cal. I haven't had one single problem with it. It's quite and extremely accurate with anything over 10gr. It's FAC power, as I live in the USA. Your reviews were a big influence on my purchase. Also I love history. The smell of real wood and leather are intoxicating and England does it beautifully. I oil the stock with walnut oil. It smells fantastic as the sun warms things up. My strap is leather. The build quality is outstanding and the rifle is a pleasure to use. More people need to buy this wonderful brand. They will not be disappointed. Thanks brother for your excellent video. I learned a lot about BSA that I didn't know. People owe it to BSA and the UK 🇬🇧 to support them. God bless you and your family. 🇺🇸
Following seeing this review I bought one of these over the phone without holding one, it is without doubt the best BSA rifle that I have ever purchased, moderator equal to any of my Weihrauchs. Excellent informative review. Well done Andy.
Thank you BSA. Thank you to all the staff who lost their lifes and to those who risked their own lives to try and rescue their fellow workers. May their memories never be forgotten. The unsung heroes of a very difficult time in Great Britain's history. Carry on with your wonderfully informative videos. Thanx Andy.🇬🇧👍
Brilliant tribute and a real eye opener to the amazing war effort achievement of BSA. We should never forget the sacrifices so many of those generation made which allow us the privileges we still enjoy.
Thank you for this very moving and educational video. It is right that we remember with pride and thanks the many men and women who worked tirelessly to keep the war effort going in the factories and fields of our beloved England. They will not be forgotten.
i loved this episode , a proper tribute to all who lost there lives , as i was once a serving our country and trained in litchfield [ 1rrw ] in the 1980s and never knew the story of BSA its 2023 now i would like to thank your channel for the education on the history that should never be forgotten , also i came across the channel a few mths ago now and has raised my intrest in shooting again after many years of not shooting on any level , as the support of a true British company i will be going to vector air to do a visit before December thus year to see whats on offer many thanks andrew wilcox
Your videos have become part of my weekly routine, every Friday without fail, kids in bed, earphones in and the latest AAR review. This one was extra special, thank you so much Andy for the history lesson, I had no idea about BSA and the WWII bombing. So sad. But what an amazing rifle, beautiful stock as you said and accurate (as we've come to expect with their Cold Hammer Forged barrel. Wish I could get me hands on one.
Hi Andy, for a quickly put together episode all I can say is a big thank you, well done, brilliant and how fitting at this time of year especially the history lesson. It’s great to hear the value that BSA has brought for you and us all to enjoy such reviews without authorities dictating what can and can’t be said in this current era. Without great British companies such as BSA who knows where we’d all be today or under whose rule! That aside the CLX looks amazing and even if I never manage to purchase one I’m sure that those that do will have as much pleasure as you showed in your show. Andy, thank you for a very moving and exciting report, thank you to BSA and thank you to all who support your show in producing what I believe to be the best one made to date. 👍
Well said that man let’s never forget. A wonderful bit of kit I still love my Ultra se. BSA is certainly a very important company we should all be proud of.
Loved the show as always. Thank you for the recognition to the brave people that protected our country during WW2.The rifle looks excellent. Keep up the good work as my favourite air gun channel on TH-cam. Hope you and family are all well.
Absolutely, Absolutely, absolutely fantastic. Can’t rate or share this video enough. The history was touching, informative and beautiful. And the rifle is stunning. It’s cemented me buying an Ultra CLX. Proud to have the British flag waving over BSA.
Great review as always Andy and thank you for putting it together for us to enjoy. As you say in the video that stock is a beautiful work of art. Much respect to past and present employees of BSA.
Thank you for the history lesson. I had an aunt (war bride), who lived in London and experienced the blitz. Wonderful woman and mother of three. I thoroughly enjoyed the review. That is a fine looking rifle.
Great introduction Andy and very moving. Just to clarify I have picked up my 160th edition .22 CLX today which I’m over the moon with as I’ve managed to get the 160th on my serial number but it didn’t come in two boxes as yours did, I got one plain cardboard box with the rifle case in with everything in it. I just didn’t want all your viewers thinking they would get something the same as you. Thanks again Andy keep up the good work 👍🏼
Earlier this year when I watched your review on the CLX, I did think about getting one, but decided not to. However, having watched this latest review, I did put my name down for one, and pleased to say I will be one of the lucky .177 owners of this lovely looking rifle. Collecting it this Friday (along with my FAC M3) Always enjoy watching your UNBIASED reviews no matter what rifle or pistol you show. Thank you 👏👏👍🏼
Epic video. Great history lesson on BSA. Heros who wouldn't leave their station to arm and help their heros. Wow hits me where it counts brother ❤. Fantastic job sir. Im an American but hats off to you and 🇬🇧. well done tribute to them
Watchin your reviews i fell in love with air guns, my first being a bsa buccaneer that i love. Knowing the history of Bsa factory makes me even more proud of owning one. Best regards from Italy, Andy, keep up the good work!
Andy...this was awesome. Your absolutely one of the best out here and I simply dont understand the people who find fault with you. But then again, some people are so uncomfortable in their own skin that its hard for them to appreciate anything good. Thanks for your efforts and this is definitely one of your best!! Thanks Andy.
Well said Andy. Companies like BSA don't get the recognition for their achievements in the defence of our freedom. The sacrifices of their workforce were more than significant.
Andy, Great history lesson. Never mind proud to be British, I'm proud to be a Brummy. Good end if video tribute as well. Always loved BSA guns starting with a Scorpion and graduating to and Airsportor. Keep up the good work Andy.
I've got on the wall behind me a BSA "s" type underlever.22, it's serial dates it to 1920.And it still works!!!❤️😁 great interesting video Hughie, sorry Andy 👍
Thanks Andy for the review but even more for the history. We should never forget the sacrifices made during wars that give us our freedom today. Greetings from Australia.
Wonderful video Andy.Just goes to show the dedication that workforce had.........Ive never ever had a bad BSA rifle. When i was a kid the BSA Meteor ruled supreme and was the rifle everyone aspired too. ( Couldnt afford the Airsporter ). As you rightly say Andy......WE WILL REMEMBER THEM................
As a ex FAC holder I Obviously knew of BSA but had no idea that they had made so many weapons during the war, hat’s off to them and long may they continue.
Loved the little history lesson.❤️ BSA do make great guns And BSA Have done alot for are countrys history. I've got a BSA ultra se. And It's never missed a beat. If I miss . I know it's me . Not the gun lol ❤️❤️❤️
Greetings from Cyprus. I admire people who respect their history and country, regardless of their country. I salute you sir . And thank you for your history mentions. Touching, dare i say. Great review as always. Keep up Andy, its channels like yours that keep us going with our beloved hobbies in the terrible times we live in right now. 👌
Amazing episode, thanks for the history lesson...i didn't realise how steeped in history BSA was... Will feel that gratitude and pride every time I shoot my BSA Ultra XL 🇬🇧💂♀️. Mine's so accurate too, hasn't skipped a beat and is so consistent.. Love it.
your video's lately have been so brilliant that ive decided to join a club and start shoiting rifles, ive only been shooting pistols last 6yrs at my home, so thank you for the nudge into rifles, great BSA history lesson too m8 wow what a company 😍.
Another great review. I also loved the history piece. I'm not a big fan of nationalism, but I appreciate everything that has been given for my freedom to express that. I'm guessing it was half of the British (commonwealth?) guns that BSA produced, not the total. Also a lovely rifle. well done BSA (and Gamo!)
Love the little BSA history lesson Andy. I knew a little of it but have never had the fulll contribution to the war effort outlined so effectively. BZ to BSA and BZ to you!
Excellent video never new what happened so amazing , love bsa still have my super ten in .22FAC , when I bought it straight from the factory I traveled across the pond ,, took me 9 months to get it home ,so yes it's my baby ,
I've watched every single review you've done and enjoyed them all, however this is the best review to date. Loved the history lesson on Birmingham Small Arms, I've never been a fan of BSA but after watching this review im hooked. Plus the new side lever is a game changer. Keep up the good work Andy and keep it real as you always have.
What a package, I bought the R10 Nutmeg Laminate kit from VA after watching your review and this has been amazing. For anyone thinking about getting one of these outfits from Vector Air, don't think about it just do it. VA will look after you as their custom service and attention to detail is second to none. Fantastic review Andy, made me proud to be British and a BSA owner
Andy, I have just subscribed to your channel. What a great video and heart felt history lesson. It’s clear your passionate about your Air Weapons. I love your enthusiasm and well informed comments. As an Armourer myself I appreciate everything BSA have done for the UK and the world. On a side not they have also produced some outstanding motorcycles over the years.
Such a great video, Rifle is awesome and beautiful, of course the history lesson also, my great respect for the brave people of UK. I'm a big fan of BSA and excellent quality of British air guns. I am the owner of BSA COMET EVO 4.5 with costume butstock and gas piston. We have no power limitations so my COMET has more than 22 J and 1000 feet per second with great accuracy. She's on my profile picture so you can see it. All the best from Serbia 🇷🇸
From one Andy to another thanks for the amazing history lesson and super review of the rifle, makibg it hard to resist adding another CLX to my collection.
I'm loving that BSA have updated their action with a side lever action,I can't wait to see it work its way over to a new r ten variant,I'll be buying one.
Took delivery of my one of these today. Very excited opening the box. I’ve actually got serial no 160 in the .177 version. Beautiful bit of kit. Chronograph showed a little over 11 ftlbs, would of liked a tad more but not complaining.
I don't often comment on things on TH-cam but watching this video i thought was one of the best i have seen in a long time brilliant fantastic well done Andy
Andy - you are a legend, I had no idea about the BSA bomb and their contribution in WW2. Truly humbling and thank you for setting out the facts. I’d have one of these in a flash if I could afford it. Best regards.
Thanks Andy, I saw your earlier review of the CLX ultra limited edition and thought I really would like that gun but all sold out. After coming across this review on FB I managed to bag me a 160 commemorative in .177. Haven’t got it yet but it’s on its way and I’m very excited about it. It looks like a thing of beauty and it will be my first .177 rifle so looking forward very much to getting used to it and the longer range it will have over my FX Cutlass
Wow! I never knew that looking for a rifle could be so emotional 🥺 Thank you for the information about their extraordinary history 🎖️🥀 Now I definitely want this rifle!! 💖
Great tribute thanks for the history lesson I had no idea about the bombing 😥love the black pepper stock, I was lucky to have a first edition C L X GREAT rifle
Brilliant video. Good on you for the remembrance chapter and history lesson at the top. Here's to the splendid hearts who were there in the war years. We will remember them.
Thank you for the positive comments, hopefully people will understand how much BSA has done for this country and how much was sacrificed by a very brave group of people. Thank you BSA and Thank you one and all. Stay safe Andy.
The history of BSA has now just made me a BSA future owner.
As the grandson of a wartime BSA worker all I can say is thanks Andy a great tribute to brave people 👍

Interesting story but a shame in history for Germany! We Germans got later the answer.

Just an awesome episode off AAR this week. THANK YOU!
Another great one Andy love the gun mate
What a great video on a beautifully made gun. Your tribute to the staff of BSA was also beautifully presented. Well done Andy. 👏
Lest we forget....

I have this in the .177 and .22... Beautifully made gun that shoots beyond my own expectations.

I just hope I manage to bag one of these beautiful rifles when they land at Vector air !!
From the brief history of the company, to the presentation and review, to the gun itself, excellent all the way around. Well done.
My first Air Rifle BSA Meteor, 1960 ish, just passed it on to my son, who had to wait until he was nearly 50 for it.
Managed to buy one last week. Thrilled to bits with it. First venture into a .177 rifle. Borrowed a mates Gamo a few months ago and am seriously impressed with BSA. Very pleased.

Bsa is one of the most under rated airguns out there
Well said that man let’s never forget. A wonderful bit of kit I still love my Ultra se. BSA is certainly a very important company we should all be proud of.
Brilliant programme and an informative tribute to BSA and all their staff past and present. We'll done.
Outstanding job Andy! Hats off.
A great tribute to BSA's phenomenal importance then and now.
Great video and a super gun.
Loved the show as always. Thank you for the recognition to the brave people that protected our country during WW2.The rifle looks excellent. Keep up the good work as my favourite air gun channel on TH-cam. Hope you and family are all well.

Great intro. Both with letting the critics have it and the history lesson on the BSA plant… Keep those videos rolling.
Epic video. Great history lesson on BSA. Heros who wouldn't leave their station to arm and help their heros. Wow hits me where it counts brother ❤. Fantastic job sir. Im an American but hats off to you and 🇬🇧. well done tribute to them
❤️ BSA
What they did for our country was fantastic
Thank you for the humbling history lesson. God bless BSA. I love their rifles, even though I now don't own any any longer.
👍
Well said Andy. Companies like BSA don't get the recognition for their achievements in the defence of our freedom. The sacrifices of their workforce were more than significant.
Andy, Great history lesson. Never mind proud to be British, I'm proud to be a Brummy. Good end if video tribute as well. Always loved BSA guns starting with a Scorpion and graduating to and Airsportor. Keep up the good work Andy.
Hell with British I don't forgive burned down white house killed 100s thousands Americans I hold grudges eternally retired u.s. army e5
Amen to the staff at BSA and the many other factories large and small for the parts they played at the hour of our greatest need.
I've got on the wall behind me a BSA "s" type underlever.22, it's serial dates it to 1920.And it still works!!!❤️😁 great interesting video Hughie, sorry Andy 👍
I have a 1942 cadet juniur in my collection I shoot it all time I love the little gun. .. they don't make them like that any more lol .
Thanks Andy for the review but even more for the history. We should never forget the sacrifices made during wars that give us our freedom today. Greetings from Australia.
An excellent and moving tribute to the BSA workers. If you did that as you say at short notice, you certainly are to be commended.
Well done! The history lesson was great. Thank you for putting it together.
A wonderful tribute to a fine company, thank you for the history!
Such a touching piece of history, such a beauty of a tribute. Thanks for putting the show together Andy
My pleasure
Thank you for the history lesson. Have a BSA myself...I Love mine!
They will continue. People will support them if they understand this History.
To the 53 BSA staff who stood their ground----------------- RESPECT & THANKS
Great history lesson Andy. Very interesting indeed, never stop learning!
Great video. Lovely dedication to those who lost their lives. Beautiful rifle.
The WWII history section was very cool! thanks for including it.
Love the little BSA history lesson Andy. I knew a little of it but have never had the fulll contribution to the war effort outlined so effectively. BZ to BSA and BZ to you!
What a fantastic introduction Andy , I love my BSA rifles even more now 😀 ❤
My very first Airgun was a BSA Super 10 - love using it.
Andy - That was stunningly good. As an American, it made me VERY glad to see your flag.

What a beautiful gun. I must agree about that stock, thats artwork.
Very moving, very poignant and wonderfully delivered. BSA was and is part of our freedom. Lest we forget.
Morning Andy thanks again for a great video of such an important part of history most of us were unaware of,and bringing us a fabulous looking gun ,
What a package, I bought the R10 Nutmeg Laminate kit from VA after watching your review and this has been amazing. For anyone thinking about getting one of these outfits from Vector Air, don't think about it just do it. VA will look after you as their custom service and attention to detail is second to none. Fantastic review Andy, made me proud to be British and a BSA owner
Thank you BSAfoe your service! I will always own a BSA.
Excellent video Andy! Heartwarming to hear of the bravery of those incredible people! Lovely gun too!
Hi Andy a brilliant lesson in our great history of a country and a people and BSA Guns mate
Great company bsa. Proud to be British.
I have been lucky enough to purchase a clx 160 today never been used well it did today and what a gun to shoot so smooth and accurate
Wow! I never knew that looking for a rifle could be so emotional 🥺
Thank you for the information about their extraordinary history 🎖️🥀
Now I definitely want this rifle!! 💖
