Bro I had appendicitis surgery a year ago, then had the wound get infected too. Turns out it was a small piece of stitching that the body rejected and it started to rot
11:20 - Lysol here, the stabs are pretool cherry clip in stabs, I was experimenting with them and wanted to try them in my f1. sound wise it was really just down to the nature of the stab material being nylon. will likely use c3rev2 or durock in the rebuild ill be doing in the future. thanks for the reaction :)
Did using dielectric grease on the wires with holee mod make the stabs feel mushy? Or is it fine if you either use a thin amount of dielectric grease or thin bandaid? btw great sounding build, 10/10 :)
yeah for my taste i like cherry clip in more than durock, cause its cheaper, easy to use, and as long youre good on tuning it its sound better than durock
They are called succulents because store water as a thick sap in their leaves, making their leaves have that typical turgidity. This is because they were originally found in deserts and dry regions. 'Sucus' is latin for 'sap', hence the name 'succulent', basically meaning containing lots of sap.

Hey hamaji, at 8:10, AxiomStudios used an MX lock switch because, as expected, when you press the keyswitch it locks into place. You know, perfect for a CAPS LOCK
Nice job Anzel, I really like the aesthetic and that the board doesn't sound hollow or pingy, or reverb-y it simply sounds like the switches, which I think is incredible. I paused the video to write this comment, so good job man. It's boards like these that give inspiration and make you want to keep building boards.
The buckling spring switch is a switch that simply uses a bending or buckling spring to work. When a key is pushed, the spring underneath will slightly compress until it bends or buckles to one side. These types of switches were popular in the 1980s and early 1990s.
Number 3, omg. Cool vintage look, but it sounds like someone digging through Legos. A 20 gallon pail of them. But building a Raspberry pi inside that keyboard case would be pretty different.
the first keyboard with the novelkey creams, that person did some good lubing because usually they would be a little scratchy but that persons novelkey creams sounded great
I got appendicitis 4 years ago. during that time I was in school. I got a sudden stomachache and told my teacher if I could go to the bathroom. the pain didn't decrease so I asked my teacher if I could get picked up from school. she told me that I was hungry and I should eat more, but that is what causes it. the reason I got appendicitis is that my appendix had been blocked by food. My doctor told me that eating food will only increase the pain, so my teacher was dead wrong. after I ate a snack, the pain started to hurt more and more and my parents picked me up from school. a few hours after when I was in the hospital, the pain went away and I got surgery.
Honestly you should try one of the *''NIZ'' EC* boards from aliexpress. Not kidding, by the way. Typing on one of those stock literally gets me comments on discord like ''is it raining over there or something or what am I hearing?" (I have a TKL version of their Electrocapacative boards). It's different from Topre, but it's by far my most unique sounding board. And for some reason, the stabs on it are better than on most stock boards I've had under 200. The only really bad thing is the inconsistent font on the PBT keycaps they offer stock, which are also like a unique profile. But look them up, they're quite unknown but *absolutely* awesome. They're completely unique though, as they're the only readily available Topre-alternatives that don't suck. They just come with 35g switches stock though so it's literally like you're typing on air, but a quick 55-65g mod can change up the feel and thock even more.
I am looking for a Keycap set that can work for either Keychron K2 or RK84 that has a keycap design that has both windows and mac keys. For example, a keycap that has the command sign and the windows button on it at the same time...
im new to custom keyboard, and i have this idea of doing creamsicles with milky tops for the future builds. then finally i saw someone do it and it actually sounds good.
I felt strongly I should tune my keyboards again, which I was very happy with before seeing your video. I did everything I knew to reduce the space and shift key rattling sound but was unable to eliminate it completely. How I wish I've seen the holee mod before building it.
I think you should try a build around the psd60. It is a aluminum 60% case. It is basically like a $60 spinoff of the tofu60 and it looks pretty decent.

clearly hamaji isnt ready fo buckling springs/solenoid yet. but im glad hes liking clack now.

Original cherry clip ins are some of the best stabs you can get, thats why Lysol went with them
