So the Rainy 75 used in this video was the most expensive of the 3 versions, I have the one-down model, because I liked the colored glass thing backplate more, but God it sounds amazing, glad to see you review it. Mine sounds a little different since my model and the most expensive one have different switches, but they are still really close
Love how you're making content again!!! Love your style, and I really hope you continue to cover both entry and high end keyboard, rather than only doing videos on sub $100 keyboards. Keep it up man, but still, regardless of everything, take care of yourself and don't push yourself too hard. Your health and well-being is the most important so remember to put yourself first!
Haha, no, but the effort that you put in the video was obvious, which can get very fatiguing when you constantly keep the quality so high, so yea, just wanted to remind u to stay healthy!😊
the rainy75 sounds soooo good, i would even argue thast it sounds better than the most expensive keyboard. But i wasnt there so i have no idea how the feeling compares when typing, or the quality of the two products. I myself own a mechanical keyboard, i have a quite creamy one. A gmk67 with KTT Kang White switches, with the tempest tape mod, case foams and i lubed the stock stabilizers.
Rainy75 getting ALL of the positive coverage. Now I want to see orders getting fulfilled and the board go properly in-stock. Really enjoying mine so far. If you get around to it, try re-building yours with just the case foam and a snappy, heavy tactile switch. I tried mine with Dukharo MO Green v2's and it slapped.
Rainy75 has to be the greatest bang for the buck custom keyboard humanity has ever created so far. Some people (that I don't agree with) say that it rivals the jelly evolv lol
Why don't you agree? Soundwise it's exactly the same mainly because of pe foam and without foam the evolv does not sound very good. Of course the evolv has history and is much more of a collectible, but other than that it's overpriced
real ones know that it's a reupload jokes aside, this video was so well made seeing how far mechanical keyboards has come from the pandemic to having high quality at such a low price has been so cool to experience can't wait for the next video
Um, this is probably not a good place to ask but im building my first ever keyboard. I am using a Polycarbonate plate and decided not to use plate foam. When I put the PCB(tape mod and has 1 layer of PE foam) and the plate together and put back on the skirt(required to assemble the keyboard), the bottom row of the plate keeps getting pushed down by the skirt causing the switches to pop up. And even with plate foam, the plate still get pushed down(still only the bottom row) Pls someone that has experience help pls!!!
EE I don't quite understand the low current mode you explained for the power banks. Devices will only pull as much current as they need (if the supplier can provide). Meaning if your power bank does 3A and your headphones only need 1A, the headphones will only draw 1A one way or another. The better explanation imo. would be, is there is the lower power mode if you just want to charge your devices on a slower charge to keep battery life stronk.
WOBKEY Rainy75 - It has wireless 2.4Ghz (1000Hz polling) along with QMK/VIA support and I would have gone for it or at least would have considered it, but where I live it comes to $150, definitely one should go for if at advertised price or on sale. Personally, after comparing it to the Epomaker TH80 Pro v2, I went with Keychron V1 Max, as an upgrade to my trusty and modded Keychron K2 v2 (which sounds and feels awesome after mods).
Hey man im a viewer form a few years ago i loved your old tf2 videos. I'm now interested in modding keyboards and i found you again hope you are doing good.
by any chance do you know which switches are in the rainy75, im trying to get myself one cuz of the fabulous sound, but im not sure which option to choose
that's the pro model you can tell because of the stainless steel weight on the back, the regular model has the glass back. so that's the jwick wob switches.
I advise not to type when the keyboard is submerged since cheap stuff might not be made well and there might be shorts. better to save yourself from electrocution.
You play with your life bro. Put a eletric equipament with wired connected in eletric network submersive water and put your hand in this water...Man. If this keyboard are not waterproof you can toast your entire body with eletric.
no keyboards were harmed in this video.
are you sure 🧐
you sure?
I am sniper tf2
Except for the ones that were right?
no comment

I ended up with ordering Keychron V1 Max as an upgrade to my old and trusty modded K2 v2.

Use a fr4 plate should fix it. Maybe the switches your using are too thin
I came for the ads to be honest. Skipped all the keyboard content
I might as well get dual gpu or wait for the screen keyboard for the most expensive custome one.
TX stabs? I'd advise against lubing them, I did and they get super sluggish and slow responding.
Love the content! Keep it up man.
I wish I had a keyboard

First time seeing Hamaji with a pe foam board

You should have reviewed the BUGHA keyboard
You mean the shitty keyboard
Hey Hamaji! Great video. Do you still play any TF2 or did you quit entirely?
Buzzfeed's Food "Worth it" meets mechanical keyboards. I love it.
have you reviewed the ajazz ak820 i haven't seen many videos of it but apparently it's an insanely good keyboard that's really budget aswell.
so you wont be dunking the rainy75 in water as well? I mean it even got RAIN in the name..
man went mr diy to find keyboard lmaooo
Hey man im a viewer form a few years ago i loved your old tf2 videos. I'm now interested in modding keyboards and i found you again hope you are doing good.
as a proud fish gamer, i see the 9$ keyboard as an absolute win
Is the Rainy75 available in Europe with an ISO layout.
Or is this another great, sold out groupbuy ansi board?
wouldve love to hear a no foam sound test on the last keyboard. Maybe a YTshort idea wink wink
by any chance do you know which switches are in the rainy75, im trying to get myself one cuz of the fabulous sound, but im not sure which option to choose
