Just a little heads up for Americans who don't know about windmills. In Denmark we get around 50% of our electricity from wind mills. On windy days that number goes up to 100% and we start exporting to neighboring countries because we generate more than we can use. We also have a healthy industry of windmill producing companies who make for our own needs and export to the rest of the world, earning us a pretty penny. Our biggest windmill producer Vestas has reinvigorated communities that were experiencing economic down-turns from closing manufacturing.

He's technically a "Special Deputy", not a full Deputy, which qualifies as being officially deputized but only has powers for certain things. They can't just go around responding to 911 calls, investigating all crimes or arresting everyone they think has committed a crime. He'd almost certainly be liable for crimes himself if he actually tried to insert himself into things like that, and a target of lawsuits from anybody he victimized with abuse of power, but of course such a lawsuit could take a decade to play out with the money and power he'd have at his disposal.
No matter how bad you think Trump is, he is far, far worse.
