Harrison Ford strikes me as the type of guy where if you are friends with his kid and went to hang out at his home, when you first meet him, he scares the bejeezus out of you thinking he is really strict/fierce. Until he starts speaking to you/pranks you and you realize he's super fun and warm.
My dad acts exactly like him between his sense of humor and mannerisms. I know it's not on purpose, he's just always been that way. He tried so hard at scaring my 2 best friends away when we were younger, and to this day, they both still call him "dad." (Both of their birth fathers passed away when they were very young) Now he tells me that he loves them more and I was a stray he adopted. Lol. Which technically...is true. He is my sisters father but he has been Dad to me since the age of 1. He has a rough exterior that closely resembles the crypt keeper but has thee biggest soft goey heart underneath that he doesn't let just anyone see. I know I have a birth father out there but I have a Dad and he chose me.
The beauty of Harrison is he doesn't take his celebrity very seriously. He seems to love living life being as normal as possible, with a hilarious wit to boot.
Harrison Ford and Ryan Gosling have the same sense of humor ,very glib ,you can never actually tell when they’re joking ,being serous or plain smart asses ,I love it .

I ran into Harrison Ford a decade ago at the Sticker Store in the Farmer's Mkt in LA. He is lovely, kind, humble, and also very attractive :) Looking forward to S2 of Shrinking.
I don't know how he discovered it but he really loves a martini bar here in fort Wayne Indiana. He comes and visits fairly regularly and everybody that's ever interacted with him says that he is one of the most down-to-earth human beings
Some enchanted evening was a reference to him singing it in a scene from Amercian Grafitti way back in the begining of his career, which i was waiting for Jimmy to acknowledge.
This scene was originally cut from the initial theatrical release of "American Graffiti" because the studio didn't want to pay for the music rights to include it in the film. After the success of "Star Wars", George Lucas got the studio to re-release the film with all of the scenes they cut over his objections and that is what is available today.
I was 16 when Star Wars hit the theaters, but there were no movie houses in western Canada that could show it in true 70mm format. We drove to Seattle from Vancouver to see it. Worth it!

The seats, the slope, the view, the screen... I think the armrests even had cup holders. That was virtually unheard of back in those days. Am I misremembering it? I first seen Star wars in the San Francisco area. It was at one of their super large movie theater. I remember the rumble of the engines from the sound. It was so awesome!

Yes, Harrison has a unique sense of humor and timing, but he was struggling a little communicating -- he's 82, so it's OK. Despite Kimmel being one of the more cynical hosts on late night, he is a total class guy. You can tell by how his guests respond to him. They know, at his core, Kimmel is a very decent person.

I love Harrison. He is a great actor! Gotta watch him carefully when he presents his famous lines in the movies. He hesitates, his head lifts up slightly, then his eye brows kinda tilt upwards just before he says his line and you know a great line is coming next. I have met a lot of actors in my 68 years, but unfortunately I have not had the great pleasure to ever meet Harrison in person. My favorite line is still from "Air Force One" near the end - "Get off my plane!"

Ford strikes me as an impatient man, that does not suffer fools lightly, tolerates the required promoting of his various endeavors....but, still possesses enough charm to balance the scales of civility. Good guy.
Harrison Ford spoke very little, but he just made the show so enjoyable. A great actor. Jimmy seemed to have enjoyed the show more than anyone else. 😅😅😅
