Hi Cody and Kellie, I am a former Arkansan now transplanted to Maine! I was recently in LR and visited Guillermo's, which is very near my daughters home. One of our faves too, although I buy the Velvet Hammer! I also visited the Origami Sake brewery in HS which I learned about thanks to YOU!! Thanks for showing so much of Arkansas! I love Maine now - even in the cold! However, I also love so much of Arkansas! We are BDW hosts so if you every want to chase the good weather in summer let us know!!
I really enjoy your channel. Just a thought, I am a retired firefighter/EMT and you never want to put your feet up on the dash while driving. If the airbags were to go off the injury to your legs and pelvis would be substantial from the airbag deployment. Thanks, Stay safe.
Stay there it's so cold everywhere, I live in ohio, but there's not a lot of snow yet but I ts coming. Today is Sunday are low yonight is 0 that's with out Wind chil. They say the storm this week is going to be bad .i don't no I talk to sis also close yo Dallas. It was 13'..... just batten down is all I say I'll prat for you make sure you got lots of propane... prayers
Come to California! Lots of mountain bike trails on Highway 9 Santa Cruz area, U Conn, Bear Mountain n many more. Smithwoods RV Resort, Cotillion Gardens RV Park or Mooch dock in my driveway. There are lots of Brewery’s n wineries here in Livermore!
The dinosaur cage was erected a while back because criminals used large saws to cut out and steal the biggest prints for sale. The remaining prints you see now are saved because of the large cage surrounding them. I lived near the prints many years before the thefts and cage and it was great to walk among the dinosaurs, so to speak.
Yall are cracking me up running from the cold. I am right there with you! The WIND is my thorn! Hate it! We are in AZ desert, lil warmer esp this coming week!
While Cody's riding his bike like a bear is chasing him, Kellie is taken her time, enjoying the scenery 😄. Your dinner looks delicious 😋 as usual though I add ginger to my sauce for my salmon 🐟 🐠 🎣. Stay safe & warm y'all 😊
I'm from Los Angeles and there's almost never a winter there lol.. LOTS of hiking/outdoor activities year round in SOCAL. Ever considered wintering there? Or Mexico! It's amazing in Mexico this time of year and winter is actually my favorite time to be there. There's a big nomad (RV/Van) community that frequent the Baja California area from what I hear. Maybe consider that as winter continues? But if you're wanting sunshine, check out SOCAL (not just LA but the outskirts also).. Good Luck and stay warm, I'm currently breaking from my road trip in the gulf coast and freezing lol
I guessed correctly. 😊 I said you were headed to Terlingua. That entire area is a great place to visit this time of year. We were there two years ago this month. I’m at home this winter taking care of my grandchildren this winter, but hubby is out and about. He just left Quartszite and headed back to Phoenix because he has doctor appointments. Enjoy the warmth! so glad you got out of East Texas before all this hits because it’s supposed to get really really bad there. I hope your family stays warm and safe back home.
If you are Texas you should check out spider mountain in burnet. It has a ski lift for bikes. The runs are like ski runs. Blue diamond. Black diamond. Y’all would probably enjoy it
I don't know how i missed this one, and the next one, but i really enjoyed this...now on to the next. Oh, i Love your new ring Cody! Your poor knuckle, It won't feel too good 10 yrs from now, or sooner.
Well…. I have the perfect place for your escape to good weather. Southern California. It is stellar right now!!! We are in San Diego currently in our RV. It is sunny, clear and warm!! I can’t believe it’s January!! Today it was 67-68. At night 59. Couldn’t ask for better :) You need to start up your truck and come on out!!!!! We’ve been watching you two for about 6months. Hubby is so tired of me saying “they’re so cute!” after every episode! Lol Vicki &Rob in Cal
Great video you two. Love the longer video, its so enjoyable. guessing you won't be heading my way anytime soon....... I'm in Des Moines, Iowa and we just had 3 days of blizzard conditions and a week with about 20 inches of snow total. 45 mph wind gusts for days and drifts 3-4 ft tall. Now the artic air is here. Last night at bedtime the "feel like" temp was 45 below zero. No warm up in sight, so enjoy the good temps for all of us who are trapped in a polar vortex of misery............lol love you both
When using your cast iron get it Smokin Hot you want to close the pores of the iron then turn it down add your oil or butter turn it back up to your temperature put your eggs on it don't flip it until it's almost done you will not have your eggs sticking to the pan if they are try that method again until it does not stick it's closing the pores of the iron
Cody mentioning the cattle guard reminded me of when we were in Canada last summer and saw a road sign for a "Texas Gate"... lol, a cattle guard! We had a good laugh since we raise cattle. I love finding off the grid things, like your dinosaur tracks. Happy travels 😊.
I live a few miles from the San Angelo state park where ya'll camped . I would have enjoyed meeting the both of you and bought dinner. Enjoy your videos of your adventures. Mike
12:50. One of the greait things about travel is seeing wildlife you've only seen in video or pictures. I saw my first wild hog or javalina at a campground in east Texas. My first armadillo, otter and walking stick in Central Arkansas. Also my first time hosting ticks and chiggers on my skin snd and being bitten on the ankle by a venomous snaky. Proby a copperhead. Fortunately it struck my thick socks and was a small dnaket. Just swelled up and turned black a few days. Then itchy as hell for a week.
Those long horns certainly have LONG horns. Impressive. Don’t blame you from getting away from the cold. Watching on news, some states have been hit hard with snow & blizzards. Here in Victoria Australia we are into our summer. I don’t mind the heat but the humidity, which we are not used to. I hate with vengeance. Some days it’s been 100%. Today is a good day temp 27.7 but feels like 28.7. When you get high temps & humidity throw in thunder lightning storms. It’s like old father is throwing a massive hissy fit. Cody your photography is amazing. Cheers guys Lynne Victoria Australia 🇦🇺🐨👋🏻💙💜
Thank you Kellie an Cody needed this Video. ❤ ☀ Here in West Coast Canada sitting at minus 29C to minus 40C it is very Cold. Can't wait for the next one.. Sending Huge Hugs
Yes, the weather extremes can be frustrating. Your eggplant sandwiches looked so yummy. I'm going to remember that one. Thanks Kellie! Glad to see you got a small space heater. I use one in my Class C when needed. So quiet compared to the propane so I sleep much better. Stay cozy and safe!
I just recently started watching y'all..I'm from South Carolina Myrtle Beach.. live in Illinois now 😢.. but anyway I do everything that your do.. just when we can.. you guys gave me a lot of inspirational I would like to order a recipe book one day soon.. I just want to say be safe out there Cody and Kellie... sincerely Your new fan...
My wife and I are headed to Texas in about 8 days as an inaugural trip in our truck camper. We are concerned about the weather but I guess it will be warmer than here in Colorado. Great video.
Holy Moly! Kellie, that fried eggplant sandwich looked fantastic! My wife went straight for your cookbook looking for it, but don't think it was there. Cody, ouch! that ring finger still looks like it hurts! I've seen horrible accidents due to rings during my career. I had a minor one in my younger days while moving furniture. Took my ring off and never wore it again. FYI....my wife and I just celebrated our 48th anniversary two days after Christmas. Really enjoy following you guys and your travels. Be safe, stay warm!
Y’all certainly have the right idea to get the heck out of this winter cold nonsense hitting the bulk of the country!! Good job~ ENJOY!! Great vlog! 👍💕✌️
We arrived at San Angelo State Park the day before the 2021 shut down so we didn’t get to a chance to really explore the town. Last winter we returned and I recommend you revisit sometime. There are some great things to see there. We recommend the Angry Cactus; it has the best “high rent” smoke meatloaf my husband has ever had. Safe and happy travels!
Lovely vlog guys as always! I’m with you on trying to stay warm! I DO love to see snow falling though. So peaceful 🥰 I loved the one beautiful horse in the midst of all the longhorns!! Gorgeous 👏 Glad you made it safe to warmer weather. Love y’all 💜
I’m over here crying because I missed this video somehow and come to find out you were in our home town. We have been stationed here for 2.5 years. This is our third time here. Anyway, when you met friends in Texarkana it was too far to meet you. I found you because I love to camp cook and you were doing it in the tent. I was impressed and haven’t stopped watching you.
Jefferson yes! Lots of Bigfoot activity in the area. I had my encounter just south of there back in 1983. Something I wouldn't want to experience again. Within 20 feet of it and the guttural scream of it literally shook my body to the bone! I couldn't move I was so in shock! 😳 Stay warm, it's below 0 here in Wisconsin. 🥶
I'd love to see you cross the border to Mexico but remembered that you didn't have passports. I hope you would some day. It's 15 degrees in Dallas. You made a perfect escape with a bunch of wild animal sightings. I always enjoy those moments the best.
Lived in Tyler for 4 years. I've experienced much colder temps further north but have seen a high of 16° once in Tyler. When you're used to warmer temps there that really jolts you! Unless you have a necessity to be further east I'd head for southern AZ. Can do the LTVA thing on the cheap. Perfect for a truck camper.
I figured it was Big Bend area since Cody was doing a little foreshadowing with his Big Bend T-Shirt on at breakfast. (15:11) LOL. Heading to the State Park side of things in a couple weeks myself. You guys should check into that as well. A little bit different experience. Enjoy the warmer weather. it is 14°F here in Dallas already on this Sunday morning.
Have you ever considered for winter volunteering or workamping in southern Texas state parks? Free full campsites for easy and fun job. Warm and sunny.
You have the right idea getting out of the below-freezing temps. We finally got some 'real winter' winter weather, and it is making things difficult on the homestead in West Michigan. Those javelinas looked bigger than I expected! I have not seen one in person yet, maybe on my next Southwest trip. Safe travels.
I wondered if you were headed to Big Bend. I remembered your videos from there last year. We visited last February and I was hoping to see some javelinas but didn't see any on my trip. I enjoyed the taqueria restaurant that you ate at. It was pretty good! Wish I was there! I'm with you on the cold weather. Currently 0 degrees in Northwest Arkansas with a low of -4 actual temperature tonight. We have several inches of snow. People who aren't from Arkansas often don't realize how cold it can get here. The good news is that it usually only lasts a few days before it warms up again. We are supposed to be 40 on Thursday!
My wife and I live in Washington state and we also live in Florida our kids are here in Washington so this is home base, we drive down every winter and pull a toy hauler trailer ( I have a Goldwing trike ) that we take with us to Florida this year we stayed home I fell off of a ladder and fractured my back and broke my foot I'm recovering nicely and we are making plans to go down at the end of this year, I enjoyed your channel
Hello Kellie and Cody! When you said you had 5 more hours from San Angelo i thought maybe Quartzsite. But Cody's t-shirt was a hint to your destination. It sure was cold last week in northern NM. I wanted to get the heck out of the cold and go to that same area too! Great vlog! And happy trails!
I feel you, guy's! Looking to go deep south to find warm! I have spent 3 days looking online at free and cheap stuff in Florida! Hope we both find ''That spot[s]''!!!
Check out Tivo's Place right next door to the Road Runner Travelers Park where you're staying. Their food is great. Talking about home cooked Mexican food!
In our Lebanese cuisine we do the exact same thing but make tahini sauce with the fried eggplant sandwich ! It is amazing and you should definitely try it out 😊
January and February are the worst months where I live too! No running away from it. The Bison are wondering where the grass is. Love that horse! What were you looking at in that caged area? American's running for the Border for warm weather. Lovely dinner outdoors with a hungry coyote.
Hello Kelly and Cody, this is my neck of the woods, I just got back this weekend from White cliffs in Arkansas. I see your videos that's why I went there. They cut out the native petroglyphs here in CA 😢
🤬
The people stealing relics, have no reason to live 🤬
@@Scrambler85 well that's a bit harsh, but they definitely should be prosecuted.
@jenniferfisher530 I'm tired of liberals giving criminals a pass, they don't care about normal people, I don't care about them
Yall are cracking me up running from the cold. I am right there with you! The WIND is my thorn! Hate it! We are in AZ desert, lil warmer esp this coming week!
Sunny So CA is pretty and warm all winter. You can escape the crowds. Mid 40's for lows and high 60's-70's in the days right now. 🌞
Yes! I'm from there and it is nice in the winter. Most of the time!
I really like your ease of packing up and moving out as compared to the tent days.
Phoenix Arizona
While Cody's riding his bike like a bear is chasing him, Kellie is taken her time, enjoying the scenery 😄. Your dinner looks delicious 😋 as usual though I add ginger to my sauce for my salmon 🐟 🐠 🎣. Stay safe & warm y'all 😊
I know it's a tough life......but it's also an amazing adventurous life!!! Be safe out there!
If I tried to ride fast on those trails I’d hit a tree for sure 😂
Love love the flamenco music at the end❤❤❤
Hey Kellie and Cody, it would be so cool that when you have your TV turned on in the background, you have one of your videos playing.
Today in Wyoming it's 22 with wind chill 14..... 3 days ago it was -14 with wind -28 Thx for sharing..... Good Luck

I’m in San Diego and our temps are in the low 60s.
Here in Dennard Ar we have been at 0 at night. With wind shields feeling like 13 below! I dislike the cold and I don't blame y'all for booking it out!

My wife and I are headed to Texas in about 8 days as an inaugural trip in our truck camper. We are concerned about the weather but I guess it will be warmer than here in Colorado. Great video.
I'm on the N.E. Plains in my arctic 5th wheel. No problems besides blowing through a 30lb propane every 24 hours
It just depends on where you are in Texas
19:05 LOL...Texans. They have to keep their dinosaur tracks caged up. Utah has MANY open dinosaur track spots...none have to be caged.

"Did you guys see the size of that Chicken??" "We're in the spirit world!" That's what those footprints reminded me of.
Love the new wedding ring, it’s really cool and unique. Hope you all are staying warm.

Amazing change of scenery! Keep on keeping on! Safe travels!❤
Come out to Santa Rosa, CA it’s 57°
The Weather Channel, you mean the 'Doom and Gloom Channel'.
Thanks, another great one. We also love going to this part of TX in the winter!!

I hope you guys are doing okay out there I've been in my truck camper since March of last year

It's 75 at Key West. You have been there, but always fun and warm. This was a great video. That salmon had me drooling!!!❤
Stay safe and warm!
Keep on traveling here to Arizona. In the 70s coming up!
Oh yea, its coming. Been wrapping pipes in Houston for my Mom, girlfriend and neighbors last few days. Doing mine today 😅
Good luck with the weather escape. Wish I was there too. :)
Have a great week.
Have you ever considered for winter volunteering or workamping in southern Texas state parks? Free full campsites for easy and fun job. Warm and sunny.
We have thought about it but then we would have time to create and edit content for this channel. Thats why we quit our jobs in the first place.
Mustang Island is in Texas 👍🙏
You have the right idea getting out of the below-freezing temps. We finally got some 'real winter' winter weather, and it is making things difficult on the homestead in West Michigan.
Those javelinas looked bigger than I expected! I have not seen one in person yet, maybe on my next Southwest trip.
Safe travels.
Happy New Year, Cody and Kellie! Have a great safe 2024.
The Longhorns are long! 😂 Too funny!
It's about 15-17 degrees in Dallas. I don't like the cold either considering I'm a southern and I was born in the summer.
The good news is that it usually only lasts a few days before it warms up again. We are supposed to be 40 on Thursday!
You all should drive to San Diego CA. It is nice here. It is cold about 65 today at noon, but not as cold as the rest of the US
That food looks amazing! Yum!!! 😋
Great job cooking Kellie
My wife and I live in Washington state and we also live in Florida our kids are here in Washington so this is home base, we drive down every winter and pull a toy hauler trailer ( I have a Goldwing trike ) that we take with us to Florida this year we stayed home I fell off of a ladder and fractured my back and broke my foot I'm recovering nicely and we are making plans to go down at the end of this year, I enjoyed your channel
Hope you are healed soon. Sending prayers. Thanks for watching

Hi guys! Go to Ajo, Arizona and enjoy some 70 degree weather!

I hope you find a warm peaceful place to stay! I’m always excited to see what your next adventure will be!
💫🧚♂️💫
Wouldn't be a bad time to migrate down to padre island, God bless your winter travels.
The snow skiing is great in Terlingua!
It is Sunday night and it is snowing in Little Rock. You guys need to be somewhere warm!!!!
We found that taco place in Teralinga all because of your previous videos. Also at at a place called DBs BBQ. Awesome.

There were dinosaur foot prints in the cage.
Javelinas are bad mean !
Yep wind chill warnings here in Arkansas-15*!
Glad you can run. I’m just staying in the house!😊
Below 0 f here . Don’t tell the park you have electric heater. Alaska weather south where power outages are ❤
