This is one of the channels that gave me the courage to start my TH-cam channel 9 months ago about self development. Now I have 1,560 subs and > 1,000 hours of watch time. I know it’s not comparable with others but I’m still proud I started because I’ve been learning so many lessons that I could haven’t learned without getting started in the 1st place.

What if being celebrated makes me uncomfortable. Do I draw that boundary? Or do I just cringe through it? Asking for a friend.

The person would let them know afterwards that they appreciate their gesture but rather wouldn’t want that. If they respect them and how they feel about it, they won’t do it again or will find another way that’s subtle and to their liking. If they do it again, I would say they are thinking for themselves to feel good about them performing the celebration. Know that cringing through it may seem the best in order to avoid confrontation but in the end it is disrespecting oneself and how one feels

That’s a sign of low esteem. Why do you not feel worthy of being celebrated? Why does it make you uncomfortable? Maybe dive deep into those questions.
