This is such a great review! I love that you're both stepping outside of your normal genres to try new games. Koudelka seems like a really interesting game that I've never even heard of. Gonna watch this again later!
I knew we'd eventually both get around to a tactics game. When I started this one I thought it was a turn-based survival horror RPG. I think that's why I struggled a bit at first.... Well scratch that I struggled the entire way through 🤣🤣🤣
Knowing where to put my points would have made a huge difference.

You're absolutely right!! Not enough, people talk about it and it's a damn shame that it never got a steam release because I think it could have gotten a few more eyes on the game for sure. It is absolutely like a stage play.

I haven't played this since its release, I'm so tempted to put this on my 2024 list 🤔 I really enjoyed Scott's uncensored commentary coming through with the CRT footage, although I thought there was someone hiding behind me when it first kicked in 😂

Highly recommend checking out the 1st Shadow Hearts game on PS2 it is very good! Also the 2nd game Covenant is also a fun RPG too.
We actually have all the shadow hearts games. We picked up two of them at SEGE last year, and Scott got me the one I was missing for Christmas 😊

Always appreciate an honest opinion and no worries at all. It's not a game for everyone for sure, but playing it the way Scott did and equipping your points properly makes a hell of a difference.

Great review guys! For some reason i always thought Koudelka was just some puzzle game and nothing more. Don't know where i got that image but that's the reason i've never been interested in it.😄

It's a fun one. When you do get around to playing it I suggestion looking up what you might need to know before playing. There's some secret stuff that you might want to go after.

What a fantastic review on a game that is not mentioned often! Watching this makes me want to go play it now! Maybe after I've completed Fallout 4 that I've started 3 days ago. Now that I've watched your review, I'm trying to think about other games that have similar settings (jrpg with horror) and besides Parasite Eve, I can't see any (besides the Shadow Hearts series). Will you be playing Shadow Hearts eventually now that you've played the prequel? Because that's another pricey one to get (which is still on my wishlist, lol)! But like you said, there's still emulation, so I'm in no hurry to get a physical version. I can't wait for your Skies of Arcadia review because that one I've completed, and I can't wait to see how your experience went! Great video and keep up the good work!
We actually picked up two of The shadow heart games at SEGE last year and Scott got me the last one I was missing for Christmas. I definitely want to get around to playing the first one before the end of the year and hopefully Scott will as well. Skies of Arcadia should be out within the next few weeks. We had it completely filmed but Scott ended up having to wear glasses in the video because of his concussion and the lights were making him really nauseous. When I queued the video up on premiere pro to start editing it, we noticed that the microphone died about halfway through. So now we have to refilm it. It's probably for the best because scott will definitely have more fun with it this time around now that he's feeling better.

@@DanofWar101 It took a good 3 weeks for him really to feel back to normal. His neck still hurts from time to time but I think he gave himself whiplash. He got really sick and I think his blood pressure dropped and he dropped. Hit his head in three different spots. Was out for about 8 minutes
