- That's right, another pick ups video! In this one we have lots of co-op games, RPG's but wait...did we get any retro games? We are Retro Rivals after all!!
I'm sure there's a couple.

Threads of Fate and Vandal Hearts were some really nice finds.

I'm really torn. I want to play Stick of Truth next. But I also want to play rule of Rose. But then I also promised RNG gamer. I would play pineview drive. But then I also want to play Final Fantasy 7 rebirth. I'm thinking about quitting my job so I can play more games. I'm going to need to win the lotto.... Also, I'm going to need to play the lotto.
Happy birthday Scott! Love the pickups, can never have enough couch co-op games! I played & talked to the devs of Curse of the Sea Rats back at PAX East 2022, would love to pick that up, enjoyed what I played.
Oh that's so cool that you got to talk to the devs. We haven't had a chance to put it in our console yet and give it some play time but after Square pegs said it was good, we jumped on it!

Some great pickups, that’s nice you have friends to play with, I played co-op once back in 1978 on Atari 2600. Scott’s bread looks so perfect, does he have a personal assistant who combs it before the show? I bought stick of truth a month ago, want to play it soon.
It's the best part about our game room is being able to share the fun with our friends. That's why we're so big on co-op games. Scott does not have a personal beard assistant and it's funny because random strangers in the street have told him nice beard many times 😆

I'm sure you've heard about Scott's concussion.... Yeah that's been fun and then helping my mom move so I'm really backlogged on commenting. I feel terrible!
You have to play the South Park games. They are hilarious. I wanted to play Final Fantasy 7 rebirth next but because Spider-Man is a longer game because I'm doing everything in it, I might play a couple shorter games first. South Park Stick of Truth is one of them

Haven't grabbed FF7 Rebirth, but mostly because I know I won't get to it any time soon, so we'll be able to nab it on the cheap in...6 years from now when we're FINALLY ready to play it.
Scott making me jealous that he helps edit. lol I always hear such praise for SP but neither of us like the show so I don't think we'd vibe on the game.

Kudos on Threads of Fate; that was part of the Square Summer of Adventure trilogy and is woefully underappreciated. It's a title I'm always happy to see somebody pick up and try out.

Ask for ff7 rebirth. I still haven't played it. I probably could have waited a bit but I had some GameStop gift cards so you know I have no excuse really. I just used them LOL
Yeah, the game is going to be a hard sell. If you're not a South Park fan, I wouldn't consider us die hard fans by any stretch of the imagination, but the adult humor gives us a chuckle.
Listen we can all stand on that reseller's suck so box together! They are the bane of our existent!

Threads of fate might get played sooner than later. You know on account of the concussion and I hear it's a pretty chill game.
Good pickups! I never played those two ps1 games, but I'm sure they are good. Love South Part Stick of Truth, but I had no idea it went up in price on the ps4, luckily I got it digitally because Fractured But Whole came with it for free, and I still haven't play Fractured But Whole yet lol
We have so many PS1 games we haven't even played yet and so many more I'm sure we've never even heard of.
Yeah it's weird what jumps up in price and what doesn't. I'm assuming it had a low print run.
Scott and I haven't played the second one yet either. I'm debating playing Stick of Truth next.... Maybe
Can't remember if you got this game, but Sackboy Big Adventure on either the PS4 or PS5 takes Little Big Planet's worlds and simples them down to pretty smart platforming levels for 2-4 players. If you get the special ed, it's got a cute looking lion Sackboy. I was disappointed in it for a while because I wanted my childhood LBP experience, but as I've sat with it, I've appreciated the platforming prowess it shows. big recommend from me!
I think we do have sack boy big adventure. Denis wasn't too keen on playing either but we're going to make him LOL. Happy to hear you came around on it .

Great pick ups, and great video, as always you 2 crack me up, and I didn't know they made Stick of truth for the PS4 as I mentioned in your last video, I traded my PS3 version of Stick of truth, if I decide to buy it again, it will be for the PS4
Yeah I would definitely buy it for the PS4 and if you can get it for cheap even better because it seems to be continuously going up
I want to start Granblue Fantasy so bad! I've got other games in front of it though. The demo sold me on it completely. The Walking Dead season 1 was so so good. That would be a great Halloween game to play. I have to say I got Zombieland digital on sale very cheap and deleted it right off the system. I like twin stick shooters but this one was not for me. Maybe it's a better experince co-op. Great video you two!
You feel about gran blue fantasy exactly how I'm feeling about Final Fantasy 7 rebirth. I really really want to play it next but there's a few games I have to put in front of it just because of it's overwhelming length.... That sounded bad LOL 😂😂😂😂😂
I'm not expecting a lot from zombieland to be honest. Hopefully it's a decent co-op experience at the very worst we'll trade it towards something else
I dont know if I will scoop up snow day but the next rpg southpark game def getting added to the collection the first 2 were so good!
Yeah I'm not hearing great things about snow day. Thank God it was cheap because otherwise I think people would be losing their minds

Get ready to die on Helldiver. Friend and family will show their true self. Hahaha. That goes for HD2 as well. Cya on bug's world. You wont see me on lower difficulty. You might see me on level 9-15 higher difficulty on HD1 bug world. Sig is the same like youtube sig on PS network.
Lol so expect a lot of fighting when we play it. That's basically why we play new Super Mario Bros on the Wii 😂😂😂😂
We have Jumanji too and we played it one night together with the girlfriend and.. Yeah it was kinda bland. Wasn't a fan. I kinda wanna try Helldivers 2 cause people are raving about it so much but i really don't wanna get stuck on some online shooter.😄 I better not take that risk!

Awesome pickups! Scott, you need to play Unicorn Overlord asap! It's a fantastic game! Speaking of fantastic, Vandal Hearts is so good and is a short one for a tactical rpg! I have Threads of Fate, but I haven't played it yet! Jen, keep following your plan because if you do like me, you'll keep jumping from new releases to newer ones and leave FF7 Rebirth on the shelf, lol! My friend recommended me Saint Kotar, and it looks good, so it's also on my want list! The only game that I can think of that is releasing in May is Hellblade 2, which I can't wait to play! I'm at the end Chapter of Triangle Strategy, which I'll finish today, and then I'm starting Eiyuden Chronicle Hundred Heroes that I've received in advance yesterday (that's because I kickstarted it)! It's from the same creators of Suikoden, so Scott, you'll need to get a copy of it when it releases on April 23rd! Great video and keep up the good work!
He's definitely going to be playing unicorn overlord soon since it's a tactic and it might be all he can play for a while. Is something slower pace and not so action focused. Vandal hearts might be up there too as well since you mentioned it's a short one.
I'm playing Spider-Man right now and I said I was going to play rebirth next but lol. I might keep it on the backlog and play two more games before it. It's becoming a problem lol. What did you think of triangle strategy? Scott has it but it's still on the backlog. As are a lot of other games LOL.
Oh, and we definitely pre-ordered Eiyuden Chronicles. Just a few days away now!
@RetroRivals Triangle Strategy was good but a bit overhyped, in my opinion! Unicorn Overlord is way better! Eiyuden so far is amazing! I'm happy to have received my copy in advance!
Granblue Fantasy and Final Fantasy 7 rebirth are tops on my list of games I want to get this year.
I’m currently playing a lot of helldivers 2, if you’ve ever wanted to play in the world of starship troopers this is the perfect game for you.
I hear hell divers and hell divers 2 play a lot different from each other. Have you played the first one?
@@RetroRivalsI actually have not played the first one, which is more of the perspective of a RTS. It seems that the change to 3rd person was exactly what was needed along with some graphical changes to make the game a hit.

You both missed a crucial retro game that you picked up..Cthulhu! Well it has a retro design 😂 Scott you should play threads of fate first because that doesn’t look at as great as the other one.
Well the problem is I haven't played a lot of older games because I only got back into gaming 4 or 5 years ago. It's on the backlog but it's also there with like 1300 other games 😆
