For the price of a balancer puller, longer bolts , and the time, you'd be ahead just buying and having the right tool for the right job. Plus piece of mind that nothings getting janked..
I've got a guestion guys, I had my stater cover off my big bear and replaced my timing chain , I put it back together and now it goes in gear but will not move , did I forget something or is it where it's got new oil and clutch is slipping now , lol this has been a crazy experience,
@@rolandsgarage8640 it all happened after the stater cover was removed and oil drained, I have a new friction disk kit , I wonder if I should do the centrifugal clutch also
@@hamtalker2007 did you soak the disk in oil before install and are you sure you put them Steele disks in the correct way? Have you tried adjusting the clutch? I wouldn’t think removing the stator side would have any affect on the clutches though
@@rolandsgarage8640 I haven't installed the clutch kit yet, only have had stator side off my big bear has high miles over 8500 on the clock so I'm guessing it needs clutch rebuild

why did you leave out the 2 bolts in the flywheel?
