- Quick video for anyone that has a Daytona and is thinking about this up grade. The OEM regulator get to hot and malfunction, so a easy upgrade is to replace it with a late model Yamaha regulator, R1 Bandit1200 and a few others

Sorry for the late response. There are no problems after you change over to the Yamaha Regulator at all. Its a great mod upgrade to a older designed regulator
Hi, very helpful vid, and you also mention about the tank bolt spinning and not coming out and that you have covered this on another video, any chance you could point me in the right direction as I'm struggling to get this bolt out. Cheers
Actually I'm taking them off. I have had LED's on a few bikes and usually use one resistor per indicator. I will check on the actual ones I use. They now make LED's with the resistors built in and there is a relay the you plug in that also does away for the separate resistors.

Hello, thank you for the wonderful video. I have the same bike 04 Daytona and the problem is that the speedo flickers, sometimes there it stays on 0 while I am riding and sometimes it shows 188 or just flickers. There is also a sudden loss of power or the bike hesitates to speed up. Do you know if this could be a problem with my regulator rectifier ?? Thanks
+Krit M its either going to be the stator and/or the rectifier, go threw the diag process on on the link i provided below, had the same issue on my daytona turned out to be the stator went bad.

Someone please tell me exactly what I need to completely replace my charging system. I want a new rectifier and new stator. I want the Yamaha upgrade everyone's talking about. I need that wiring harness you have in the video too but the website doesn't show they have it. Great video but we need more info on getting the parts

How come he uses a Yamaha r1 rectifier but the website says to buy a Polaris rectifier with the harness
