Have noticed when using the turbo timer, after the 90 seconds of running, the car turns off but the radio then turns on for around 3 minutes then shuts off. Interested if you're does the same. Keep the radio up loud prior to activating the turbo timer so you can hear it.
@@paulfrigo9903 oh that’s weird. I always use Bluetooth or CarPlay when listening to music so it turns off when I leave the car but I’ll definitely test this next time
Jesus it took 3 hours to do on my 2018 g80 sport. It seems more involved than the install for the stinger bc I needed to stretch a wire across to the drivers side too. But works great!
@SLW_GT2 spoke too fast. I keep getting check turn signal light warnings almost everytime I start driving :l I wonder why you get a tpms warning instead. And the cooled n heated seats for driver doesn't work anymore, just the passenger side. And their support is kinda ass lol. Do I need to set up the settings (ie auto unlock/door pin/turbo timer/enable function to lock door when engines on) in order to start using it properly? I only really cared about the remote start. And did you set up the mute horn function?
Anyone else have issues with the turbo timer? I tried waiting till the beep finished then holding the bottom for seconds and the car just turns off within about 5 seconds. If I press the button once or even twice instead of holding - same result. Any help or thoughts?
The proximity lock/unlock is dope. Sometimes mine doesn't start in colder weather as well. I wish they would release an update that would engage starter for a couple more cranks. The issue is it doesn't run the starter until it starts... It does like one quick signal, one quick crank, fail/pass test.
Would you say that the number of times it didn't start in cold weather is fairly miniscule or has it been enough to make you think twice about buying it again? Thinking of buying this as a gift, but I know its main use would be for winter time, but it'd suck if they have issues starting it during pretty cold weather. Thanks in advance!
@@chiefhokie no it hasn’t been enough to make me question it. It’s happened twice for me in the past 4 months of ownership. But it seems like it’s not consistent in when it happens. It was super cold this morning like 20°F and it started fine
I purchased this remote starter for my Hyundai. Immediately after plugging it in it shorted out my electrical system. My wiper, headlights and Heat/AC were dead. My car was at the Hyundai dealership for 145 days. The mechanic confirmed the remote starter shorted the system. I just got my car back and the company refuses to reimburse me the $1,800 for repairs. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT
Thanks for the video, especially the details on the turbo timer 👍
Glad you liked it!

@@SLW_GT2 I was using the USB port playing music
I ended up ziptying mine to the open rectangular slot behind the fabric.
Where is that duck lid from? Looks sick!

Ah yeah I’ve heard about that with the Genesis. Good thing it still works though!

Same here. Very annoying.
Ahhh this makes sense. Yeah I’ll sometimes pause to hear if it actually starts in colder weather it’s annoying

@@SLW_GT2 thanks man, I appreciate the response! I think I'm going for it.
What’s the brand and setup on you wheels?
ESR RF2 wheels on a staggered setup. 19x9.5 in the rear and 19x8.5 up front. I made a video a few months back that has a list of all my mods
Do yours have rear heated seats
No mines a 2018 and in the US the 2019+ years have the rear heated seats
Your car did come with Kia connect
