And it did affect them. There are lines in there that women were directly able to compare to things their attackers said to them. Of course the men who wrote it didn't see a problem with them. Robin Thicke however lives up to his name of being thick and still doesn't see it as more than a dance song, other people's experiences be damned. I think the writers were drunk or high when they thought of this . Yea we all know that they were adults when making the show. But they were portrayed as teens. And the thought of a teacher walking around a school with twerking TEENS beside him doesn't seem right to me.
