We were at the vet station BEFORE grooming, not AFTER, as I texted in the video. Sorry.
Ok, so, as you can see, this dog was in horrible condition and he was on the street last TWO YEARS since he run out of the yard of his former owner. This was his very first bath and shaving in the last two years. During this video, we have already adopted him, because we have good contacts on our social media accounts.
I hope that he will be happy in his new home. He is the best Christmas gift for the new family, I'm sure! And the family is the best gift for him.
The former owner doesn't deserve him.

He is probably the most well-behaved dog I have ever seen. He is such a good boy, and I'm glad he is going to a new home.

I had Maltese. I brushed them daily and took them to groomers every 5 weeks (standing appts). If you start the routine as pups they grow to accept it and even enjoy it. Sure miss my girls😢.

What an amazingly laid-back dog! It was so nice to see a groomer who gave the dog a gentle pat now and then. I had a laugh when she/he closed its eyes during the grooming … so funny and so human-like. That’s how we humans act during a relaxing head massage when getting our hair washed at the sink, lol! I hope the lovely dog went to a good owner. 🇨🇦

Glad you have got someone so quickly to take on the responsibility of taking on a dog from the streets. Lord knows how long he had been gone from the home but my guess is he was probably abandoned. Even if I bought two more dogs, if someone called me to say the dog I had "lost" was found, no way would I want anyone else to have that dog - I would go out of my way to have that dog back in my life. So...guessing that dog wasn't well oved. Kind of explains the lack of grooming beforehand.

Thank God he’s angel cane to rescue him, that previous owner should & must never be allowed to own even a mosquito his not a good person to own any type of pets except just himself. If it’s mine and was found I’ll be very happy to give him back but it’s a total lie, he did nit look for him, or intentionally just let him go..😮
The dog is so well behaved during this grooming session that I'm sure it was properly socialized and groomed prior to running away. Only the groomer and the prior owner knows how long this dog was roaming free and it doesn't take long for a coat to grow out and become a mess like this.
If a dog I had lost was recovered I'd also do whatever I could to welcome them back into my home, but who knows what circumstances the previous owner faced. Perhaps they're in a place that limits the number of dogs and they don't have the financial security to just pick up and move and care for an additional dog. Not trying to make excuses, but it's a little unfair to judge when we don't know the whole story.
It really sucks how many monsters walk on this planet... and the former owner of this sweet baby is definitely a monster!!!! I simply do not get it how somebody cannot take this baby back 😢

WHEN I READ THESE GROOMING ACCOUNTS I always wonder how the dogs were in a.......natural.
Or it could be that the dog DID get out and disappear. He’s clearly been on the streets a looong time, it’s reasonable that the former owner got new dogs in that time. It’s also reasonable that he couldn’t now take this one back because of this. We shouldn’t assume they are monsters.
Calling them monsters is just wrong this dog could have actually escaped and couldn't be found
They now have two other dogs, this rules out the possibility that they couldn't take care of a single dog
This dog has a very good temperament, this also rules out the possibility that owners were sick of it or something
How could someone just leave an adorable dog like this on the street for no apparent reason
They definitely did lost it and to replace him they did get two new dogs

This has got to be the best groomer I have ever seen! She was so gentle and thorough with this sweet dog. Usually, you see areas that have been cut, bleeding and scraped but none with this groomer. The dog was so good throughout the grooming. I wonder if the groomer was talking to the little dog during his grooming. I can't believe I watched the whole video but this groomer was just so fantastic. The puppy looks just beautiful and he showed his appreciation to the groomer after it was all done.Where is the groomer located? Would love to see a follow up on his new forever home. I feel sorry for the new dogs that are now with the ex owner. They could be easily discarded like this sweet dog.

I love watching at the great job you do for all of the animals. They truly know how you are helping them and they behave so well and feel so much better. He's such a patient, good boy. He's standing on the grooming table, totally chill. He's so chill when you're doing things that a lot of dogs really hate, like having the head shaved. He'd make a good apartment dog, a good senior citizen dog, a good family dog.

What a well behaved sweetheart! His ex-owner doesn’t deserve to have her. The purpose of having a microchip is to be able to locate the dog if it’s lost, so clearly the ex-owner didn’t try that hard to find her.
