Yeah but that is because they follow the 3 main points. Interesting characters that have little to no connection to the OG main characters and slot into the lore without messing anything up. Mando is a great example of how quick something can get ruined with too much of it, his perfect arc was ruined with more unnecessary content and connections to main characters from previous shows and movies. Mando went full circle and is now a character thrown into other shows like the book of boba fett to keep a dying brand afloat, an ironic fate for a character originally meant to be divorced from the other media.
The wasted potential of Finn will never be forgiven. But facts, it's time to move on into the far future and start a new saga unrelated to characters of the past. But i don't think anyone is brave enough to take that chance, especially given how Disney has virtually no good faith among the fandom
@@mentvltrillness Yeah, that's fair. Part of the reason honestly may have been the cameos, and I thought they worked and weren't too forced. And I loved seeing a version of Luke not ruined by the Sequels
Disney copied the Original Trilogy’s whole flow, word for word bar for bar and that didn’t work out. So now after abandoning the prequels with Episode 7 they’ve come crawling back to them so any decent Star Wars project nowadays is set between Episode 1-2, 2-3, or 3-4. *”Ironic.”* -Sheev Palpatine
Disney actually think making Ray No Name -Palpentine the next "Obi Wan Kenobi", is gonna be a good idea?, Then they in for a rude awakening once there movies continue to Flop at the Box Office 😂😂😂
My idea for a revision of the sequels: -The Sequel's version of the Emperor is going to be Starkiller. -Kylo Ren is the same, but in the last movie he becomes a Jedi, his outfit now white and his lightsaber from a crackling red to a steady beam of white, like the Darksaber -After failing to destroy the main protagonists, Starkiller nearly kills Kylo, but he survives by using his Dark Side rage. Starkiller now uses the Knights of Ren as his own soldiers. -Rey is a Mandolorian. I feel like making her a badass Mandolorian would give her a unique character. -Finn is the main Jedi. -Luke Skywalker sacrifices himself for Finn the same way Obi-Wan sacrificed himself for Luke. -Starkiller tries to turn Finn, but Rey keeps Finn in the Light by being a love interest. -The random ass Stormtrooper that called Finn a traitor? Yeah, now he's Finn's best friend that Finn left to die when he left for the Republic. This made the Stormtrooper pissed off at Finn, therefore fighting and Finn is forced to kill him, his first step in the dark side. That's about all I've got.
I defended modern Star Wars on the fumes of Rogue One, Mandalorian season 1. But the Obi Wan mini series broke me. Now I only wait for trusted reviews and see if it’s worth my time.
love the content bro I seen every video so far, but I noticed a pattern. Id recommend instead of explaining and summarizing each phase for half the video and then breaking down each phase for the other half, just mention the phases in the beginning and go right into them in depth, otherwise its redundant. keep it up tho gang i like watchu be puttin out
Mando had so much promise with the first two seasons… and then it fell apart like everything else when Season 3 rolled around. Now I’m not hopeful for the movie release at all. Watch Andor also fall flat on its face when season 2 drops.
I'm not the biggest star wars fans but all I can tell you is plain and simple they keep hiring people who don't know the franchise and understand the fans or people that treat the franchise like cringey fan fics. All the fans want is a good story with compelling character. There are fans who can actually tell better stories and world building than the actual writers. Once the announced a new trilogy I immediately thought about them rehashing the sequel trilogy like they did the last one. And considering the new writer is the one who made Dark Phoenix and 2015 fantastic four I immediately lost faith
Star Trek has managed to do what Star Wars has been unable to. Unfortunately I hear Star Trek has been crap lately. But regardless, continuing to diminish the quality of older characters and whatnot has drastically reduced the brand. Disney has made Star Wars into a trash heap only after owning it for 10 years.
What they really need to to is turn the KOTOR games into a movie or show. Do I trust Disney to do it well? No. But if they were to do it well, it would be amazing. I think the games are fine on their own, but unfortunately not everyone wants to play twenty-year-old games, and it would allow others to see the awesomeness that is Revan and such. I mean there are fanfilms about him that are 1000x better than the Sequels combined
I feel like the Jedi survivor games have their own love and shelter from the mainstream movies and such because cal kestis is a well written character to me and so far Disney hasn't had their grips on him to ruin his character and the next game will be the last to close out his saga
Ok, I loved the Mandolorian, but I do agree on the other points. Like, Boba, how you gon have a mf that doesn’t show his face, steal your show. Seriously, that Boba Fett show wasn’t interesting until Mando pulled up.
No, Andor, Clone wars, And Mando S1 were good Solo had pan sexual lando and radical droid activist Ashoka is a shitshow that’ll take too long to explain Obiwan show bait n switched us with a actor clearly not fit for the role of the main antagonist Force awakens and last Jedi were copy pasted of OG trilogy, you are (hopefully) trolling, or you for real can’t tell what good quality is
@ not trolling, I like all those projects, the reasons you gave are your own opinions. Im allowed to have my own opinions, and I choose to be positive about a franchise that I like instead of hating everything and still calling myself a “fan”
3:10 bruh u wouldn't feel the way u do about the skywalkers if u read a book once in a while. The legends books covering everything that happened after ot movies are almost always straight fire. the problem is that these stories dont conform to the ideology that most people at lucasfilm (including darth kennedy) believe in. Luke Skywalker and so many other characters including new ones were unbelievably great. Mara Jade Skywalker is a great example. She doesn't exist in canon but instead in legends. On the surface she appears to be what folks like darth kennedy would want in star wars. U know why she decided not to use her character? Bc she didn't create her. It's an ego thing. But seriously dude go read a legends star wars book. I promise u won't regret it.
Andor isn't bad, but it's awfully slow and tedious. Mando S1 is alright, but not great. Other than those two, Star Wars has been ass since Disney took over.
After watching hrs of star wars content, it felt like a whiplash bcz of the variations in quality A new hope, empire strikes back, clone wars, rebels, andor, tales of the jedi were great Return of the jedi, rogue one, mando s1&2 were pretty good But the rest was just horrible like all the prequels n sequels, mando s3, Ashoka, bobf, obi wan
Finally someone else acknowledges how boring it is having stories revolve around the same 6 characters. We need the old republic!
Huge respect for my man not being afraid to diss out Mandalorian.
Mandalorian S1, Andor and Rogue one was pretty good

Just makes me appreciate Jedi Fallen Order even more even if it's not a show. Characters are unique and the story dynamic is really intriguing.
You know what could be more awesome!? A Clone Holding a Lightsaber!!
At least the first Mandalorian season is okay
And we got andor so yeah
The first two were good imo. The third was definitely mid, but I still somewhat enjoyed it only for Din and Grogu
@@QuatarTarandirI like s2 but let's be real, it was basically a cameo fest

Let Dennis Villanueve make a Star Wars movie I mean holy shit. Imagine blade runner 2049 but for Star Wars. It would literally be perfect
"Please stop releasing these half-as** projects!"
No problem bro, they just announce them and quietly cancel a few months later. 😂

You are right, need new stories
All they need to do is make a 8 episode show of Anakin and padme

Real talk what happened to you star wars. What did they do to you
we want to see new stories! but we also want to see GOOD new stories!
There is no fixing Star Wars or Marvel at this point. They are too far gone.
Andor the only good star wars show

I do appreciate Rogue One and Han Solo movie. Also clone wars is goated.

At least Andor was great
At least andor s2 is coming out

the old republic
Darth Revan
Darth Vitiate
