Apparently the whole Magneto shenanigans happened because one of the main writers saw himself in Magneto, and made him his own self insert, and he also had a fictional crush on Rogue. So he start moving some sticks and it turned out into what it did. He is, allegedly, so extremely obsessed with this ship and with humilhating Gambit that he ended up getting fired after the Season finale.
In my humble opinion, Lois is at least better because we actively see her trying to figure out who Superman is, and then after some confusion, she is actually supportive and both Clark and Lois are in a solid relationship
100000% she has daddy issues stemming from lying too. Clark wanted to trust her but needed time, she just figured out before he could. Her of all these examples makes sense

@@lorenzoditrolio6680 Yup! It was just bad timing on the show runners part. Had this come out before Invincible, then no one would have an issue with it
The show played on some cliches which I thought was its best strength because it didn’t try to pretend it was “original “ it played on the drama for a few episodes and moved it along
One of the worst is the type of ones in anime that go, *”I’m so useless…”* when they get saved, only for the writer to forget about them wanting to get stronger so the love interest doesn’t get stronger so at least fifty scenes of them saying how useless they are exist.
@@pettybee3860 No cap, she's proved to be stronger so many time but sometimes Kishimoto forget his own character strength (she literally got yeeted by Karui lmao)
I hate when people in a relationship get mad at heroes hiding their identity like, you're still alive because of them. And if an enemy found out the hero is in a relationship they wouldn't rest until they gotten though them through their love interest.
I agree they shouldn't be mad,but how does the argument of the villain hurting them work? What difference will it make if they know the secret or not, won't they hurt them anyway? All the love interest has to do is keep the secret.
What I find interesting about this it is Donald Blake/Thor in the first Thor run. He refused to date Jane Foster despite mutual attraction because he couldn’t tell her that he’s Thor, but also didn’t want to lie to her about an integral part of who he is. So he didn’t date her.
Keeping your loved one in the dark isn’t going to stop your enemies from coming for them? Say your significant other is messing with the Mexican cartel, don’t you think you’d want to know so you can weigh the risks of being around that person?
@@WikiThis While I agree it is a very tired trope, probably hold over from the original comics or something. I understand that writers want to capture that feeling of betrayal. It’s visceral, and it makes for great television when it’s done right. The problem is that the writers always seem to forget that the audience is not Lois lane. Or at least fail to take into account that the audience sometimes forgets that Lois lane is not us. The realization that Clark Kent is Superman hits differently when we, as the audience, have all the information that Lois doesn’t. We already know his secret identity, so we miss out on the shock factor that would otherwise be present if we were discovering it for the first time. Furthermore, I feel like the writers were going for the “It’s not that you lied, it’s that you did it so easily” trope, which is cool when done properly. The problem there is they’re not officially a couple, so it loses a lot of its narrative punch. Yes there’s the whole “unspoken feelings” bit going throughout the first season, but the audience is smart enough to know that at this stage in their relationship, Lois doesn’t really have a valid reason to be mad at Clark. And as far as the secret identity trope as a whole, I agree that it too is pretty tired at this point. Does keeping your significant other in the dark about your secret superhero life make a difference? Arguably. At a certain point it’s not about them knowing their lover’s secret identity, it’s about the bad guy’s knowing they know. You can’t give up a secret that you don’t know. I would personally prefer if writers push deeper than that, and make it about the hero trying to keep their work/superhero/normal life separate. In Lois’ defense, I think it was supposed to be less about Clark not telling Lois he was Superman, and more about him lying to her so easily about it, mixed with all the repressed emotions between the two of them, but the execution just didn’t deliver. TLDR should heroes tell their significant others about their secret identity? At some point, probably. Do the significant others have a right to be angry? Depends on what the writers are going for. Was it done well in this case? Not really. In my opinion, Lois basically tried to gaslight Clark into thinking it was entirely his fault, and Clark rolled over too soon. I feel like he if he’d been a bit more upset at the fact that he’s being called a liar, despite having several very valid reasons for wanting to keep the whole “Superman” under wraps.
I know in my examples it wasn't love interests but in Arrow. Moria figured out that Oliver was the hood and she was proud of him. also later Oliver tells Thea his secret and she does not get mad at her brother, she is releived as she felt some resentment about his constant lies but with the truth coming out she realizes all those lies were him going out to help people. it was so nice to see peple not getting upset.
I've seen Rouge's behavior in real life. While one partner didn't care for another when alive, after death, they act like they love her. And these "acting" is in front of other people. When no one is looking, he reverts back to normal.
Here’s my issue with the whole “well Rogue can’t touch Gambit without killing him” argument: There are collars that can disable mutant powers. She could just wear that whenever she wants to get intimate with her boyfriend or exchange any high-fives, and then take off the collar whenever she needs to use her superpowers. When you look at it like that, her powers are more of an inconvenience than a curse.
2:07 Original Rogue was my crush as a kid, and a solid crush now. Because of her if I get called sugar by a lady with a southern accent I'ma melt in their arms, RIP Real Rogue
So did Magneto when he try to sacrifice himself to save Rouge AND Gambit from the Sentinel blast. I feel that small part skip everyones thought process when both of them were trying to save the mutants.
@@apache8795 The giant sentinel attack Magneto causing the statue to fell, it wasn't partially his fault. You have to expect casualties while trying to defend the many people around ya. You don't think the other X-Men would be in that same scenario as well!

Good news, My adventures with Superman finally gives Lois Lane a personality and reasonable rationale. She realized Clark was superman, waited for him to come forward and got angry that she was left out. BUT, like a rational and well rounded character, after talking with Clark she understood his perspective more and supported him as she had before. The frustration was more so about the lack of trust in her rather than the secret itself, the secret could have been that he puts milk before cereal lol. Plus, she is a certified badass in the show, the complete opposite of OG Lois. Amber is just a bad girlfriend and friend overall. She gets mad, shuts down, puts up barriers, and then instead of communication she gaslights and ghosts him. MIRACULOUSLY, Amber only starts caring about fixing their relationship when another woman comes into Marks life. She didn't change because she cared, she changed because someone was making a move on her Mark. Not to mention at no point in the series did these two have any chemistry.
Finally someone says it! I hate how people compare Lois to Amber! Lois is meant to be a flawed character who slowly grows and learns from her mistakes. She’s honestly my favorite character in the show especially after season 2 where we got to learn a lot more about her.
What’s ironic is that the Comic Amber was the complete opposite of Cartoon Amber. Mark told her his identity and they tried to work the relationship out but they had to break it off mutually. So much better.
@@ChadBenjamin Alright that is completely fair. I looked into it and you are right. Unfortunately most of my knowledge of her and exposure was from the Superman movies / shows, of which my basis was on. But yes comic book Lois is pretty awesome :D
Remember my brothers, if she ain't supportive of you like you are of her, she doesn't deserve you. Leave that scummy b and find someone who will make you feel like a king as you treat her like a queen.
With Lois, it's not solely about the "lie." Moreso about what pushed her to that point. Yes, she figures out Clark is Superman, but Lois at least tries to let Clark know he can tell her anything, but of course, Clark doesn't get it. Unlike Amber, Lois is shown to be worried about Clark, and when he comes back to her hurt and lies about the injury, Lois can't take it anymore. She's still wrong, but there's more to why Lois is upset, and she admits when she's wrong and tries to make things right.
It was the lies for Amber. She was worried about him too. And she was always pro saving people, she literally works in the homeless shelter and rushed to help people in the robot fight. Unlike Lois who wasn't dating Clark, Amber was and she told him twice to break up with her if he wasn't ready
@@beccaogundipe7420 Yeah, Amber was one about helping people. Sure, Amber and Mark were dating, and even though Lois and Clark weren't dating yet, they were adults. However, the issue with Amber, aside from what you said, is that she knew Mark was invincible but didn't try to let Mark know he could tell her or come at it like Jimmy did with Clark. Especially when the show bends over backward to make Amber be in the right even though she's not. We get to understand Lois, Clark, and Jimmy's perspectives on this, but I can't say we get the same opportunity for Amber. We don't get a deeper understanding of her side of things. Mark is the one who got that opportunity.
I'm so glad someone else spoke about Rogue and her 'My Man' thing because listen honey I'm a Rogue person like any other guy but you don't deserve to say that after what you did. On another personal opinion note I wouldn't let her back on the X-Men team she chose her side of the line and she needs to stay there.
Agreed, but taking accountability for your actions and having to live with those consequences are concepts that's not understood by a lot of people in this day and age. Don't be surprised that even after everything she did, Rogue ends up being easily forgiven and rewarded.
Gambit did deserve so much better, but at least his "remember it" moment was the highlight of X-Men '97. I'm assuming that when Apocalypse brings Gambit back as the Horseman of Death in X-Men '97 season 2, the Rogue will see the error of her ways by the time that arc is over.
I mean she realized her error even after Genosha and fighting back at Bastion, but what do expect even if Gambit comes back(or that there'll be a season 2) will that accomplish!? She goes back to him, have Gambit forgive her and they lived happily ever after! This show has adult themes so we need to think like adults about this.
In x-men 97 not only they did Gambit dirty but also Rogue. If u watch the 90’s animated series there weren’t any signs or hints that Erik and Rogue used to be a couple. The writers of x-men clearly ignored it there was no past romance between these two. Erik didn’t even cared that Rogue lived or died and Rogue was concerned about Gambit Safety than Erik funeral. They pretty much did this because it happed in the comics. But people hated it when it first happen. Since they hated in the comics why would they like it in animation. This was definitely unnecessary and forced in x-men 97.
Was unnecessary an forced!? Sure just like introducing Bastion who Cable was suppose to also stop apart from Apocalypse or the Goblin Queen aka Madelyn Prior who we thought was just Jean but a different person. And keep in mind those were also in the comics but in different stories. And if were talking time travel with how the series ended featuring Apcolypse we could be seeing Rouge & Erik's quote son Magnus in the future. And don't get me wrong I hate the whole Erik & Rouge couple bit but then again I hate the whole love triangle between Cyclops,Jean & Logan as well as too many other shipping couples that shouldn't be a thing that beyond the age gap like Spiderman & Blackcat (dude was still a teen back then my guy).
The G.O.A.T Batman the animated series did a great job in conveying the problems with abusive relationships and the more recent Harley Quinn animated series takes it a step further by holding Harley accountable for falling in love with a toxic partner like Joker by which she nearly loses all of her friends because of it. Now the Harley show doesn't 100% victim blame Harley for her decisions. The shows sheds another light on such relationships given the fact that most people find confidence very attractive in other people. The problem lies in the fact that most people can't tell the difference between a confident person and a narcissistic person hence leading to people getting themselves trapped in abusive relationships.
I forgive Lois cause she did express how she has trust issues, hates lies and secrets, and tried to get Clark to tell her he’s superman. It was set up that she’d be mad, she was mad, and she did admittedly overreacted but it was early in the show, and left us with time for them to reconcile, bond, and grow together rather than her overreacting at the end of the show and leaving us with a bitter taste for years (unlike Amber)
*YES! FINALLY!* Her: "You lied to me..." Him: "I am a literal superhero who has nigh invulnerability. The only way they can truly hurt me is through my loved ones. Why the f- do you think I want to put you in harms way needlessly. Do you know how much of a risk I am taking to even let you know who I am?" 🤔
Doesn’t keeping someone in the dark put them at a higher risk? If you gave them a heads up they can at least keep their head on a swivel or weigh the risks of being associated with you.
That logic never really works in superhero media. If the hero really believed that, they'd keep their distance permanently, both their hero and secret identities.
I've noticed that when a woman in a movie/show is toxic towards a man, people usually try to justify her actions but when the genders are reversed, people are less likely to defend the man's actions. Toxicity is toxicity and it should not be ignored no matter the gender.

I think you got everything right except Joker and Harley. It is supposed to be a twisted relationship by design. Just like how Homer Simpson is a display of what not to do as a father and husband, Joker and Harley are a depiction of psychological and emotional abuse paired with Stockholm Syndrome which does happen in relationships in reality. DC have been working very hard to try and turn Harley into a feminist icon and it does not fit her character at all, nor does it understand the point that pairing was trying to get across to audiences. It's also counter productive when they want to turn Harley into this "avoid the male gaze, I don't need no man!" feminist while at the same time depicting her in a more explicit get up looking like a prostitute on the corner of a bad street in L.A, rather than the harlequin design she is obviously supposed to invoke.
Exactly. I don't understand people who say they prefer Harley without the Joker. Like, Harley doesn't exist without the Joker. She has no reason to be crazy and commit crimes unless she is crazy for the Joker and committing crimes for the Joker. Just be honest and say you prefer Deadpool because that is essentially what you're saying anyway. And preferring her to stay with the Joker doesn't mean you support abuse or hate women. It's called fiction, and at no point has anyone (except ironically more feminist modern writers) ever tried to portray their relationship as romantic or healthy
It also doesn’t make sense when they are trying to push Harley and Ivy into a wholesome relationship. This ruins the whole point of the lesson of getting into relationships with toxic people. Posion Ivy is directly know for her abusive and manipulative tactics, but DC and Ivy’s fans try hard to act as if ivy isn’t also a manipulative attempted mass murderer who SA’s people (I usually see people say that the people that Ivy does that stuff to “deserve it” even though not all of her victims are even bad people). Ivy is exactly the type of person your not suppose to get into a relationship with. DC in stuff like the Harley Quinn show tries to constantly compare that Ivy and Harley are a much better and wholesome couple than Joker and Harley, but the thing is, they’d never even completely portray Ivy as her usual completely toxic self, they have to change Ivy’s abusive traits in order for it to be a ‘good’ relationship in the first place. Ivy AND joker are very toxic people, Ivy would make for a awful and very abusive partner.
@anotherrandomguy8871 Exactly, while I know Joker/Harley is meant to be toxic, and I like Harley being developed past that, Harley/Ivy feels so forced. I get the 'supportive friend becomes a lover' angle DC is trying to pull, but they do it without acknowledging both character's obvious flaws. Why couldn't we just get them working through it, like Ivy's SA and misanthropic past, Harley's billion Joker caused issues, to become a couple that helps each other get better, since DC wants them to be antiheroes now. I see people saying Harley was better when with the Joker, and while it'd probably get as boring as Peter Parker staying a broke college kid for 50 years, I can see the point. Ever since they broke off, she's a sexualised 'feminist' icon that they're trying to shoehorn as discount Deadpool, with her personality and goals ever changing so she has no set character.
@@puglove533 I don’t think I’d have a problem with a no-Joker Harley if it was developed naturally. But it’s all so forced. She just suddenly realizes she’s being abused and completely changes her motivations and personality for no reason. That’s not character development, that’s just a new character
@@puglove533 I really wish we could see more of a genuine redemption arc for Ivy that acknowledges her actions as actually bad. Like I want Ivy herself to actually reconize her actions as SA, because I never really see anyone even bring her action up as well…SA. Plus its pretty clear why the mind-control aspect of using people like pawns is toxic. It would be cool to see this sort of progression, BEFORE Harely and Ivy get together, Ivy has to work on her abusive traits, and Harely has to acknowledge the fact that her and joker have legit ended so many countless lives just for “fun” or just because she’s trying to prove her love to joker. I think that this way, you can still keep Ivy X Harely, and you can confidently say that the pair are a healthy relationship of friends to lovers because you showed their change, progress, and ankowldgment of their bad deeds, especially on Ivy’s side consedering her bad traits are things that would foreshadow a bad relationship. You kill 2 birds in 1 stone, you get the redemption of the two and the relationship of the two. It might sound like a lot to ask, but the two characters barely make sense as a pair, so might as well individually progress these two’s characters in order to make it make more sense. Maybe they do all of that stuff in comics already, but on TV shows idk if they do that at all. Harely’s change seems to always be that she’s already redeemed and sees her murderous days as a phase.
Another way the Gambit situation could have played out that would have been infinity better if Gambit just misunderstood Rouge. Imagine if he just thought she was dancing because she was in love with another man when instead she was just enjoying the party. It's not uncommon to dance with many different people at party's and has nothing to do with romance. Then you see in another scene after he leaves Rouge say something like "I really loved dancing tonight, I only wish I could dance with thean I love, to touch him and express my love for through song and dance this way" then make his last words something along the lines of "now you can dance with someone you truly love" IMAGINE THE ANGST holding the one person you love more than anyone else and there dying words are now you can be with the one you love
In defense of Foggy Nelson, if people found out about Matt, he would loose his license to practice law and all his cases that he took would have a retrial. This includes the kingpin and any villains they put away, so it is important that he knows.
I think, at least my take, was that what Rogue did was supposed to be bad. And that she was kinda sad because she knew she totally messed up and there was no way to fix it
That's how I saw it. I also figured that's part of why she didn't show up to his funeral, because she knew what she did was wrong and she didn't feel like she deserved or should have gone to Gambit's funeral
I just hope that Gambit and Rogue would patch things up sometime in either seasons 3 or 4. I blame Beau De Mayo for ruining their relationship for his desire to see her with Magneto.
Rogue has a healthy relationship in the comics with no cheating or drama... what comics have you been reading???? All Rogue did thought out the 90s was lead Gambit on, only to push him away, running away from him, treating him like a doormat, spending more time with Joseph (a clone of Mag and doing so right in front of Gambit), leaving him to freeze to death in Antarctica because of his past while ignoring others and her own, getting her control of her powers to just leave him to sleep with Mag because she wanted to "explore" (her words)… that's not a healthy relationship whatsoever...
I’m saying that in the run of Uncanny Avengers( the 2017 and 2024 specifically) Rogue and Deadpool had a brief relationship that dosen’t include cheating or some kind of drama.
It isn’t really Disney’s fault, those moments were taken straight out of the comics, and there are a whole lot more dysfunctional moments in the comics than what this show has done so far.
@@nugget3327 that doesn't excuse you have to adapting shit source material that the comic fans already hated. like what if they adapted the spiderman clone saga? or iron heart. maybe you probably shouldn't adapt shit comics that the fans hated. because chances are high that they will still hate it lol.
Those moments were NOT taken straight out of the comics, the only thing that happen was that Mag was forcing himself on Rogue (who was barely in her teens at the time), trying to take advantage of her weaken state of mind and lack of powers, grabbing her arm and she says, "You're hurting me!" and he only stopped when they're interrupted... that's it.
I don’t see how MAWS Lois Lane fits the worst type of Love Interest the way Amber is. And compared to Amber, she’s at least likable and understandable.
The main reason that she’s better than amber is because the show outwardly acknowledges that she’s a flawed character and doesn’t make her out to be in the right like they did with Amber.
@@suzygirl1843 that I agree on. She actually felt like a genuinely nice person and I actually wanted to see her with Mark. But that also came with a different problem in that she didn’t even feel like the same character anymore. Which kinda made the whole relationship feel just a tad bit weird.
@superadambomb5834 The creators didn't understand their audience. S1 Amber can exist on BET, but mainstream media has different rules for different people. Can't display Amber's behavior on a mainstream platform. Even nice black girls aren't treated as well as their white counterparts. Someone did a video about this.
I was so excited to see a well animated, potentially popular depiction of Gambit. But this show quickly devolved into not just a dumpster fire, but an irradiated mutated supervirus in a trash can that's constantly burning.
I think what made Lois look really bad: One she was lets her journo/job take priority, In their first case we see her lie to get what she wants, AND in later episodes Lois express real antagonism towards Superman, saying to clark's face "Oh im sooo gonna expose who superman is to the whole world!!" not really a good incentive to let clark open up to her specific and saying "I wouldn't have done it, for realzies!" is not enough reassurance Two: when there was the next episode after the reveal, where Jimmy tells to both Lois and Clark that his roomate wasn't the sharpest tool in the shed and figured out himself he MIGHT Superman, Jimmy respected Clark enough to let HIM decide when he's gonna reveal that secret, makes her look entitled to know a deep secret of who's just a coworker at the the very least and a new friend at best.
Nah Lois doesn't deserve to be on this list, she actually supports Clark after season 1 and decides she wants him over a potentially better career in Gotham.

Amber...Im sorry...I find nothing even remotely likable about her (the show one that is, comic Amber is likable). She is the literal definition of "the universe revolves around me and only me." I actually love Rogue as a character...except in X-Men '97. What she did to Gambit was (in my opinion) absolutely unforgivable. Plus later on she mentions a couple of times about how much she loved him. If she "loved" him, why did she leave him for someone who is old enough to be her grandfather (personally I don't think there is actually any legitimate reason for that)?
Ooh, I don't even do comics that much, but the Rogue and Gambit stuff really made me think of the way Piper and Jason were handled by Riordan in Trials of Apollo, and that makes me really mad.
I much prefer the test Lois did to prove that Clark is Superman in Superman 2. Where she tries to “shot” Clark with a gun with no bullets in it. Shows that she’s smart and plans ahead, willing to do seemingly crazy things, and didn’t put anyone in actual danger
Here’s the thing about the relationship with rogue and magneto. I'm sorry me personally me and magneto would have been fighting.
5:52 Fuck that, I’m not giving that trope to Amber. I’m giving it to Felicity from Arrow. Woman literally helped everyone die (Flash went back in time and fixed it)/walked out of her wheelchair out of anger because the hero “lied” in order to keep seeing his son. She’s the queen of “YOU LIED TO ME?! HRRRGRRGR” (but it never applies to when SHE lies…)
At least Lois has a reason for it. Her dad. The general trying to kill Superman throughout the series, acting sneaky and never telling her anything. It makes sense for her to be upset, even if she's wrong, unlike with Amber who just bitched and complained to Mark. In the end she makes up for it and apologizes
Lois needs to put herself in Clark's position she would do the same thing in order to keep those she loves safe she has to keep her secrets. This is both a blessing & a curse you want to tell them but if by chance your enemy learns your secret your enemy has an advantage over you. Your loved one gets hurt or killed chances are they'll blame you & you'll feel guilty for putting them in danger.
Personally, I just think the "you lied" should be directed at anything else. Their problem is always about the trust aspect of it, which is stupid. They aren't obligated to tell you secrets, especially important ones. HOWEVER, it is completely unethical to risk their safety without telling them, which they objectively are. If one of these unpowered partners got upset because the person they trusted essentially signed them and their entire family up for imminent hostage scenarios, definite trauma, and possible death without giving them a choice, I'd be mad along with them. If you're going to keep the fact that you have extraordinarily volatile and malicious enemies from a person while actively pursuing a relationship with them that will put them in the line of fire, you are simply not a partner anyone should want. Either tell them before putting them in the crosshairs or don't get close to them at all. "You never told me you were a super hero!? Your enemies blow up buildings for fun, you jackass! They kill people like me all the time! So you're telling me there are multiple psychos out there that are one name away from busting down my door and kidnapping me!? Wait, do any of them know who you are!? What do you mean you aren't totally sure!? And you got with me!? WHY!? At least tell me before making me the second most wanted person on the god damn planet! Oh, my God, you've been visiting my family's house for months."
Thank you for putting Lois up on this list. There’s definitely a lot of support that people give that character past the first season, but everything I red, saw or heard compounded the point home to me that she is a terrible love interest. By all means, have her be a go getter reporter who will stop at nothing to uncover the truth, that could lead to a lot of comical and intense moments for Clark. But don’t have her throwing herself off of buildings to prove a point she doesn’t even know herself, that just makes the character look, a). like an idiot, or b). like a psychopath. Or, y'know, make a show focused on Superman! That actually would be nice.
She made one mistake and she's suddendly a terrible character? People are too harsh on love interests, as if they can't have flaws. Lois at the end chose Clark over her career.
And now Gambit is coming back as the horsemen of death, so Rouge's nightmare is only just begun. Did you not see the season finale? Pull your head out of your ass. The world doesn't revolve around what you think, and the writers actually know what they're doing.

Lois literally has an arc where she comes to the conclusion that "love isn't for cowards" idk what this youtuber is smoking

3:45 I was already iffy on whether or not to watch this show, but now you’ve just made that decision much easier

That could have worked if Beau De Mayo wasn’t the one who wrote that whole gala scene.
@@Wind_Cursed Yeah, agreed. I hope that in season 2 they develop it more, especially if Gambit returns as one of Apocalypse's four horsemen
@@QuatarTarandir Man, I hope he returns. He's my favorite. I hope they address all that stuff, too
I just hope that Gambit and Rogue would patch things up sometime in either seasons 3 or 4. I blame Beau De Mayo for ruining their relationship for his desire to see her with Magneto.
Ironic that in the comics Rogue and Deadpool are one of the few characters who have a healthy relationship that dosen’t include cheating and drama.
Honestly, Lois wasn’t that bad. She definitely gets better next season and is much better than Amber
she was great in the first seaon
I don't get the anger at not having the secret identity revealed. "GRRR HOW DARE YOU TRY TO KEEP ME AWAY FROM DANGER!"
I honestly wanna know what made Disney show Rogue kiss and dance with an old man in front of her ex.
@@V3RAC1TY it really doesn’t, and yet they still decided to adapt it anyway.
@@superadambomb5834S2 Amber was good
@@suzygirl1843 that I agree on.
@@superadambomb5834 they obviously changed her character due to backlash. it felt like a desperate attempt to make her 'likeable' to audiences.
i thought i finally healed from the gambit x rouge x magneto situation but here we are
this is deadass the only real channel left in youtube keep ds up 🙌🙌
The guy and the monkey talking 6:41 had me dying😂
I was so excited to see a well animated, potentially popular depiction of Gambit. But this show quickly devolved into not just a dumpster fire, but an irradiated mutated supervirus in a trash can that's constantly burning.
Why is every superhero girlfriend so trash and have the dumbest reasons to be angry? 😂
Because they're written by MEN
I think what made Lois look really bad: One she was lets her journo/job take priority, In their first case we see her lie to get what she wants, AND in later episodes Lois express real antagonism towards Superman, saying to clark's face "Oh im sooo gonna expose who superman is to the whole world!!" not really a good incentive to let clark open up to her specific and saying "I wouldn't have done it, for realzies!" is not enough reassurance
Two: when there was the next episode after the reveal, where Jimmy tells to both Lois and Clark that his roomate wasn't the sharpest tool in the shed and figured out himself he MIGHT Superman, Jimmy respected Clark enough to let HIM decide when he's gonna reveal that secret, makes her look entitled to know a deep secret of who's just a coworker at the the very least and a new friend at best.
YOU'RE BACK!!!! I GOON TO YOUR VIDEOS THANKS FOR POSTING AGAIN!!! ♥
Nah Lois doesn't deserve to be on this list, she actually supports Clark after season 1 and decides she wants him over a potentially better career in Gotham.
my love for these type of videos rins deep this editing is so funny man
Yo your editing is so hilarious 😂. I had to rewind a couple times cause I missed the video from laughing
"I watched you change..." (Goku vs Cooler Flashbacks)
They did Gambit so damn dirty. He deserves vengeance and justice
In one of the comics Harley literally is r worded and tortured by the joker who knocks her up and Harley has to secretly give the kid up for adoption. So toxic is an understatement ☠️💀
Harley before going crazy or after?
I know there’s an lot of comics that have Harley get an kid with the joker, for example Injustice she’s was pregnant
@@rickfastly2671 I can’t remember much of the details. But I remember that in the “joker death of the family” he tortured Harley after he left her for over a year. All because she was a little more sane than before. But when you look up that title of the comic and wright harlequins pregnant, you’ll find a comic strip of her saying this.
“I have a daughter her name is Lucy. She lives with my sister. She’s 4 and she likes TuTus and toy cars. She especially likes putting tutus on toy cars she like the idea of ballerina cars. Mistha J doesn’t know about her. I that he wouldn’t… that he wouldn’t. His work was too important he couldn’t have a daughter. I went away for almost a year. When I came back puddin was… puddin was so funny… he acted like he didn’t even notice I was gone…”
So yeah 🫠
@ dawg, that is beyond sad.😢
@@rickfastly2671 yeah I remember my friend saying “I want the relationship like them he’s just so obsessed with her” like girl you have never even seen anything other than a edit of them. 😭❤️
Honestly, between Lois, Amber, and Rogue... the only one I liked was Lois. She at times said/did questionable things, but she grew and adapted into a likable character.
Amber...Im sorry...I find nothing even remotely likable about her (the show one that is, comic Amber is likable). She is the literal definition of "the universe revolves around me and only me."
I actually love Rogue as a character...except in X-Men '97. What she did to Gambit was (in my opinion) absolutely unforgivable. Plus later on she mentions a couple of times about how much she loved him. If she "loved" him, why did she leave him for someone who is old enough to be her grandfather (personally I don't think there is actually any legitimate reason for that)?
Well blame Beau De Mayo for ruining Rogue’s character.
the fuckin editing is killing me, I hate it and love it at the same time lmao
idc Lois Lane will always be superior to that girl from invincible and I will stand on that.
Lois Lane slander needs to end.
tomboy lois lane on top fr
Did you watch the video... you really should finish it before commenting something like this
@@morgan.arthur15 nah I have my reasons and I’m standing on them
@@Home2me He never said the girl from invincible was better though 😭He makes it clear that he thinks Lois is a good character
@@morgan.arthur15 that ain’t even the reason
man I loved this, continue with your good work
Ooh, I don't even do comics that much, but the Rogue and Gambit stuff really made me think of the way Piper and Jason were handled by Riordan in Trials of Apollo, and that makes me really mad.
Yo btw I need a full length explanation of why you think the Venom movies are cheeks, they are my childhood dream come true man!
When he put Dashie's stare into the vid I died 😭💀🤣🤣🤣🤣
I much prefer the test Lois did to prove that Clark is Superman in Superman 2. Where she tries to “shot” Clark with a gun with no bullets in it. Shows that she’s smart and plans ahead, willing to do seemingly crazy things, and didn’t put anyone in actual danger
" Cuz She belongs to Streets "
Here’s the thing about the relationship with rogue and magneto. The fans well told in advance that they were going to do this and they hated it and were telling the writers not to go down that path and they did it anyway. Thankfully he’s since been fired from the show altogether.
If you want to know who was responsible for that story it was beau de mayo and he’s a straight up creep in real life.
Yeah I was really pissed. They did my boy Gambit dirty and when that to my mom she got mad for saying that I said that she was a piece of shit for what Rouge did. They've been a couple since the old school X-Men which was in the 90s now all suddenly it's a problem that you can't have physical Connection ? I'm sorry me personally me and magneto would have been fighting.
Occasionally flirting with each other doesn't mean to be a couple, ffs
Nah bro gambits the love interest over rogue dont get it twisted 😭
Even worse. My boy Gambit deserves better
God I hate the “you lied to me” trope.
IT’S STUPID😡
All reviews should be how they did the reveal by Oliver to Thea in Arrow☺️
In the end she makes up for it and apologizes
yeah gambit was done so incredibly dirty.
The spiderman pumping gas sent me....and i dont know why😂😂😂😂😂
How dare you put Lois in this category 😂 I love her
Thank you for putting Lois up on this list.
These edits are top tier
Rahhhhhh! Gambit's death made me so mad when dp 3 came out with **spoilers** Gambit. I almost cried cuz compared to 87. They did him justice!
Dude I hated Rouge after what she did to gambit
I love how season 1 amber a category by itself.
Rip gambit bruh
They definitely did this to him after Deadpool and wolverine 😭
7:17 did it for me 😂
I’m man 😭
Ya, I’m man
And now Gambit is coming back as the horsemen of death, so Rouge's nightmare is only just begun. Did you not see the season finale? Pull your head out of your ass. The world doesn't revolve around what you think, and the writers actually know what they're doing.
I'm watching these 3 videos made my day lol

Rogue is for the danger room 💀
Gambit is My favorite character and rogue is one of my favorites too, the actions that she did were kinda stupid but clearly this is all set up for season 2, gambit is obviously coming back through apocalypse and I believe this will come with a fantastic story between gambit and rogue.
Where hopefully Gambit gets some self-respect, walks away from Rogue and gets together with someone else since she needs to pay the consequences of her actions and not be forgiven and rewarded. You have to draw the line somewhere and say enough is enough and stay broken up and far away from each other.
@@404ServerErrorYou acting like Gambit and Rogue should stay separate all the way to the end of the series. I think they should slowly patch things up before coming back together after all of the damage Beau De Mayo did to their relationship. If anyone wants to blame someone for what happened to Rogue’s character in X-Men 97, blame Beau De Mayo.
Just when you think you're out they pull you back in
it happened to me too.

Foggy Nelson isn’t one of the “you lied to me” friends just bc Matt was also lying about being blind which is a deep interpersonal thing that shaped their friendship
7:48 well she kinda is a victim of how great joker manipulate tactics are, so when she become his “harley quinn” she already long gone… especially normal person who dwell on mental health thingy would going crazy much more easier
