Great review! Succinct and to the point. Purchased one of these last night at launch and got an email saying it will be delivered within 4 days. Looking forward to the 150" image!
Thanks for the review. How does this projector hold up to the new XGIMI Aura 2? Are these more or less equal? Maybe something to cover in a future video?
Just yesterday I visited Value Electronics in Scottsdale, NY and they had Hisense's new PX3-Pro on display next to AWOL's new LTV-3500 Max. They both had excellent image quality, but the Hisense PX3-Pro had deeper blacks and more detail. I'll be going back tomorrow to see Hisense's PL2 UST and the C2-Ultra Portable projectors.
This account has been spamming all sorts of recent projector videos with some comment about Value Electronics. It's obviously spam and coming from the owner of that rinky dink little store. SPAM ALERT

Thanks for the review. Considering only the image quality in "night viewing" which is better between the Formovie Theater Premium and the Valerion VisionMaster Pro 2?
Firstly throw distance was 24 cm height for 100" and now the brand show 34 cm as new number.somthing weird the correction ffrom the brand. Is this the final number? I mean the height from the bottom of projector to the bottom of the image. Thanks
Thanks for the 1st hand review.. can you please do a comparison review with hisense pl2 and samsung LPU9D,which would you recommend this over the hisense pl2 ?
@all things tech, thank you for your good work. I have a quick question, is there a chance you will review in the near future the Naxigo TriVision Ultra projector? I think it could be a dark horse on the projector market, especially since it is still available for pre-sale for almost half the price until tomorrow. Thanks.
What size file on a memory stick can this projector play through the USB port. Some are limited to 4GB. Why don't these companies state this feature,it matters to people that have trouble mirroring and can only play their videos through the USB port.
It's 1800 ISO lumen ore 2800 ANSI lumen and 2200 ISO lumen or 3200 ANSI lumen, you don't mention that. There is a difference between those 2 standards. And what is Dolby Atoms?
What...wait. did I just read that right? ISO lumen and ANSI Lumen are different? I was going to by the PX3-Pro because it's brightness is 3000 compared to what I thought was the FMTP's "paltry" 2200
Ok I've done some research - I think (disappointingly for me) you may be wrong in your calculations. 1 ANSI Lumen is 1.045 ISO lumen, so 2200 ISO is under 2300 ANSI. 😢
Great news - Formovie released (in July) an article saying how when they transitioned to using ISO lumens they adjusted the info on the original Formovie Theatre from 2,800 ANSI lumens to 1800 ISO lumens. This means that we can confidently say that the new Formovie Theatre Premium model, rated at 2200 ISO lumens, should far exceed the PX3-Pro's 3000 ANSI lumens!
@@ChrisBicourt1 Just found the info at Nothing Projector, and i getting quite annoyed by their lumen statements. This was my reaction on their channel... Wait a minute... The previous Formovie Theater model had 1800 ISO lumen or 2800 lumen. Formovie used ANSI lumen but changed to ISO lumen, because Epson wanted to sue Formovie in court. Now you claim those 1800 ISO lumen are 2250 ANSI lumen? The new Formovie Premium gives 2200 ISO lumen or 2750 ANSI lumen, which is 50 lumen less than the Formovie Theater. How the hell is that possible? Is this a scam? Please explain that to us, potential buyers. 😡
@@walterverbeeck6929 🤔 I think the 2250 may be a typo. On their official notice on their website in June they stated 1800 ISO was 2800 ANSI. The Theatre Premium is 2200 ISO which should be about 3400 ANSI by their calculations...but I can't find it stated anywhere.
Good to see manufactures are listening to their customer base. Now if only Hollywood would do the same and start releasing more 3D blu rays, as clearly, there is a demand, regardless of what some people say. 3D on a home projector, is way better than in the theater, with those cheap glasses, that don't do much.
No useful way to use a center channel and no projector can "project" black. The only thing they have going for them is screen size. Hopefully one day these 2 issues are sorted..

We beed a comparison with the HiSense PX3-PRO which looks to be much brighter, faster refresh rates, backlit remote and more...
how would you compare this to the hisense px3 pro ? thx for this great review!
I have the same question. Evaluating between projectors now and need to make a decision soon.
Great video. How does this compare to the AWOL 3500 Pro?
Apples and oranges. AWOL is so much brighter!

@@SnakeDoctor5104Yeah, the industry jumped to 4K too early imo. 3D is a perfect resolution for 4K TV/projectors and they were perfecting it..,
eMMC and RAM are still bad for that kind of projection. They should be at least 8GB of RAM and 128GB of eMMC.
