Grimaldi's Coal Brick Oven Pizzeria

Jason and I are at the Grimaldi's in First Colony are of Sugar Land, Texas. This is our favorite pizza place. They began in Brooklyn, New York. The coal fired brick oven gives a great char and flavor to the pizza. The toppings are high quality. They have a killer pizza sauce and they use fresh mozzarella. The pizza is really incredible. We got The Don with pepperoni, meatball, and sausage. The homemade desserts are amazing as well. I had the seasonal reese's peanut butter cup cheesecake and Jason had the oreo cheesecake. They are both rich and creamy with great flavor. They also have a good cannoli and tiramisu. The service is good. This particular location looked like it could have used at least one more server at the time we were there. Grimaldi's has locations nation wide. If this is your style of pizza go and try it. You will not be disappointed.
