The oil light I figured out. The actual light (on above screen ) goes off when engine comes on, but the main screen gets stuck with the red light if you switch on the engine at the moment the flashing was on. It’s a factory fault
hi there!i had decide to go for the new transalp.but, transalp with the extraw i want will go close to 13k.this is at 8.5k with everything.so i m thinking seriously for this bike.i dont have the chance for a test ride,so i went to a dealer and sat on one.,i am 1.80 and i would like my legs to be a little lower.a solution is to make a custon higher seat.and to take off the ruber from the pegs.so,the question is did you found much vibrations to the pegs?at high revs let say.if the ruber be removed,do you think will be annoying?
Hello Thodoris ..Definitely cannot imagine removing the rubber from the pegs and at 4000 rpm it will be terribly annoying... because 4k and the harmonic 8k is usually where we find ourselves riding. You can learn to shift differently but it doesn't feel natural.
What what what ? Germans who drive Benelli doing english review ?! Strange times indeed . I also bought this one , it should arrive within next 1.5 months , my 1st ever motorcycle straight after driving school . I was breaking my head almost 3 months what to buy, i did visit all 4 Japanese saloons ... I choosed this one because of price , extra travel bags, comfort and really gorgeous look . Friends of mine who owns their motorcycles told me i should pick anything that suits my height and fits my budget . I actually took this without even trying it or sit on it - they are quite popular here in Croatia and they are beeing sold out very quickly . I could've only try TRK 502 X , which was almost same size :/
Haha I'm actually Italian.. born and brought up in India ..but identify as German 😂😂😂😂😂... It's a really strange combo bro 😂😂😂 I like putting hot sauces and chilly on wiener schnitzel... But don't eat pineapple pizza 😂😂😂... I think you've made the right choice with the 702 X 👏👏👏.. if you have watched the video you know what to expect.. I'm working on a PT 2 of the video so subscribe to know when I post it .. thanks for your comment.. be cool and ride safe so you can ride forever
If you hadn't noticed most people prefer english in their video' as there is a much wider audience, which in turn brings more subscribers. Also better than just being known worldwide in Germany (Germans will understand this). I recognised the 'indian' accent straight away in his english, altho' a bit confused at first, his statement about being Italian born in India clarified this. What boggled me was, if the bike is for his wife why change things on it to suit yourself if she's happy with it. Let her get used to the bike first as it is and then if she is unhappy with this or that let her make that decision. Crashbars I understand, but handlebars and rear mudguard, it's her bike right, then she cleans it, without, this is one thing less to clean. Your wife will love it more having more say concerning HER bike 😉.
@@Wrong-Way-Round Hi there, you're not wrong about changing things around on "her" bike however, to my defence I don't think she minded the changes at all, and all said and done she will come to appreciate them more as time goes on and the rides get more technical. As her husband and rider-guider I must ensure that no part of the motorcycle comes in the way of her learning experience..an in my experience the angle and height of the handle bar is very important especially when you need to stand up on gravel. As far as the cleaning goes guess who is gonna be in charge of THAT lol .... But thanks for your comment and thanks for watching..Ride safe

Have owned the Leoncino 500, was a fun bike really enjoyed it. I think Benelli are making some nice machines, will check this one out when it arrives in Australia
Hi Kevin sorry for the late reply.. I have a Tiger 1200 rally pro 2022 .. the triumph 800 looks like an awesome bike .. haven't had the chance to ride it myself but hopefully I will get a test ride from my dealership and do a review on it .. if I had the budget I would have bought that one for the missus..
thanks for such good review You helped us (buyers) so much every info means a lot to us. please tell me about fuel consumption per 100 km I took my 702 x in the end of february great bike but i think that 6 lit per 100 km is a little bit too much what do You think? Curently i drove 312 km and poured 18 litres/ That is 6 lit /100 km?
Great review, thank you. I have a trk 502x and I am going to switch towards the 702x but still making up my mind regarding the colour.. moon grey(white) or the dune sea. Had a testride and the lack in performance/hp which was the only issue for me with the 502x is solved with the 702 ☺️
Well honestly the vibrations are less but still present... this will be a concern for us because when we decide to go for longer rides the vibration from the pegs will affect my wife's plates in her ankle as she twisted and broke it whilst hiking in the forest...I tell you walking is more dangerous than riding LOL
@cf23575 not sure that all wheelchair motorcyclists agree with you... :( :) I use a material from Germany which I put as a washer between footpeg and bike. Reduces vibration nicely: SLAB SL750 OR 450. Forgot which is harder but the harder is the better one. The 1cm thick will compress to like 5mm but still reduce vibrations nicely. There are pro anti vibration pegs from the US but they will cost you...
what was actually mounting the bracket like? it doesn't hurt that it is on the suspension point of the block. Did you use some nut /washer for the space or is it right on the frame (just screw out, bars on and screw in? thank you ;)
@@michalbenelli702x It's pretty easy but you might have to use the original bolt because the bolt that comes with the kit doesn't fit the recess in the block on the left side ..
First and foremost, good review, mine is also on order, but regarding your maintenance you are obliged to go to an authorized dealer, regarding your warranty, if you renounce it, you are no longer entitled to the warranty, should something of any kind arise. nature too and if you regularly light up oil warring is not okay 2nd issue you brake the first 100-200 kilometers your motorcycle does not brake as it should, your brake pads still need to be broken in, the same with your tires, but I assume you know all this know, I think you should mention this in your review, there are always people who do not have this experience and end up on the wrong foot. Kind regards.
Hi Marc, Thanks for your comment and terribly sorry for the late reply. We did go to the authorised dealer for the first service and yes our warranty is perfectly in tact👍 The oil warning seems to have cleared up and hasn't shown up except when starting the bike which is normal.. Regarding the break pads you may have a point however I think since the break disks were not cleaned initially and I rode it 300kms straight out the dealership with hard braking I think it damaged the performance of the pads temporarily .. however later I did rough them up with sand paper and that issue was sorted as well.. I hope you got yours..keep me posted😊
Im very shocked at the treatment & poor service you received from your Benelli dealer,as you own a New machine that’s under the manufacturers warranty All service parts should be genuine items & Not aftermarket parts. This would invalidate your warranty if your were unfortunate to make a claim. Its lucky that you are competent and able to carry out all the essential service/safety work yourself as not everyone can. Excellent first ride review as to me this bike is very tempting & great value as a Budget adventure machine. Unfortunately in the UK All stock appears to be sold & the next batch is due March 2024.
Absolutely correct... Chinese manufacturing has come a long way however they don't spend much on R&D and after sales service.. I've noticed this with some very expensive camera gear I bought recently as well, same story .. great build quality upto 95% and then some really stupid flaw that you have to overcome and modify using aftermarket parts.. However for the price these niggles can be overlooked and overcome, if, you stay patient and have some handyman skills.. Every machine has its drawback it just depends on what we can live with .. I've had some issues with my triumph tiger 2022 as well, and it's still under warranty.. however I will make another video on this one and explain everything.. Personally I can handle a lot because I am an ex-motorcycle mechanic myself but if you think of the average consumer like my wife ... well that's why I'm starting to make these videos..Thanks for your comment much appreciated🤗
@@Ridernineteenone I agree 100% & we all need to take Chinese products very seriously now as they are getting very close to the popular motorcycle brands now but better value for money. I really think I will be changing my 2017 Honda NC750X for either a New Benelli or CF Moto early next year. I too do home servicing so will try my best to care for it myself as long as I can obtain parts. Keep the Benelli updates coming,it would be great to view some workshop /service videos on the TRK702 as I’m sure other owners would benefit from them.
