    I have had 502c for three now done 6500 miles on it it's lovely at 60 miles an hour just taking your time as I am 72 an old gimmer faye the tank size 20 litres I have done nearly 300 miles once on it its good for 250 miles but a lot to fill it up at the pump I always treat to E5 but do like the 702 road bike enjoy

    Had my Benelli from new, for 8 years now, and just under 20k miles. Been everywhere on it, two trips to France and even as far as the Alps in the south of France. Never been an issue in all that time. Has Brembo brakes and massive Marzocchi USD forks. I can garrauntee I'll not see another when out on it. Yes they are cheap bikes and the residual value is probably low but I absolutely love it. Cost me £4K back in 2015

    • @TinsonTour
      @TinsonTour  ปีที่แล้ว

      Yeah our mate has done 32k on his trk all over with no issues , residual prices aren't really an issue when the bike new only costs £6500 , struggle to find a bad point

      @@TinsonTour think the problem is bike snobbery some people are very brand image led I could afford a 15/20k bike but would mean big debt which in these dark times I don’t want to do maybe the big dealers need to drop their prices, specific benelli heated grips are £120 wouldn’t see the big boys charging those prices

      U mention torque and this bike seems to lack it. Ihave reduced my bike size, weight and power because of age. Plumbed for a v strom650. The engine is astonishing. Will pull in ant gear whatever. Will pull30 - to max speed i. 6 th without a grumble. It has fast become my favourite all time bike. Comfy, fast enough, economical and light compared. The stock suspension is superb on the bumpy welsh mountains.

    Yeah, it was a dull day but the country lanes in that aera and views in general were great. I see you've got the Shark Helmet on again, I keep saying I need one of them but still haven't, coz other bike bills keep turning up in the post. Strange how many bike vloggers keep opening and closing their visors when talking to us. Now, what else did I wanna write, oh yes, the Bike...., well, the colour green is nice.

    • @TinsonTour
      @TinsonTour  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The main reason i do it is 2 fold , 1 I'm claustrophobic and usually ride with visor open , 2 my pinlok is in my clear visor so when i speak in cold weather the visor steams up .... other than that it needs a bigger screen.

    Hi Shaun, hope you are well. Quick question, what was your overall experience with the Afirca twin? I currently have a 2019 GSA 1200. Whilst i like it, i can't help but feel a 11.5k bike isn't worth to run through the UK winters. I have been offeted a 2020 AT Sports(manual) for 8k, i feel 3.5k savings is worthwhile whilst jot giving up too much in performance. Being on27. I do feel i get stereotyped as being an old git at bike meets before i take my helmet off 😂.

    Its far from a bargain. The price is too close already to a new Yamaha Tracer 7, more expensive than a decent used Tracer 9
    It does look like a good bike, that is not the question.
    But the competition is very though: new middleweight more established brands, plus used big bore tourers.
    For me immage is not a neglectable factor.

      £6500 far from a bargain with full aluminium luggage ???? With a tried and tested kawasaki versys engine ... proper bargain in my eyes
